International Playboy
Pairing: Sehun/Luhan
Description : Sehun is not interested in dating Koreans and just then a Chinese student walks into his life.
Another one of my crappy ideas which I was too lazy to make into an actual story :):
Just like any other day, the hallway was noisy and busy. Some students leaning against their locker conversing with their friends, a few couples kissing and girls gossiping here and there.
Oh Sehun and his friend, Jongin walked through the hallway discussing about their weekend. "Hey, love," said Jongin once he laid his eyes on his boyfriend who had just walked up to them. Sehun scrunched his nose at the sight of his friend and his boyfriend, Kyungsoo kissing.
"Ew! Disgusting! Get a room, for God's sake!" he threw his head back with a dramatic sigh while the couple laughed at the youngest. Oh Sehun and Kim Jongin were the most popular duo in Seoul High. Kim Jongin was off the market while Sehun simply said he found no Korean who piqued his interest.
"There must be someone destined for you and when you do get into a relationship, I'm coming for you and your partner, hon," said Kyungsoo with a drop of humour in his voice. As they stood there in front of his locker talking, suddenly the whole place fell silent.
Everyone fell silent and their eyes turned to the entrance as they moved away giving way for someone to come through. Sehun furrowed his brows before looking in the direction and felt his breath getting knocked out of his lungs while his pupils dilated and gulped.
Walking through the door was a short petit male. Messy blond hair, doe eyes like a deer which reflected the ocean and a face as ethereal as anyone could have ever come across. "Wow!" that was all that left Sehun's thin lips as he stared at the guy.
Kyungsoo and Jongin smirked at their friend who was staring at the new student with wide eyes and lips agape. "Hey, I'm Kyungsoo and this is my boyfriend, Jongin," the male introduced themselves and the student smiled with a bow.
"I'm Xiao Luhan," he replied pointing to himself and Kyungsoo understood he had difficulties with the language. "So, Chinese, I assume."
Luhan nodded and smiled, "My, uhm, language may not be the best but will you guys help me out?"
Kyungsoo nodded and gave a smile with his heart-shaped lips, "Do you have your schedule?" The Chinese male nodded before reaching for the sheet of paper in his bag and handing it to Kyungsoo who smiled as he looked up at their tall friend, "How convenient! You have the same classes as Sehun here."
Sehun came out of his trance when he realised he was staring, "What?" Jongin shook his head, "You and Luhan here have the same classes so he can hang out with you." The tall brunet stared at his friends as he processed their words in his head.
"Say what?"
Kyungsoo rolled his eyes before turning to Luhan, "He's our friend, Oh Sehun. He may be a little slow but he's a nice guy." The short male nodded with a smile and looked up to Sehun, "Please take responsibility for me."
The three went beet red and Sehun choked and cleared his throat, "I think you mean 'take care', right?" Luhan made an o with his mouth and flashed a sheepish smile as he apologized.
Sehun nodded and asked the male to follow him as they walked to their first class which was English.
As the professor taught, Sehun had his head on his arms on the table while Luhan focused on the professor as best as he could. The brunet turned to the Chinese male, "Say, Lu. I can call you Lu, right?"
"How are you not falling asleep?"
Luhan chuckled, "I'm pretty nervous about my first day. I guess my nerves are keeping me up." Sehun raised his brows, "He's chill. He doesn't really mind but the other professors would be a pain in the ass."
Luhan laughed and thanked the male before turning to look in front while Sehun continued to sleep next to him.
Lunch came pretty soon and Luhan sat down with the trio he met in the morning. "So, Lu how are you liking Korea so far?" Jongin started and the others turned to Chinese male. "Well, I like it here. But I really suck at Korean," said the male with a pout.
"How have you been learning Korean so far? Online? YouTube?" Luhan shook his head and pulled out a book form his bag, "I bought this dictionary online. Thought I'd learn with this."
Jongin and Kyungsoo shook their head, "Books won't help you, our friend. Only lovers do."
Sehun spit out his food while Luhan stared at them with mouth agape, "Lovers?" The couple nodded, "If you wish to learn a language fast, get a lover. We have this senior friend, Junmyeon Hyung. His boyfriend is Chinese too and he learned the language in less than a month after they started dating."
