Two weeks later everyone got the best they could. Zeke had created the best gear he ever created and Camilla gave them her latest and greatest medicine ever made, leaving only one thing, defeat Hymn...

In front of Souls and Trinkets...

Nia: "You've got those Soul Coins still?"

Zeke holds a small box containing the seven coins.

Zeke: "These bad boys are what allowed me to create those special charms. Too bad I can't do anything else for you all."

Ike: "Thankfully this is all you need to do."

Zeke: "Just try to win. Those memories aren't truly replaceable."

They begin to walk towards the pharmacy express their gratitude for Camilla.

Grace: "We can do this!"

The group arrives in front of the pharmacy where Camilla is waiting.

Camilla: "So you're going?"

Tyler: "This is our only chance."

Camilla: "Just promise me you will come back alive."

The group readies for Zero Fiction.

Lucas: "It's a promise."

Everyone: "Zero Fiction!"

Time stops as they arrive at the golden light.

Alexis: "(determined) He's waiting for us."

Alexis begins to climb the stairs.

Chloe: "No going back."

Everyone follows Alexis into the light.

Hymn: "Here you are."

Hymn sits atop a mountain of Soldiers.

Shoma: "(gagging) Wh-What?!"

Hymn: "These are the hundreds that failed me and returned here. They're still as alive as you can get here."

Hymn jumps down as the Soldiers breathe a sigh of relief.

Samuel: "(pissed) Those were once people..."

Hymn: "(smirking) Once."

Chloe: "(pissed) What changed you?!"

Ike: "We know that you weren't always like this."

Hymn: "(laughing) Verse had shown me what we were capable of!"

Nia: "Verse?"

Hymn assumes a fighting stance.

Hymn: "(laughing) I did it once, and enjoyed what transpired!"

Faith: "But who is Verse?"

Marcel: "(afraid) You bastard!"

Hymn begins radiating so much energy, they can feel it.

Hymn: "Verse and I are equals, so our fights will go on and on for millions of years and no winner would come out."

Hymn appears behind Alexis.

Hymn: "The souls of Alexis Heartfield and Samuel Riate are two unique souls that would place myself far beyond Verse."

Alexis jumps away.

Alexis: "(afraid) Why do you want us?!"

Hymn: "A soul is created when a drop of my 'blood,' falls to a newborn, but yours souls had... a little more blood."

Ethan: "So their souls have more energy?"

Hymn appears behind Nia.

Hymn: "Precisely."

Hymn returns to his original spot.

Hymn: "(excited) Now for you all to give me a fight to remember till the end of time!"

Shoma: "Then let's go!"

As Shoma sends some of his magma towards Hymn, Nia tosses her chakrams.

Nia: "We'll keep going against the odds!"

They're about to make contact.

Hymn: "(disappointed) Please tell me this is just a warm up."

Hymn blows them away with the flick of a finger.

Hymn: "(disappointed) I do hope that you're not quite serious yet."

Hymn appears in the middle of the group.

Grace: "(determined) We're going to win!"

Grace sends an arrow straight for Hymn's head.

Hymn: "(sighing) Did I really get my hopes up too high?"

Energy explodes from underneath Hymn that knocks the arrow of course, and everyone on their asses.

Tyler: "(afraid) H-He didn't even have to move..."

Marcel kicks his blitz with more force than ever.

Marcel: "(determined) We're not giving up! Memories are on the line!"

Hymn bounces it back to Marcel with three times as much force.

Alexis: "Here we go!"

Alexis stabs Hymn in the back.

Hymn: "(laughing) Do you honestly think that is going to hurt me?"

Ike slashes Hymn's legs.

Bell: "How about that?!"

Hymn's clothes show no sign of damage as he walks the stab off.

Hymn: "My body is composed of the universe. (sighing) Guess I should just end this charade."

Hymn swings his arm and causes the group to go flying.

Hymn: "(sighing) Now for something fatal."

Hymn appears behind everyone at light speed and sends his hand right through everyone's chest.

Faith: "No!"

Everyone collapses and tries to slow the blood loss.

Hymn: "You got my hopes up for nothing. What a shame."

Shoma: "(in pain) He's in a league we never dreamed was possible!"

Samuel: "Don't give up Alexis!"

Almost everyone is unable to stand, their blood is spilling all over the place, but Alexis continues to stand despite her injuries.

Amanda: "(coughing blood) What're you doing Alexis?!"

Alexis: "(determined) Doing what we set off to do!"

Hymn: "(intrigued) So one of you still wants a beating? I'll just finish this."

Alexis stands firm.

Alexis: "At first all I wanted was death, to be free of the boring everyday life that would inevitably end, but after I learned the truth, I wanted to save those who have died with no one remembering a single thing.

Alexis begins o cry.

Alexis: "(crying) Samuel gave me this chance, and I intend to do this!"

Samuel: "Now we're talking!"

Everyone feels newfound resolve.

Nia: "(in pain) She's right..."

Nia and Shoma stand up.

Lucas: "We aren't going to let one attack cripple us and lose the chance to save anyone!"

Ike and Marcel stand up.

Ike: "I was just a normal dog, but my death allowed me to assist everyone and develop a more personal bond with them."

Marcel: "(in pain) I got to see my best friend..."

Tyler: "And help him on his journey."

Grace and Amanda stand up.

Grace: "(in pain) Lucas is what kept me going, and I won't lose here with him by my side!"

Amanda: "(in pain) Seems our roles are reversed Alexis."

Faint light surrounds each of them, all with a color that represents their bond type.

Hymn: "(smirking) Maybe you can stand on your own two feet next to me."

The true finale is about to begin.
