Alexis meets Amanda at the usual spot.

Alexis: "(depressed) Hey."

Samuel: "You don't need to sound like a downer every morning."

Amanda: "I agree with Sam, lighten up."

Chloe: "Yeah..."

Alexis: "(calmly) I could try."

The friends enter their first period class a couple minutes later.

Teacher: "As I am sure many of you are aware, we have a new student."

A young boy wearing a black baseball cap steps into the room.

Teacher: "Why don't you introduce yourself?"

Boy: "(shakily) H-H-Hi, my n-name's Shoma, Shoma Motegi."

???: "Just relax Shoma, you're not going to spontaneously combust."

Alexis: "(in head) He did it!"

Samuel\ Chloe: "Lucas!"

Shoma: "(in head) More voices?"

Lucas: "Thank god you two escaped!"

Amanda: "(in head) So there's three people who did it in this room?"

Lucas: "Just take a seat Shoma. I'll explain as class goes on."

Chloe: "(relieved) We have a chance to keep another few days."

Samuel: "And more to come!"

Teacher: "There's a spot open for you right behind Heartfield in the corner Mr. Motegi."

Shoma walks to a seat in the corner of the room behind Alexis.

Alexis: "(whispering) Meet us in front of the school."

Samuel: "Me and Chloe will be there Lucas."

Lucas: "We may want to hear them out Shoma."

Shoma: "(whispering) I-I'll be in front of the school."

Fast forward several hours...

Lucas: "Calm down Shoma. These two are soul bonded with my younger brother and sister."

Shoma: "I-I-I'm t-trying!"

Shoma walks to the school entrance shakily.

Amanda: "Hey... Shoma right?"

Shoma: "(jumps up) Y-Y-Yeah."

Lucas: "Just breathe, inhale..."

Shoma inhales a bunch of air.

Lucas: "... exhale."

Shoma exhales.

Alexis: "(depressed) You alright?"

Shoma: "I-I'm fine."

Amanda: "We know that you soul bonded."

Lucas: "(sarcastic) Gee, what gave it away?"

Samuel: "We should work together to hold off the Souldiers!"

Chloe: "With three in the same area, we can fight another day!"

Shoma: "(sweating) S-Someone like me hanging out with g-g-g-girls?!"

Samuel: "Calm the fuck down man. If all six of us work together, we can ensure the safety of our lives."

Shoma: "(calming down) I-I guess..."

They hear a strange sound outside.

Shoma: "T-That can't be good."

The three rush outside to find several students screaming and a few on the ground... decapitated and with the blood continuing to gush out.

Shoma: "(gagging) Oh fuck!"

A faint golden light hovers around the students.

All 6: "Zero Fiction!"

Time stops...

Samuel: "On it!"

Alexis's spear appears in her hand.

Chloe: "Alrighty!"

Amanda's pistols enter her hands.

Lucas: "Wind and Light souls... let's do this!"

An orange katana dripping some orange liquid appears in Shoma's hand.

Shoma: "Let's go!"

Samuel: "Looks like you got your screws tightened."

Lucas: "He's a lot more confident with a katana in hand."

Chloe: "What's that liquid."

Shoma: "Pure molten magma."

Lucas: "I've got a Fire class soul."

Several Souldiers lunge for Shoma.

Shoma\ Lucas: "Magma Striker."

A slice sends a wave of magma that begins to disintegrate the Souldiers.

Amanda: "Try not to get some on me!"

A few Souldiers attempt to impale Amanda.

Amanda: "Not again."

Amanda begins to charge light.

Amanda\ Chloe: "Holy Bullet!"

A large bullet of light goes right through all the Soldiers.

Lucas: "(impressed) Not bad!"

A giant Souldier goes for Alexis.

Shoma\ Amanda: "Watch out!"

Cherry blossom petals begin to swirl around Alexis.

Alexis\ Samuel: "Petal Storm!"

The petals slice and dice through the Soldier like butter.

Other 4: "That shit was brutal."

A few sneaky soldiers attempt a back attack.

Shoma: "Die."

Shoma takes them out in a single strike.

Lucas: "These Soldiers don't stand a chance against three soul bonders!"

Chloe: "Don't let that go to your head."

Amanda looks over to the two dead students.

Amanda: "The families won't take this too happily."

Samuel: "All because a god uses the souls of the passed to fuel something unnecessary."

Lucas: "I'm sorry that they don't have the potential."

Time resumes...

Students: "No!"

Shoma: "I-I should get home."

Amanda: "Crap! My mom needs help with dinner tonight!"

Amanda and Shoma dart off.

Samuel: "We should get home too."

Alexis: "(depressed) Don't have anything better to do."

Alexis slowly walks home in the cloudy night.

???: "Looks like we found who you're looking for Bell."

A German Shepherd was watching and a faint cat figure appears behind him.

Bell: "Alright Ike, we'll follow that girl."

Ike: "You know we're partners Bell."

Bell: "Sorry. I'm used to being in control."

Ike: "It's fine. I know we bonded pretty recently."

Bell: "Let's just go."

The dog follows Alexis.
