Narrator: "Death, a fate some fear, but others accept."

A red orb of light is drifting in a grey, cloudy realm.

Red Orb: "Dammit, dammit, dammit!"

Narrator: "The two beings who governed death, Hymn and Verse, had been defeated by a group of seven mortals who had merged their souls with others with a process known as, 'Soul Bonding.'"

A gold orb moves towards the red orb.

Gold Orb: "You failed to beat your creations Verse?"

Verse: "Hymn..."

Narrator: "They cannot die, but the heroes never knew."

Hymn: "Shall we go for a round two?"

Verse: "Hey man, first off, I got them to kill you, second, we don't mix."

Hymn: "But why not put our differences aside and finish off a common enemy?"

Hymn gets closer.

Verse: "(sighing) Two years later and what I want to do doesn't change."

Verse gets a little closer.

Verse: "(in head) And little does he know that I'm the one who did this to him."

The lights begin to merge.

Hymn: "I believe we require a new name..."

The light turns azure.

Verse: "I was thinking the same thing..."

The orbs merge in the azure light.

Requiem: "Requiem."

The bright light envelopes the area, before fading and revealing a being with a body made of the night sky, slightly torn, dark grey cloak, glowing, blue eyes, and dark grey shirt, pants, boots, and an assortment of chains and zippers.

Requiem: "Now for the new seven..."

Blue light is produced by their body.

Meanwhile...

An old man notices two sets of seven, special coins vanish into thin air.

Old Man: "That's not good..."

He's currently packing a bag.

Old Man: "Good thing I'm heading Alexis's way..."

Meanwhile...

The coins appear in front of Requiem as they begin to merge with one from the other set.

Requiem: "Grartity, Primility, Endness, Dillith, Wratience, Chast, and Temptony."

Seven, genderless beings are formed in the process.

Requiem: "You are servants of us, Requiem, you Seven Cursed Hybrids."

Hybrids: "(blankly) Yes, Master Requiem..."
