"Hey, what was that about?"

I asked after I caught up with Adara after school, she stopped to face me with a confused expression across her face.

"What was what about?"

She asked, she acted as if she didn't know what I was referring to.

"You know what."

I told her, I crossed my arms and stared her down, but her eyes suddenly landed on my hand.

"Oh my gosh, it's so beautiful!"

She squealed, I glanced down at my ring and felt my cheeks begin to turn warm.

"Shut up! We are talking about you and Cameron!"

I said maybe a little to loudly, her face turned darker at my comment.

"Could you say his name any louder?"

She asked a little flushed.

"Say who's name?"

I heard Cameron ask from behind me, Adara's face went from tomato red to paper white within seconds.

"Oh nothing, what's up Cameron?"

I asked, his eyes were drawn to Adara's as he spoke.

"Oh just looking for Shawn, do you by chance know where he is?"

He asked, suddenly I felt someone's arms wrap around me from behind, I had a slight heart attack before Cameron spoke.

"Never mind. Found him."

He said with a grin, Shawn pecked my cheek lightly before he let go of me.

"I was gonna actually see if you wanted to come over later tonight?"

Cameron asked, Shawn gave me a questioning look and I nodded.

"Ya, Adara is actually going to spend the night."

I said, Adara was about to speak out against me, but I nudged her in the gut.

"Ya Shawn, you should stay the night! We could stay up late and catch up!"

Cameron said happily, Shawn nodded in agreement.

"Sounds great, would seven be a good time?"

Cameron asked, Shawn nodded with a smile.

"Alright see ya then, it's gonna be lit!"

Cameron said over his shoulder as he started for the school parking lot, he turned around one last time and said his last goodbyes to Adara.

"Goodbye gorgeous, see ya Monday!"

He called with a wink, her cheeks turned red again and he grinned widely before he disappeared.

"Scar, why'd you do that!"

Adara asked once she was sure Cameron couldn't hear, I smiled.

"Well I can now pester you all night about this Cameron situation."

I told her with a laugh, Shawn seemed confused, but he took that Adara was embarrassed about the situation, so he stayed quiet.