"That actually works?" asked Luhan his doe eyes staring at Kyungsoo who nodded. "Yixing Hyung would say curse words without actually knowing it and now he can do puns," replied Jongin.
"So where do I get a lover?" Luhan curiously asked while the lovers shared a smirk and pointed to their friend who was sitting as silent as he possibly could. "You're lucky since our friend only dates guys out of Korea," they said and Sehun choked on the piece of chicken.
"I do?"
"Yeah, you do."
"Did you or did you not say Koreans are simply boring?" Sehun wanted to retort but seeing he could not, he put his head down staring at his laps as his ears went red. "So, Seahun--"
"Sehun."
"Right. Sehun here would be my master to teach me the language?"
The three boys choked at the term and looked at the Chinese who flashed them a sheepish smile, "Lover, Lu. Not master."
_____
Later that day, the four were getting ready to go home. As they waited, a loud honk made them look up. "How does Chanyeol Hyung balance work and picking yo up on time?" Sehun asked Jongin who waved at his cousin.
"Not him, his husband. Baekhyun Hyung needs me to baby sit my favourite nephew and niece."
"Can I get a ride with you?" asked his boyfriend and he was quick to nod his head. Despite Jongin being a good driver, his parents refused to get him a car since his brother got into an accident a few years ago but luckily survived and met his Chinese boyfriend.
As they walked, Kyungsoo looked back and waved at their two friends who waved back then turned to his boyfriend, "I bet 5000 that they would be a couple at the end of two weeks."
"I bet 10,000 they'd be a couple at the end of the week."
"You're on!"
When the couple was gone, Sehun and Luhan awkwardly stood with each other. "So how would you go? Mom picking you up?" the Chinese male shook his head, "I need to get a cab." The brunet turned to shorter one, "Cab? How would you explain your address when you don't fully know the language?"
Luhan looked down at his feet with his bottom lip tugged between his teeth and Sehun narrowed his brows, "Don't tell me." He let out a gasp, "You don't know your address, do you?"
I memorized it, okay? But it was too long and I kinda--"
"Forgot it," Sehun finished with a little chuckle. "So you have no way to go home?" the Chinese shook his head, "I can call Mom. She can pick me up."
"How 'bout we take the bus and you can stay at my place till your Mom comes?"
Luhan shook his head, "It's alright. I'll wait here, you go ahead." The brunet turned around to look at the jocks behind them, "Nah, you can't. I'll tell your Mom about the location, it'll be easier."
The shorter one hesitated. "Hey, newbie," came a voice and Sehun mentally groaned at the sight of one of the jocks who had just walked up to them, "What do you want, Yifan?" asked the brunet as he pulled the Chinese male behind him.
"I wanted to introduce myself to the newbie," replied he and looked at Luhan, "I'm Yifan and you are beautiful." He held out his hand with a wink. The Chinese male giggled as his cheeks flushed up.
He reached over to shake the other's hand, "I'm Xiao Lu--" Sehun pulled him back before glaring at Yifan, "Goodbye Yifan." Pulling Luhan with him the tall brunet walked to the terminal.
"That was rude, you know? He seemed nice." Luhan pouted as he settled next to Sehun on the bus and Sehun scoffed, "Nice? Nice, my ass."
"What does that mean?" The brunet quickly shook his head not wanting to teach curse words to the shorter male. "And Yifan is not nice, okay? He has slept with almost every girl there and some guys too," Luhan made on o with his lips as he nodded and sat back.
Sehun turned to his side when he heard Luhan speaking to someone. The brunet tapped on his shoulder, "Do you like to sit by the window?" The Chinese nodded, "It's alright. I'm good here."
"I don't like to. Switch with me."
The Chinese nodded as he switched seats and Sehun turned to his side to glare at the older man. "What do you say for a tree?"
"Naamu," replied the tall male and Luhan nodded. "What about friend?"
"Chingu."
"Neo nae chingu."
Seeing Sehun give him a thumbs-up, Luhan smiled proudly not realizing the other was smiling as well.
