"Yeah I mean it was just me having this crazy crush on him." She said, a pity smile curving her lips.
"Did you love him?" I asked in a whisper. She lowered her head down and nodded slightly.
"A lot actually. But he never liked me back anyways." She pursed her lips not daring to look back at me. "But that's okay, cause–" I heard a sniffle from her, "cause no one ever likes me back." She wiped a tear from her blushed cheeks and that's when I realized.
I took the love of her life who never loved her back, and the scariest part is that I don't think I'll ever love him like she ever did.
