Bonzo stared down at the girl's face as she pants. He squinted his eyes and straighten her back by raising her shoulder higher. "Oi, don't f*cking show me that weakened state of yours. You look ugly."

A smirk formed on Zai's lips as she continued panting. She gave him a sideways glance, "Then does that mean you always looked ugly?"

Bonzo smirked, quite irritated by her words. "Haha," he sarcastically laughed and glanced at Trois who's currently dealing with Xhen. He then grinned at Zai as he point his face, "I'm more handsome than that freak though--agh!" Bonzo groaned when a rock suddenly hit the back of his head. He looked at Trois again with an irritated expression, "Damn you, Trois!"

The sound of crumbling ice was suddenly heard and their sharp eyes darted to Shaera's direction. Zai's sword was about to drop to the concrete but it suddenly stopped midair. Shaera motioned her finger and the sword flew to her.

The sword floated in front of her and she stared at the red gem in its hilt. Zai's eyes squinted when Shaera removed the gem and a sly smile formed on her lips as she chuckle, "Avis is truly stupid to give you this gem. Its color has changed but it's still the same," her sly smile got wider, "I was just about to search for this but since you brought it to me yourself, I don't have to use an incredible amount of magic energy to summon it. I appreciate your efforts, hatchling."

Zai and Bonzo squinted their eyes when Shaera began to rise from the ground. Her dress is swaying along with the wind as she smirk. She swayed her hand and they immediately covered their eyes when a blinding light came from her place.

When the light died down, they blinked a few times before completely opening them. They looked up and their eyes widen when they saw the pages of the books flying and circulating the goddess. Shaera said some words and the pages began to stop in front of her, forming a huge paper by pasting itself on top of the other.

Zai's eyes sharpened as she see the Origo slowly forming. The words on each pages are forming one word then another. Connecting to one another.

The last page placed itself on the top right of the huge paper and the gaps immediately disappeared, completely turning it into a huge and long scroll with some words written on it that they couldn't read. Shaera grinned and crushed the gem in her hand. When she opened her palm, the dusts from the crushed jewel began to move and it formed a pen. Her widened eyes showed excitement as she holds the pen, "Finally... FINALLY!"

She laughed out loud and spread her arms as she stare at the cloudy sky, "You will all disappear except for me! You hear me!? Huh!? Shoru! Odeana! Feiro! You will all regret what you did to me! You'll all disappear before me! For banishing me from that place, this will be your punishment!" her eyes squinted in pleasure, "Kindly accept your punishment from your one and only God!"

Red and black dusts came out from her body and started circulating around her as she let out her laughter. The Origo has a gold light surrounding it, illuminating the goddess who has a devilish smirk on her lips.

Some citizens looked back to know where the golden light is coming from ngunit nanlaki lamang ang kanilang mga mata noong makita ang diyosa. Muli nilang ibinalik ang kanilang tingin sa kanilang harapan at mas binilisan ang kanilang pagtakbo. The fear they're feeling only worsen and they panicked even more.

As they run, they kept on praying for the help of the gods. Hoping that they'll hear them. However, they've been praying and praying for months now but none was answered. The amount of hope is decreasing and lessening every passing second as they run with their tired and aching feet. Some have fatal wounds but they're forcing themselves just to take another step forward.

The Hellions immediately ran to their direction. They were about to run even if it's impossible to get away from those monsters but they stopped when a man suddenly came from the side and in an instant, the five Hellions got cut in bits.

Mabilis na gumaan ang kanilang loob noong makita ang pigura ng heneral. He's not wearing his armor, only a blood-stained kimono. Blood is dripping from his sword. His hair is tied and it also has some blood stains, so as his face.

Yan looked at them with concern and he motioned his hand, "Go! Don't stop running!"

Sinunod naman nila ito at nagpatuloy sila sa pagtakbo. They've been running for some minutes now but they have to endure. The capital is very huge and it takes an hour and a half to reach the borders on a carriage.

Akmang tatakbo na rin si Yan upang gabayan ang mga ito ngunit may isang kawal naman ang tumawag sa kaniya. When he looked back, he immediately recognized Colonel Finlan. Hinarap naman niya ito.

Finlan saluted first before he spoke, "General, I apologize for interrupting you while we're currently in the middle of a crisis but I would just like to ask if you have seen his highness?" his stoic face showed concern, "He suddenly disappeared without any escort at all."

Yan answered, "No, I haven't seen King Ezio anywhere. Maybe he went to get some cigarettes?"

Finland let out a stressed sigh, "That man and his vices."

Yan smiled, "Don't worry too much, Colonel. King Ezio is a strong man, he can handle himself. If he went alone, then that means he doesn't need any soldiers to accompany him."

Finlan stood quiet for a while before he nodded. Muli siyang tumingin sa heneral ng pormal, "I shall take my leave, general." he said and bowed his head before going on his way.

Yan raised his gaze to the castle and saw the goddess. He knows that Zai is currently there and fighting. He wants to be there as well but the soldiers that are escorting the evacuating citizens are very low in number. He has to help.

