Moonlight Silver- Chapter 1

I watched idly as Daniel and Tyler apprised each other. Being back here didn't stir any emotions in me. I'd long made my peace with what happened here. I'd moved on. Bettered myself.

Kali is one of the most powerful and most influential alphas. The fact that she's a female alpha only makes her even more of a force to be reckoned with because strong female alphas are few in this world of ours. She's a role model to most people. To me, she's a giant pain in the ass. She has taken it upon herself to be the voice of my subconscious and now she thinks I should make peace with my past. That's why I'm here right now. Sure my pack and I always go to help other packs under attack from hunters. It's kind of what we do. We're pretty much the strongest pack there is. We help other packs that are under attack and then we also train them so they can defend themselves. Usually we decide which pack needs help but every once in a while, the Council which consists of, in my opinion, old washed out alphas with the exception of Kali of course, decides. As much as she annoys me, she's cool and... not washed out. She's like... not a mother. More like an eccentric aunt. It was her idea that my pack should come and help my former pack. I know she has good intentions but I'm not exactly sold on the idea. And you'll soon understand why. I may not be holding any grudges against this pack but this is going to be uncomfortable for a lot of people. But anyway as soon as Kali suggested the idea, all the old geezers on the Council agreed. They kind of fear her.

And well here I am now. At least I had a day to prepare myself for the reunion with my former pack. It's going to be a real shocker for them when they realize slutty defenseless and abused Bianca is now the alpha feared of most pack and the second strongest female alpha. Second to Kali of course.

I made my way to where Daniel and Tyler were now having a conversation. Sapphire stayed by my side as members of my pack parted to give us way. I could hear what they were saying thanks to werewolf hearing.

Tyler, the alpha of my old pack and my personal tormentor mistook Daniel, my beta for the alpha of my pack.

"I'm not the alpha. I'm the beta. Daniel Fulton." He corrected.

"Oh. So where is your alpha?" Tyler asked. Sapphire giggled. I rolled my eyes.

The chauvinistic world we live in. Of course he'd jump to the conclusion that the strong male is the alpha.

"On the way." Daniel snapped. All the members of my pack knew that this was my former pack. I glossed over what happened. We were a really small pack. More like a family. We were all really close. Our size is what made it easy for us to hop from town to town helping weaker packs. It also made it easy for us to train hard. Only Sapphire and Daniel knew the details of my life before. He was obviously still holding a grudge on my behalf.

"Well, this is my luna. Tia." He said, baffled by Daniel's hostility. Surprisingly I didn't feel even a twinge as Tyler introduced her as the Luna even though it should've been me. Sapphire and Daniel obviously didn't possess my indifference. I could feel the anger pouring off them in waves. I better go before Daniel does something rash. But first...

"Sapphire, calm down. It's fine. I really don't mind. At all. Surprisingly. And neither should you. They deserve each other." I said soothingly.

"How can you be so calm about this?" She growled.

"Easy!" I grinned. "Because I deserve better."

She reluctantly smiled. Tia was beaming at Daniel. Openly admiring him. I rolled my eyes. She will never change. I wonder if she still hops from bed to bed. Her and Tyler really deserve each other.

"Where's your Luna?" She drawled, giving Daniel a suggestive smile.

'We don't have a Luna." He bit out, clenching his fist. Even sweet Sapphire looked ready to punch Tia in the face. I tugged Sapp along. We are here to protect them and teach them to do the same for themselves. We were not here to maim them and I could sense that Daniel was a few seconds away from doing just that.

"Why?" Tyler asked.

"Our alpha is a female." Sapphire's musical voice stated proudly as we stepped out of the crowd and into the tiny circle where Daniel, Tyler, Adrian his beta and Tia stood.

As all their eyes focused on Sapp who'd spoken and then moved to me, apparently the alpha.

I watched as recognition dawn on their features followed by other emotions I paid no attention to. I knew the only reason they recognized me was because of my eyes. Back when I was here, I was rarely ever dressed as myself. My hair was dyed dishwater blonde and I was usually covered in poorly applied cheap makeup. But my eyes has always being... silver. That's the only way to describe it. It was a striking silver colour. Bree tried to force this dorky glasses on me but it didn't work out. They gave me pounding headaches and since she was cheap, she didn't want to pay for me if I yours truly fell sick so she dropped the glasses issue.

"Is this some joke?" Tyler snapped, when he finally got his voice back. I would've ignored him but he's the alpha and I don't want to undermine him in front of his pack so...

"No Tyler. This is not a joke." My knowledge of his name assured them of their suspicions and that I was indeed slutty defenseless Bianca.