______
Soon after the two were at Sehun's place. "Your boyfriend's cute," commented his mother and Sehun facepalmed, "He's not my boyfriend, Mom."
"Sehun is my lover to teach me Korean."
Sehun had lost counts of how many times he had choked that day, "Friend, Lu." With a nervous chuckle, the taller pulled him to his bedroom. "Woah, your room is cool."
"The owner is cool, so it definitely should be, right?"
The two settled on the bed once Luhan had called his mother and Sehun was done explaining the address to her.
"So when's your birthday?"
"April," replied Luhan. "Oh, mine too."
"20."
"12. Well, I'm the elder then," Sehun laughed and Luhan stuck out his tongue.
"I assume you're single," said the elder and the younger one nodded, "Yeah, I had a crush on a classmate of mine but then he and friend began dating."
"Wow, that must have been quite an event."
Luhan sighed as he nodded, "My friend did not tell me until it was a month later when I accidentally caught them at the school auditorium." Sehun nodded feeling a little sorry for the younger and he hated to admit it, but he felt a little relieved.
"What about you?" The brunet shook his head, "I've never dated anyone."
"Because you found Koreans boring?" Sehun laughed as he nodded, "I was kidding. There are many Koreans who look extremely good. For instance, remember Jongin's cousin?" He nodded. "His husband is like the prettiest person you could come across and there's this junior, Taehyung, Baekhyun's brother. He looks really beautiful too," and Sehun shrugged, "But they don't look like someone I'd be interested in for a long time."
"Well, that's true. If you were interested in Baekhyun, I'm pretty sure Chanyeol Hyung would hit you. Plus his arms were really good," retorted the Chinese man and flexed his arm trying to imply his point.
"Oh, please," Sehun scoffed folding his arms in front of his chest, "I'm stronger than him." Luhan shook his head as he laughed, "No, you're not." The elder huffed, "This shirt makes me look thin. I'm extremely built on the inside," said he puffing up his chest.
"I don't believe you. Anyone could see he's stronger than you."
"You're challenging me?" Sehun raised his brow before taking off his shirt and pointed to his wll built torso, "See this? I'm re--"
"Oh Sehun! What in the world are you doing?"
The brunet pulled his shirt to his chest and gasped at his mother who stood at the door frame, "Mom, it's not what you think."
"Him," he pointed to the younger and then at himself, "and me. Just friends. I swear to God, Mom. We're not lovers, I promise. And we were not about to do what you think we were about to do."
"He was just showing me his body, Mrs. Oh. Nothing else."
Sehun went beet red as his mother threw the greasy spatula at his head, "You were doing a strip show at the house? What is wrong with you, Oh Sehun?"
The male tried to defend himself but realized this was better than letting his mother know he was complimenting someone who was married.
"He said he would fight Chanyeol Hyung and I said he is than him."
"That's true, honey," the lady turned to her son, "He's all muscle, Hunnie and you, you're all bones still."
"Oh, no, Mom. Sehun is hard."
Her ace went red as she glared at her son, "He means my abs, Mom. I swear, please trust me." She turned to Luhan, "Your mom is waiting downstairs, sweetie," and looked up at her son, "You and I need to talk later, young man."
______
It was almost a week later and Luhan was now the most popular kid in school. Since he did not know much about the city yet he always stuck to Sehun's side like a lost puppy. Luhan had managed to learn the way back home and Sehun felt a little selfish since he wanted the male to ride the bus with him but never voiced it out.
The Chinese male had signed up for basket ball, something he definitely loved. Just like any other day, he had done with his practice and went back to the locker room. He was getting his shirt to wear it when he heard footsteps approach him.
"You look better without the shirt," came a suggestive comment which had him turning around. "Oh, hey Yifan," he smiled a little and turned back to put on his shirt only for it to be snatched away.
Luhan glared at the male, "Why would you do that?" Yifan smirked before throwing it to the other side and nearing the younger. "I like how pure and innocent you are," said the taller, eyes looking at the other as if he was his prey.
The shorter rolled his eyes before going over to get his shirt but Yifan pulled him by his arm and slammed the male on one of the lockers. Luhan yelped when the back of his head slammed against the locker.
