The four listen to Samuel's directions down a dark alley a few blocks away from Cross Academy.

Alexis: "(mumbling) I just hope I don't get robbed."

Ike: "I don't find that likely."

Shoma: "I-Is this really w-where we should go?"

Amanda: "This is kind of creepy..."

The walls are covered in patches of what they hope is red paint.

Chloe: "T-This is a lot creepier compared to last time we were here."

Amanda: "So before you died you all lived here?"

Lucas: "Yeah, here in Niklle."

They all walk up to a staircase leading down.

Samuel: "Bingo!"

Shoma: "(shakily) D-Down t-t-there?"

Amanda pats Shoma on the back.

Amanda: "Just relax. We won't be ambushed. (in head) I hope."

Alexis: "(depressingly) Can we go? This alleyway doesn't help lighten the mood."

Bell: "(annoyed) I agree! The sooner we're out of this alley, the sooner Shoma can stop pissing himself!"

Ike: "Watch yourself Bell."

Shoma: "Why is that so true?"

Lucas: "Try not to put yourself down."

The four walk down the dark stairway and open the door.

Alexis: "H-Hello?"

They hear loud bang behind the counter.

???: "Who's there?"

A man around his sixties turns on a light, revealing a wide assortment of pendants, bracelets, and stones.

Man: "What are a bunch of kids and a dog doing in a place like this?"

Samuel: "Been a while Zeke."

Zeke: "Well I'll be dammed, Samuel Riate had soul bonded with a girl."

Alexis: "(puzzled) I thought only those who have soul bonded can hear a bonding partner?"

Zeke: "I'm special little lady."

Zeke pulls out a pocket watch with a stone set in the middle.

Zeke: "This stone has excess energy from his grandfather's soul bond. As long as I have this I can hear all of you."

Lucas: "Zeke here is an expert in strengthening bonds."

Zeke points to the stones on his shelves.

Zeke: "I have stones that increase the energy in a bond for all seven bond types."

Amanda: "Bond types?"

Zeke: "Take it away Lucas."

Lucas: "When a soul bond occurs, a different light appears in the process. Shoma and I had a crimson light so we have a Flame bond."

Amanda: "Chloe and I had a white light."

Chloe: "We had a Light bond."

Samuel: "We had an emerald light, so we're a Wind bond."

Bell: "Us two over here had an azure light, so we had a Frost bond."

Ike: "I heard there were seven, so what are the other three Zeke?"

Shoma: "Y-Yeah that sounds h-helpful..."

Zeke: "(spacing) A cat and a dog soul bonding. Oh! The other three are Shadow, Psych, and Storm."

Zeke sees the coin in Alexis's hand.

Zeke: "A Soul Coin huh? Let me see that."

Alexis gives the coin to Zeke without a second thought.

Zeke: "A Virtue Coin?! You kids must've been lucky to beat one!"

Ike: "It was the others holding Charity off while I froze her energy flow, allowing us to shatter her bit by bit."

Zeke: "(intrigued) That must've been some teamwork, but if the Virtues are being sent after a bunch of kids, a dog, and a cat, God must want your souls in particular."

Alexis: "(depressingly) Charity said that he wants mine and Samuel's in particular."

Zeke points to the pendants on the wall.

Zeke: "You kids are going to have to bump up those defenses. This coin can handle you four with a protection pendant each."

The four each grab a small necklace and puts them on.

Amanda: "So these things are supposed to help protect us from damage?"

Zeke: "Just note that I'm going to require cash from here on out."

Bell: "Well you need to live off something."

Zeke: "However, you kids also need some medicine to quickly heal wounds. My sister at the pharmacy can help you kids with that."

Shoma: "T-Thank you Z-Zeke."

Lucas: "I know I've been silent for a while, but deep breaths Shoma."

Shoma steadies his breathing.

Zeke: "So, did Nia make it out?"

Lucas: "She was the first. Still haven't met up though..."

Zeke: "She and her partner haven't shown up, but I'll let her know about you guys if she does."

The four begin to leave.

Ike: "We'll go acquire some medicine."

Bell: "And food!"

Chloe: "T-Thank you Zeke."

Zeke: "Tell my sister Zeke sent ya!"

The four leave.

Zeke: "They may have a shot at beating the unbeatable..."
