"Jeno~" Karina sings as she walks in to her friend's bedroom without even knocking or asking permission.

She halts when the said boy groans and peeks through his blanket with glaring eyes, "you're still sick?" She asks, eyebrows furrowed.

She sees Jeno nodding a little under the blanket before he starts moving, changing his position.

"I feel like a slug," he whines while rubbing his eyes.

Karina walks over to the messy bed and drops her purse on Jeno's nightstand. She reaches a hand to feel his forehead, then tilts her head to the side.

"You feel fine to me..." She drawls in a mutter.

"Well obviously I'm not." He hisses, squinting his eyes again. "Trust me, Jaemin already checked my temperature and he said the same thing."

"It's been a few days, right?" His friend asks while gently brushing his bangs away from his forehead.

Dear, now Karina is acting like his mom again, she often does this when there's something wrong–which there is.

"I don't even know, I lost track." Jeno mutters, although Karina can't see his mouth moving due to the blanket covering half of his face.

"Jeez, should I call a doctor's appointment for you?" Karina suggests, already reaching for her phone in her purse.

Jeno gave her a small nod, eyes getting droopy as he then hears Karina talking to someone else, this time on the phone.

After a while, the older girl politely ends the phonecall with a farewell and checks up on her friend again, "do you need anything at all?"

Jeno shrugs as a response, "what have you been doing the whole day while Jaemin's at work?" She asks, trying to get atleast a bit of information from her friend's ill state.

"Sleeping," the younger boy briefly mumbles.

Clicking her tongue, Karina pulls the blanket down to reveal Jeno's other half of his face and ignores the loud whine she receives from the action.

"You've only been sleeping?!" She almost shrieks but tries not to, "Jen, it's like–" she glances at her watch, "almost two in the afternoon."

"Doesn't matter, I can still have lunch. Lunch hours are from eleven in the morning to one or two in the afternoon." The younger boy grumbles.

Karina looks at him in shock, "Jeno, that's so unlike you." She comments in a whisper.

It's almost like the boy in front of her isn't Jeno.

"What?" She hears a tired voice.

"Jeno, you're usually active. You don't even take naps most of the time, you're always on the go and have something to do, whether Jisung's around or not."

The said boy moans and peeks through the blanket again, "Karina, just let the doctor take care of it. I'm feeling too sluggish to do anything."

Karina sighs and plays with his messy bed hair again, "fine," she gives in, not wanting to bother the young boy much more.

"But atleast eat something."

"Urghh~"

"Na Jeno." She scolds, voice stern.

"Fine!"

Jaemin enters the condominium with Jisung holding his hand, "is papa still sick, daddy?" The little boy asks, looking up at his father.

"Let me go check," Jaemin said as he helps Jisung take off his backpack and place it on the couch. "Go ahead and change first okay? Can you do that all on your own now or do you need any help?"

"I can do it! I'm a big boy now!" Jisung insists, beaming at him.

Jaemin chuckles while ruffling his hair, he pats him lightly and gestures for him to go ahead. Smiling when his son runs off in excitement.

Since Jisung started kindergarten, he's always been telling them he's a big boy now and he can do a few things without their help.

Once Jaemin hears Jisung closing his bedroom door, he slightly flinched when a voice spoke up.

"You're home early." He turns around to see Karina holding a bowl of soup and sighs in relief, one of his hands placed on his chest.

Seeing his reaction, the older girl chuckles in amusement. "Relax, I'm not a burglar or something." She shakes his head at him.

"I just didn't expect you to be here." Jaemin mutters while placing his briefcase on the couch, beside Jisung's small backpack.

"Didn't I inform you I'm leaving early? And besides, did you really think I wouldn't stop by to check on my best friend who's ill?" She sassed.

"Well, you said it was sort of important–"

"My best friend is important, dummy." Karina rolls her eyes at him.

Jaemin just shrugs back, "I thought you meant it has something to do with Winter," he defends himself.

The older girl just sighs at him, "anyway, come with me and check up on your lover. He's really out of it," she mutters.

The last part made Jaemin furrow his eyebrows but silently follows behind her anyway.

They enter the bedroom as Jaemin quietly closes the door behind them, walking over to the messy bed– which hasn't changed since this morning– Karina placing the bowl on the nightstand.

She lightly shakes the figure under the covers and automatically gets a whine, "Jen, come on, eat up." She ushers.

Jaemin quirks a brow up at her, "he hasn't eaten?" He asks, earning a shake of her head. "Even breakfast?" Another shake.

He sighs deeply before they both flinch when Jeno springs up from under the covers after he hears his husband's voice.

"You're home!" He cheers and wraps his arms around Jaemin's neck, pulling him in to a hug.

His husband smiles and hugs back, caressing his back gently as he kisses Jeno's temple. "Yeah, and Jisung's in his room, so don't worry."

He then pulls away to frown at the younger boy who blinks at him innocently, "baby," he calls.

Jeno hums and tilts his head to the side, "why haven't you been eating? You even skipped breakfast." Jaemin sighs.

"So?"

"Sweetheart, you've never done that, you're actually the one who scolds us about missing breakfast." Jaemin points out.

"Well, I'm just not hungry." The younger boy said, squirming in Jaemin's hold.

"But you have to eat now, we're not letting you off like this– especially from how much hard work I put into making this soup for you Jen." Karina crosses her arms.

Jeno pouts, about to whine and protest again until Jaemin pinches his cheek, "eat up or I'm not cuddling you, sweetheart."

The younger boy then slouches and weighs his body in him, "fine~" pouting for a kiss and giggles when Jaemin gives him what he wants, connecting their lips.

Karina watches them with knitted eyebrows, "what the hell?" She mutters quietly to herself.