"What do you say I take you on a date," he asked moving his hands over Luhan's arm, "and we could go to my house later? My parents are out of town too."
"I think that plan sucks," came a snarky reply and Yifan gritted his teeth, "What do you want?"
"To let go of my friend there."
"How 'bout no?" Sehun glared at the male before kicking him on his shin. Yifan groaned holding his leg and crouched down. The brunet took it as his chance before pushing him on the floor and straddle him before punching him black and blue, "Stay the fuck away from him!"
When he turned around, Luhan had passed out on the floor. "Oh, shit!" the male paled seeing the crimson liquid on the other's nape.
Fortunately, Chanyeol was there and drove them to the hospital. Luhan was sleeping while Sehun waited for his parents to show up. "How long was I out?" the brunet turned to his friend.
"Half an hour, you needed stitches," replied he and the Chinese thanked him. Just then his mother walked in, "Oh Lu," her eyes wandered around seeing if he was hurt anywhere. "I'm alright, Mom," Luhan replied and the lady pecked his head.
She turned to Sehun who stood up bowing at the lady, "Thank you so much. I'm really glad my baby has made a friend like you. I'll make sure to send him here whenever he has holidays, alright?"
Sehun and Luhan stared at the lady not understanding what she meant. Seeing the confusion she turned to her son, "Your dad said we could move back. Their company is sending someone else to Korea, sweetie."
Luhan looked at the the brunet who quickly looked away before apologizing and leaving the place.
He incessantly knocked on the door until it opened revealing Kyungsoo, "Oh, hey Hu--" Sehun hugged the male as tight as he could and the other widened his eyes when he felt his shoulders getting wet.
"How do I selfishly tell someone to stay?"
"Oh, you poor thing."
Two days later, Jongin and Kyungsoo watched Luhan clear out his locker. "We're gonna miss you, Lu," said Kyungsoo and hugged the Chinese male followed by Jongin. "I'll miss you guys too. So much," he said as his eyes watered.
The doe eyes wandered around trying to locate someone and the couple sighed, "He said he's sick and that he can't send you off today. Sorry, Lu." Luhan nodded his head with a pout despite trying to smile.
As the car took off, Luhan waved at the couple who waved back but the three failed to see Sehun who stood there starting at the car drive by with tears in his eyes, "Bye, Lu."
______
It was almost five months and Sehun had become more silent, mostly hanging out with himself and lost in daydream every now and then.
"I think Baek Hyung would approve you for his brother," suggested Jongin only for his boyfriend to elbow him at the ribs, "Taehyung started going out Jungkook, remember?" Jongin nodded and apologized to Sehun with a sheepish smile.
The brunet only nodded not really minding their words. "Wanna hang out with me after school? I'll be at the Parks and I'm sure my niece can make you laugh and smile." Sehun shook his head with a small smile politely declining the offer.
Hours passed and it was time to go home. Everyone was out the door while Sehun took his time to leave seeing it was raining out. He sighed looking at the black clouds, 'Wow, blue and grey.' With another long sigh, he walked into the rain with the umbrella over his head.
Just as he walked, he heard another pair of footsteps run to the school to get away from the rain. But it was the one perfume he had replaying in his head for the past few months. Lowering the umbrella, the brunet pulled the male back by him hand causing the shorter one to stumble and fall into his chest.
"Lu?"
The shorter looked up with eyes wide, "Hun." Sehun embraced the male as tight as he could and Luhan locked his arms on the other's nape. The two did not want to let go, they wished to freeze time so they could stay together even if it was just a second longer.
Once they pulled away, Luhan caressed the elder's cheek with the fondest look in the doe eyes that Sehun had fallen for. "How do you say this feeling I feel right now? As if a hundred butterflies set off in me fluttering around and my heart pounding so fast, I'm afraid it might burst open."
"Sarang."
Sehun caressed his soft pink lips and leaned closer, "Ppoppo." He said before smashing their lips together under the rain. Luhan kissed back pouring every feeling he had been feeling all that time.
"I love you, Lu."
"I love you, too, Hun."
