Alexis wakes up the next morning and finds Ike standing on her.

Alexis: "(startled) Jesus fucking Christ!"

Samuel: "(drowsy) Huh?"

Ike: "Bell won't shut up about food."

Bell: "(groaning) Food..."

Alexis gets out of bed.

Alexis: "I've got some snacks riiiight here..."

Jade pulls out a bag of chips from a desk.

Alexis: "I'll buy some dog food after school."

Ike: "I'll last."

Bell: "Fooood!!!"

Ike scarfs down the chips in a heartbeat.

Samuel: "We should get dressed. Shoma and Amanda shouldn't be kept waiting."

Alexis gets dressed.

Alexis: "(puzzled) How did Shoma die?"

Alexis grabs the doorknob.

Samuel: "Ask him."

Alexis: "Easy for you to say..."

Ike: "We'll meet up after your classes are finished. Just leave the door open a crack and I'll be fine."

Samuel: "Okay, if you say so..."

Alexis leaves the door open a crack and heads over to meet the others in the main hallway.

Amanda: "You're later than usual."

Chloe: "Y-Yeah what took you so long?"

Alexis: "(smiling) You'll see after school."

Lucas: "Should we be scared?"

Shoma: "(shakily) I-I-I-I agree with Lucas, I'm scared."

Lucas: "Breathe Shoma..."

Shoma steadies' his breathing.

Shoma: "O-Okay."

Bell rings...

Alexis: "I want to ask you something after class Shoma."

Shoma: "A-Alright..."

The days goes by as usual until the final bell rings.

Ike: "See, easy."

Amanda: "(confused) Why is that dog talking?"

Shoma: "Y-Yeah, I agree. T-This kinda freaks me out..."

Bell: "Soul adapted, I'm your cat, any questions?"

Chloe: "I get it."

Lucas: "I get it Bell."

Bell: "Jeez you realize quickly."

Alexis: "Enough about Ike and Bell, I want to ask my question Shoma."

Shoma: "W-What is it?"

Alexis: "This is going to be a little dark, but how did you die?"

Shoma freezes after those words.

Lucas: "Shoma they died just like you, you can tell them."

Alexis: "If it makes you feel any better, I died in an explosive car crash caused by Soldiers."

Amanda: "I got stabbed in the back by a Soldier."

Ike: "We were road kill."

Shoma loosens up.

Shoma: "(shakily) D-D-Did you hear about the massive subway explosion in Japan? It went viral..."

Alexis's and Amanda's jaws drop.

Both: "You died in that subway accident?!"

Lucas: "Keep it down."

Shoma thinks back to that day in a flashback...

Shoma: "I was just on the subway on my way home from school as usual..."

Flashback to Shoma's death...

Shoma: "(in head) The subway is extra cramped today..."

Message boards announce the next stop...

Shoma: "(in head) The teachers were brutal too..."

A loud BANG is heard in the back.

Shoma: "(panicking) What was that?!"

Several more bangs are heard in the front as the subway speeds up.

Shoma: "(panicking) I-Is the train going out of control?!"

The subway suddenly stops in a fiery explosion...

Shoma: "(panicking) W-W-We're..."

The explosion envelopes the subway car.

Shoma: "(burning) Fuck, fuck..."

The fires quickly burn out on Shoma's arm.

Shoma: "(gagging) Oh fuck..."

Shoma sees several people who weren't so lucky and were burnt to a crisp in an instant, and others covered in burn marks.

Shoma: "(sweating) Wh-What caused that?!!!!"

Shoma hears a cracking sound above his head.

Shoma: "What's that..."

The ceiling caves in, sends several tons of cement CRASHING onto the survivors...

Shoma: "(in head) It's over..."

Shoma gets squashed by a 2 ton block.

Shoma: "(weakly) What caused this?"

Shoma dies from the block shattering his weak ribcage and his heart.

Shoma: "(drowsy) Am I dead now?"

Shoma wakes up in the grey, empty space, but...

Samuel: "Got crushed by a boulder..."

Chloe: "Looks like out of everyone, Amanda had it easiest."

Amanda: "Hey!"

Lucas: "I have a feeling you know how me and Shoma met each other..."

Back to dead Shoma...

Shoma: "(echoes) Hello? Anybody?"

A young man not much older than Shoma appears to be running from Souldiers.

???: "(panting) Hey kid!"

Shoma: "(panicking) Wh-What?"

Lucas: "My name is Lucas. Also you don't want to go there."

Shoma sees the Soldiers move closer.

Lucas: "Just listen to me kid, grab my hand."

Lucas grabs Shoma's hand.

Shoma: "What n-now?"

A crimson light envelopes the two.

Lucas: "We're getting a second chance!"

Shoma wakes up under the block.

Shoma: "W-Was I dead?!"

Lucas: "I forgot to ask your name."

Shoma panics.

Lucas: "Our leftover soul energy brought us to your corpse. I'm inside you."

Shoma: "(freaking out) H-H-How d-does any of t-this make sense???!!!"

Lucas: "Zero Fiction!"

Time stops...

Shoma: "Huh?!"

A katana appears in Shoma's hand.

Lucas: "Just swing at the block on you."

Shoma swings the sword and the block disinagrates from a magma like substance.

Lucas: "Looks like a Flame bond took place."

Soldiers surround Shoma.

Shoma: "(darkly) You bastards killed hundreds."

Lucas: "Uhh..."

Shoma thrusts the katana through a Soldier.

Lucas: "(shocked) Looks like these Soldiers are what caused the whole wreck."

Shoma: "(darkly) I'll get rid of all of you bastards!"

Shoma slashes the katana, sending a wave of magma that disinagrates the Soldiers upon contact.

Lucas: "I wouldn't have realized that you could be so dark, but I don't want my very existence erased. Just keep going!"

Shoma slices through more Soldiers like butter.

Shoma: "DISAPPEAR!!!!"

Shoma slices through the last Soldier as time resumes...

Shoma: "H-Huh?!"

Lucas: "We were fighting in a realm where the soul roams free, Zero Fiction."

Shoma: "Is there more?"

Lucas: "And they'll come after us nonstop."

Present time...

Shoma: "Rescue teams came in and saved me and the few survivors."

Samuel: "Ouch!"

Chloe: "At least Lucas saved you."

Lucas: "I gave Shoma the gist of his situation on the way to his home after the hospital checked him."

Alexis: "(darkly) So it appears the Soldiers are behind every death..."

Samuel: "(in head) So Soldiers are what started the collapse of my family..."

Amanda: "That was depressing..."

Shoma: "I'm going to take down those Soldiers and avenge the billions who lost the very memories of their existence."

Amanda: "(determined) I'm with you Shoma! All this loss and heartbreak is for someone to just become more powerful. Not to mention the fact that anyone who knew them forget they were a thing!"

Chloe: "Y-Yeah! Once we're gone, there is no one more chance!"

Samuel: "You in Alexis?"

Alexis: "Yeah..."

Ike was taking a nap and wakes up.

Ike: "(rubbing eyes) will assist as well."

A massive gust of wind nearly sends the four flying.

Bell: "(yawning) What the hell?"

???: "My lord requests the soul bond between Heartfield and Riate."

Samuel: "This isn't good..."

Ike "Zero Fiction!"