Yan's eyes squinted with concern as he look at the palace, "You could've at least showed yourself to me before picking up your blade, Zai," a sad smile appeared on his lips, "Return safely, okay?"

Zai removed herself from Bonzo's hold and she ran to the object Shane has brought earlier. Mabilis niya itong dinampot at tinanggal ang tela nito. She ran back to Bonzo and while she's running to him, Bonzo is just staring at her. When Bonzo realized what she's about to do, he immediately bent his knees and put his palm beneath the other.

Zai jumped on his hands and Bonzo grinned as he throw her body towards Shaera's direction. With his power, Zai blasted towards the goddess in an incredible speed. Shaera looked at Zai's direction when she felt her presence but her eyes widen and she groaned when Zai suddenly slammed an open book on her face.

The dusts that's surrounding the goddess suddenly dropped and her body weakened as it began to fall as well. Shaera's eyes widened with realization. Zai grinned, "The title's Mortalia, sh*thead."

Shaera gritted her teeth and her pure anger showed in her eyes but it is currently covered by the book, Zai could not see it. Shaera grabbed the collar of Zai's cloth but Zai did not react as they continue to fall. "You sh*tty brat!"

Zai smirked, "You no longer have the gods' power, Shaera. What do you think will happen if you fall from this height?"

Shaera's eyes widen. Zai grinned and kicked her body, dahilan para lalong bumulusok pababa ang diyosa. Nanlalaki ang mga mata ng diyosa habang ito'y patuloy na nahuhulog.

Asta was jumping on the debris of the broken stairs but she stopped when she saw Zai falling. She immediately bent her knee and jumped to her. Zai didn't react when Asta caught her body before she could hit the ground. Nanatili itong nakatitig sa nahuhulog na diyosa habang siya'y may suot na nasasabik na ngiti.

Shaera clenched her teeth, "You Hevrions are the worst mistake I have ever made! You useless demons!"

Zai smirked, "Glad to serve your death to your table, my Lady."

A loud noise was heard when Shaera's body hit the ground. The spot she landed on got dusty. When Asta's feet landed on the ground, she put Zai down and she stared at the dusty spot Shaera landed on.

Ilang sandali ang lumipas ay nawala na ang mga alikabok na nakapalibot dito. Both of them stared at the bloody body of the goddess in the middle of a huge crater. Bali ang leeg nito at nakabukas pa rin ang mga mata. Her head is bleeding and so as the rest of her body. May mga bali itong mga buto, some bones are even showing and her flesh is showing. Asta covered her mouth with her hand when she was about to puke with the sight.

Zai walked to the goddess' place and she didn't care much when she stepped on her flesh to get to the book that's laying beside her. Dinampot niya ang Mortalia at ito'y ngumisi sa patay na babae. "That appearance suits you quite well, sh*thead."

"Oh sh*t!" Asta exclaimed and turned her back to vomit when Zai suddenly kicked the woman's head and it rolled after parting from its body.

Zai raised her gaze and listened to all the continuous screams of the citizens all over the city. She chuckled and turned her back. She walked pass Asta who's coughing after puking, "I'll be at the academy."

Asta looked at her as she wipe her mouth with the back of her hand, "What? What are you going to do there?"

A sinister and dark grin appeared on Zai's lips.

Asta's eyes widen when she felt the sudden change of the air around them. She immediately jumped away and took her stance. Her eyes showed alertness and also fear at the same time as her fist trembles and her knees weakens. W-What's this sensation..?

Nanatili siyang nakatitig sa likod ng dalaga. Ilang buwan na niyang minamatyagan at nakakasama ang dalaga ngunit ito ang unang beses na maramdaman niya ang ganitong kalaki at malamig na presensya. This is not Ephraim, she's certain of it. It's the girl. Asta's eyes widen when she thought of one thing. Don't tell me.. she's been hiding this immense presence for the last months?

She clenched her teeth. That's impossible! This presence is too big, bigger than Frēo's! It's also dark and cold. Something like this, they should have felt it while she's with them. But none of them did. Not Ero, not Sinbad, not Bonzo, not her. They knew nothing about this gigantic pressure. She was hiding it, but why?

Zai looked over her shoulder to her and Asta felt a cold wind ran down her spine when she saw how cold and dark her eyes are. They've always been cold but not to this extent. She clenched her fists tighter when a devilish smirk appeared on the girl's lips as she answer her question, "Silly you," her eerie eyes slightly widen as her smile even get more devilish, "My fun hasn't even started yet."

Asta's eyes began to squint as she clench her teeth tighter. Zai slyly chuckled, "I never said Shaera was the main show," Zai looked at her with her creepy gaze, "I am."

Asta's foot slightly dug into the ground as she bend her knees to attack. She immediately blasted from her place like a bullet and flew to the girl's direction, leaving a violent force behind. She draw her fist back before she launched a heavy punch, however, her fist landed on the empty ground causing for it to crack and create a crater. She clenched her teeth when she can't feel the girl's presence any longer, "Zai!!"
