Two hours later...

Bell: "(exhausted) Great..."

The group has sat down at the edge of a large workbench.

Nia: "(exhausted) And we... still can't leave..."

They've kept trying to escape, but they're like prisoners here.

Marcel: "(exhausted) We just need a minute."

They begin to fall asleep, one by one.

Meanwhile...

Verse: "Aw man! My connection won't do anything for that..."

Verse begins to smile.

Verse: "At least not that connection."

Meanwhile...

Grace: "(groggy) What's that?"

The entire area begins to shake.

Ethan: "(groggy) I think Verse wants us to keep going."

They get up as the rumbling stops.

Amanda: "(groggy) Anyone else want to give Verse the middle finger when we see him?"

Everyone raises their hands.

Ike: "(shaking it off) I wish I could."

They stumble into the lab area, the only place they haven't been.

Samuel: "(hating himself) Can we make this quick?"

They step into a large testing area.

???: "I'm only here to see if you're good enough."

A woman walks towards them from the other side of the room.

Alexis: "(sleepy) Wrath."

Wrath pulls out her chainsaw.

Wrath: "Show me how much you can do, even when you're on your last legs."

Shoma: "(exhausted) Verse's orders?"

Wrath revs up her chainsaw.

Wrath: "Yes."

Wrath digs her weapon to the ground before riding it like a skateboard.

Chloe: "(awkwardly) At least she's creative."

Shoma digs his sword into the ground as magma pours from the blade.

Lucas: "Ike!"

Ike freezes the magma as it approaches Nia, the target of Wrath's attack.

Nia: "Thanks!"

It halts Wrath's progress as Grace and Amanda sends some bullets and arrows into her sides.

Faith: "Now!"

Nia tosses her chakrams as Alexis and Marcel approach from behind.

Wrath: "Not bad, but is it good enough?"

Wrath yanks out her chainsaw as she locks blades with Alexis.

Alexis: "Guys!"

The chakrams lodge themselves into Wrath's back as Marcel gets behind Wrath, kicks his ball, and causes them to go deeper.

Marcel: "Goal!"

Wrath: "(in pain) Is this good enough, Master Verse?"

Meanwhile...

Verse: "(thinking) Eh, just a little more will do."

Meanwhile...

Wrath: "As you-"

Shoma and Ike pincer attack into her sides.

Meanwhile...

Verse: "Okay, now you're good."

Meanwhile...

Wrath: "(shedding a tear) My purpose is complete."

Grace and Amanda land the fatal blow.

Alexis: "Alright!"

A Soul Coin forms from her remains.

Tyler: "Can we go now?!"

The group finally exits Zero Fiction, only to find it to be nighttime.

Marcel: "Uh..."

Bell: "Tomorrow?"

Ethan: "Tomorrow sounds good."

Everyone slowly returns home for the night...
