I'm actually very confused with everything. Did we take Tommy away from a good or bad home? Why is Andy going to kill us? Did Lexi get her revenge yet? Why is Jinx and Andy homeless, when their dad lives in the city? Jinx and I walked in, with Tommy in the middle of us. Andy was still sitting on the couch and had that same look. Tommy ran over to him, hugging him. Andy did not look amused, in fact he did look really pissed off.
"What the fuck is this?" He questioned.
Jinx looked down, I think she was scared. I never thought she would ever get scared. Andy stood up, pushing Tommy off. I felt as if he didn't like Tommy. Like they weren't related in any way. Maggie, Cassidy and Lexi stopped everything that they were doing, just because they were curious and scared. I don't think Maggie and Cassidy have ever seen Andy like this. I was moving over to Lexi, when he stopped me.
"Edgar. Did she make you apart of this plan?"
I looked at Jinx, who seemed to be in enough trouble already. However, I'm a bad liar. I took a deep breath and just focused, "No. Jinx said something about Tommy living in a Hell hole and I said we had to get him. Jinx agreed to it."
He walked up to me and I was trying to hold back my tears and sweat. I'm so nervous about this. He just stared at my face for a very long time, then looked at Jinx, "This true?"
She looked at me, to make sure it was alright. I nodded, "Yeah. I just didn't want Tommy to be living in a place like that."
"Everyone go upstairs, even you Tommy." Andy said. This couldn't be good.
I brought Tommy upstairs and everyone else followed, we went into my room. Andy began to yell and Jinx would yell back. Shutting the door was no use. I walked out of the room and sat at the top of the stair case, just to listen.
"He chose to stay!" Andy shouted.
"He was not happy there! It looked like shit!" Jinx shouted back.
"It doesn't matter, Tommy had his chance."
"No, he was only two when we left. He could barely speak," Jinx lowered her voice, "Andy, I know you don't like him, or anyone who stayed behind, but now one is in a better home."
"He can stay, but he's not my problem. You deal with him." I heard Andy walking towards the stairs, I hurried back to the room.
Tommy looked at me, curious, waiting for an answer.
"You can stay, but Andy isn't happy."
Tommy smiled, you could definitely see it in his eyes that he hated that home. I guess all of my questions are answered. but the revenge. I looked at Lexi, who just smiled at me. She was so blessed to have me. However, Cassidy rolled her eyes and looked angry. I'm not sure if she did the revenge or what it even is. Just as I was about to ask Lexi, Andy came in.
"Edgar, I would like to talk to you." Andy said.
I nodded, I knew this was going to happen. I followed him downstairs and we sat on the couch. I sat next to Jinx, who looked like she was ready to cry. Maybe I don't agree with how Andy treated the situation, but I haven't been here long enough to actually know everyone.
"Jinx said that you lied, it was all her idea, you had no idea."
I looked at her, "No, it's not true."
"I feel guilty enough, just stop lying."
I shook my head, "I'm not lying. I'm a bad lair, you would be able to tell anyways." I looked at Andy, expecting him to catch me in a lie.
"Okay, I see how you would feel guilty Jinx. It's nice of you to sacrifice yourself, but this guy is a horrible liar." He believed me? What? When did Hell freeze over?
She nodded, then hugged me, tightly. I guess she has earned more respect for me. She's definitely not that punk girl who could barely look at me, when I first met her. No, she cares strongly about stuff. I guess, I see a little bit of myself in her. Andy was done with the conversation and decided to go upstairs.
"Why did you lie for me? Don't you have morals or whatever?" She asked.
"I do, but sometimes I know the right way is also the wrong way." I think that explains everything well. Really does make me feel better about all the stuff I did.
