The next day and it's time for Lexi to find a job. She's the one who wants to and to be honest, she really wants out of this place. She's not enjoying being homeless. But we're kind of like Mikayla and Trad, always together. He does whatever Mikayla wants to and she does whatever he wants to. It's a balanced relationship. Trad is a lot like Lexi, they both gave up a lot just to be with the one that they love. It's quite sweet.

With Lexi out job hunting, I was hitting the streets with Sarah and Dan. We're going to Goodwill to try and find cheap stuff to bring back. I love Goodwill. I always know how to find the best deals. I mean, I didn't come from a rich family, so I had to budget everything. That also might explain my love for coupons. Anyways, at goodwill, being the child that I am, I went right back to the toys. I know I won't buy anything, but it's fun to look. I was just browsing, when I heard someone say my name. I just assumed it was Sarah, it sounded like a female. I looked over and saw Jinx with Tommy. She ran up and hugged me, she was so happy to see me. I smiled and so did Jinx.

"How's it going? You know, since you left." She asked.

"We're now homeless and my homeless friends and I were giving $20 to look for clothing." I shrugged.

"You're always welcomed back, you know?"

I nodded, "Uh, but what are you doing here?"

"I got a discount."

"Seriously?" Goodwill gives discounts? That's awesome.

"Yeah, five finger." She smirked.

I rolled my eyes, I should've seen that coming. I don't know why I didn't. I pulled out $5 and gave it to her, "Now you have five dollars."

"Edgar, you really don't have to. I don't want you to get in trouble."

"I don't want you to get arrested for stealing from charity. I'm okay with getting yelled at." I added.

I honesty wish I could give more, but it's the thought that counts, right? Just because I'm homeless, doesn't mean she should be stealing. Guess I'm just a good guy like that? I don't know. Sarah, Dan and I purchased out stuff and left. They both had money left over.

"So, what do you do with that money?" I questioned.

"We either save it for ourselves or give it to someone who needs it more." Sarah replied.

I only had fifty cents, I should probably keep it for myself. We got back to the the homeless spot and gave all of our stuff to Big Bud. He was pleased with what we got and I asked him if Lexi was back.

He shook his head, "She got a job."

"Really? That's awesome! Where?" I asked.

Big Bud looked concerned, something didn't sit with him right, "You should ask her."

I instantly felt my heart drop to my stomach. Whatever job Lexi has, it can't be good. But I would never judge her, she's my girlfriend and anything she gets will go towards us and my movie. I just hope she's okay. Hopefully I'm just blowing this out of proportion and she has a great job. Then again, Big Bud already hates her job and it has only been one day, barely. I just have to stop thinking about it and wait until she gets back. Until then, I guess I'll just hang out with Dan and Sarah.
