Two weeks later...

Nia: "Seriously?"

The three are still acting like zombies while they stand inside Zeke's.

Faith: "This been going for a while?"

Bell: "(awkwardly) Yes."

Grace and Nia shake everyone back to reality.

Ethan: "We've got a job to do guys!"

They finish with a pinch on the cheek.

Samuel: "Oh yeah."

Ike: "(relieved) The sooner Verse is finished, the sooner you can sleep."

The group enters Zero Fiction...

Meanwhile...

??? 1: "(stretching) Thank god I can finally walk again."

A young man with a darker skin tone, short, black hair, red and white T-shirt, dark grey gym shorts, black sneakers, and white socks that go halfway up his shins has just walked outside of the hospital.

??? 2: "Yeah and you've barely kept in contact with the others and focused on your schoolwork for once Marcel.

A ghost of a young male stands beside Marcel.

Marcel: "Hey Tyler, you do know that I left the others a message that I'd be ready by the next dive."

Tyler: "Yeah, but they've probably dived by now."

Awkward moment of silence...

Marcel: "(panicking) Crap!"

Marcel bolts away.

Meanwhile...

The group find themselves inside the middle of a secretary's office, bit they're about the size of ants.

Grace: "I hope this affects everyone here."

Airborne Soldiers at their size dive towards them from above.

Amanda: "I hope you like being right!"

They initiate combat.

Meanwhile...

Verse: "(thinking) No, no, no that's not right..."

Verse is trying to think of anything.

Verse: "I really can't seem to get myself in the groove today."

Verse is holding a small light in his hand.

Verse: "(sighing) It's no fun having something that's yours be stripped away by your own hand..."

The light merges with Verse.

One hour later...

Marcel: "Great."

Marcel is at Zeke's.

Zeke: "They aren't back yet."

Tyler: "Good, then we'll just catch up."

He dives in...

Meanwhile...

Shoma: "(struggling) I can't get over this!"

The group is struggling to get over a novel.

Alexis: "Take my hand!"

Alexis gets Shoma on top.

Lucas: "Thanks."

They're just about at a window.

Chloe: "End of the road..."

A man is sitting on top of a window pane.

Man: "I can see your courage to keep going."

Suddenly, the desk breaks apart, sending everyone back to square one.

Alexis: "(falling) Help!"

Envy: "I am Envy, the fifth Sin."

Everyone luckily hits a softer spot of the floor to help cushion the fall.

Ike: "(in pain) All of that for nothing."

They take a second to get back on their feet.

Envy: "Tenacity, justice, fear..."

Envy jumps down in front of the group.

Envy: "My hand is where it-"

Envy hesitates for a moment.

Envy: "(hesitant) - ends."

The group is somewhat confused.

Nia: "Why did you hesitate?"

Envy draws a sniper rifle.

Envy: "(darkly) None of your concern."

Envy fires a bullet into Ike's side.

Ike: "(staggering) I'm fine!"

Nia tosses her chakrams as Grace fires an arrow and Amanda sends four bullets.

Envy: "Easy."

Envy dodges all but the bullets.

Chloe: "Bullseye!"

Envy: "(staggering) Lucky shot."

Ike, Alexis, and Shoma have formed a triangle around Envy.

Lucas: "Now!"

They lunge forward.

Envy: "You won't get me that easily."

Envy dodges last second, using their attacks on each other.

Samuel: "Great."

They readjust themselves.

Envy: "You can't hope to-"

???: "Started the party without me?"

A metal ball producing electricity hits Envy in the gut.

Faith: "Marcel!"

The ball flies behind them, revealing Marcel catching it.

Tyler: "Miss us?"

Amanda: "Now's not the time for jokes!"

Bell: "We've got a Sin to beat!"

Marcel jogs up to join the others.

Marcel: "I like the sound of that!"

Envy is stumbling in place.

Envy: "Let's just try and see you beat me! One person won't make a difference!"

Marcel kicks the ball towards some debris.

Grace: "Actually..."

The ball ricochets across the debris.

Ethan: "... he's a game changer."

The ball bounces directly into Envy's spine.

Envy: "(paralyzed) N-No!"

Shoma, Ike, and Alexis attempt round two.

Alexis: "You're done!"

Direct contact.

Envy: "(in head) Master Verse is waiting..."

He leaves his Soul Coin behind as everything begins to collapse.

Tyler: "Such a shame we just got here..."

Alexis grabs the coin.

Shoma: "L-Let's go!"

They exit Zero Fiction...
