After Rowena left, Everyone was now in peace. "I'm gonna check up on her" John said softly. Everyone nodded at that before they went to have a drink in the kitchen while John gently went in to see how Kayla was doing. She was still sleeping. He gave a soft smile before he gingerly walked up to her and stroked her head gently before he pressed a small peppered kiss on her forehead. Kayla flinched a bit but let out a soft sleepy noise, making John smile bigger. "I promised you I will never lose you again... I intend to keep that, princess" he softly whispered before he gave her one last kiss on her forehead and left her to sleep.
He loves his daughter....It was obvious. Without his children... He would have nothing to lose. He walked up to the kitchen to find everyone else there. "Is she still asleep?" Dean asked worried and concernedly. "Yes, Dean. She's fine." John replied while getting a beer from the fridge. Everyone looked calmer at that.
John looked over at his sons and angels "Hey uh, can I ask you a question, Gabriel or Castiel?"
"Yes, sir." Cas said with a lost puppy look.
"Fire away" 
"Being an angel... what kind of responsibilities does it have?" John asked curiously. Castiel bit his lip before Gabriel answered for him. "Well, first off... If you have a human... Like I had with Kayla.. you have to look out for her or him..."
"Yeah, like you did in the adoption centre" Dean sassed with a death glare and smirk filled with attitude. 
"Sh. Dean" John said giving his son a look. Dean clenched his jaw and looked down to the ground. Gabriel let out a heaved sigh "I know I wasn't the best guardian angel... but... I did my best to protect her..."
"Yeah, like let her get raped by her own headmaster!!!! Being bullied in class!!! Being harassed and tortured by her teachers!!! that's extremely good!! well done, Gabriel!! If I had known that Kitty was in that horrid place, I would've fought myself in there to get her out!!! I would've beaten the shit out of their ass!!! Let alone if I was her FUCKIN' GUARDIAN ANGEL!!!!" Dean roared having enough of this.
"DEAN!!" John exclaimed pulling him back from. "He did what he had to do!!"
"DAD!!" Dean snapped. 
"No!!! Go to your room!! Go see Kayla... Something!! Just!!! Stay out of it!" John recommended sternly with a stoic look. Dean glared hard at his father "You know... for someone who favors his daughter... you sure have a crappy way of doing it" 
"Alright!! First off!!! I don't favor anyone!! I love you all equally!! and second of all!! Don't you dare!! Tell me of how I need to look out for my daughter!!" John said now raising his voice "Don't you think I wanted her out of there!?!?! It was your mum who was the hard head!" 
"And yet you still favored her opinion!" Sam said now getting in on this too. "You know how much she has nightmares of that place? .... of when she was a lonely scared little girl being tortured and taunted into that hell hole?" Now Sam's eyes basically were about to be filled with tears. John's face turned softer at Sams words. 
"What?" John breathed out. 
"I hear her dad... every night... crying... calling out for you... for mum... and you were never there to get her out of there" Sam sniffled. John looked away and basically muted himself. He took in some deep breaths before he punched the table and felt a tear slip. "I should've left your mother... take you with me... and raised Kayla and you boys on my own... why was I so blind by my love?"
Sam and Dean's eyes were now basically filled with tears. Gabriel and Castiel were just quiet and not getting into this family situation.
"Dad..... Y... You could've just told us about her... we would've helped you out number mum" Sam softly recommended. John looked up at his son and nodded while biting his lip containing back his tears. "If only it would have been that easy, son" John choked in his tears. 
"I'm sorry" Gabriel said softly "If I could've done something, I would've done it but angels just need to look over them.. not stop the danger from happening... They need to fight it for themselves"
"Gabriel, you're not helping yourself" Cas mumbled to his brother.
"SHE WAS JUST A KID!!!" Dean roared uncontrollably. 
"told you" Cas spoken in a low sing song to not be heard by the brothers. 
"I know!!! I couldn't do anything!!! Fathers orders!!!" Gabriel retorted.
"F....FATHERS ORDERS?!??!" Dean was now outraged. "SO YOUR DAD TOLD YOU TO LET YOUR HUMAN TO BE TORTURED AND HAVING A HELL LIKE LIFE?!?!!?!? SOME FATHER HE IS!!!" 
"Dean!!!" John was now weakened. "It's my fault!! And your mothers!! Don't blame Gabriel!!" 
"Why are you taking the blame dad?!?!"
"BECAUSE I'M THE ONE WHO SIGNED HER UP!!!" John now yelled at his son. His breathing became uneven as sobs escaped "It had to be me! To sign her up! Your mother couldn't do it!! So I had to step up! I could've changed her mind!! But I stepped in!!" 
Sam and Dean just stared at their father with hard looks on their faces. Sam inhaled a breath "why did you do that dad?" He lowly growled.
"Because I was blinded by your mother!!" 
"That's not an.." Dean was about to talk back but he couldn't he burst into tears "Why are we even talking about this?" He said through his pained tears.
"Don't know!! But what I do know! Is that I regret that this talk is happening! I didn't need to know all of this!" Sam shakily talked through his sharp heaved breaths. "I need a drink" Dean said before he was about to exit to get a strong alcoholic drink from the cabinet "Right behind you" Sam complied. John just closed his eyes in regret. When...
All of a sudden... A scream was heard... but it wasn't Kayla...

"AVA!!!" Castiel recognized from who the scream came from before he ran to his daughters room. Jack, John, Nathan and Rose bolted out of their beds but Cas saw them and turned to face them "Stay in your rooms" he said to them. They were shaken but they obeyed their fathers order and went back to their room.
Cas sighed heavily before he continued to run to his daughters room. "Ava!!" He ran up to his daughter who was arching her back in pain and screaming like hell. All of a sudden Kayla barged in "Baby!!" she exclaimed and went to other side of her daughters bed."Kayla!! Go back to your rest" Cas told her in a sort of orderly way. "How can I rest when we have this going on!?!?!" She yelled in protection and defense. "Mummy!! Daddy!! It hurts!!" Ava sobbed out. Kayla's eyes turned misty "Cas, what's going on?" she asked frantically and worried like a mother should.
"I don't know!! It..." he stopped and froze before he looked at his daughter "Ava, baby... where is it hurting you?"
"My back mostly." She replied. His eyes widened before he grinned "No need to worry."
"SHE'S IN PAIN!!" Kayla literally screamed.
"Just for a few seconds... She's turning" Cas said proudly with a smile.
"INTO WHAT?!?!"
"An angel" Cas responded softly.
"Well being an angel is a pain in the ass!!" Ava sassed like Dean and her mother. Cas chuckled "it'll be over soon, bumblebee!" he said stroking her head and softly kissing it. "Everything is going to be fine. You just need to let go baby. Release" He soothed.
Ava whimpered out in pain before she let out one sob of a scream... a burst of blue light emerged right out of her causing for Kayla to close her eyes and look the other way since the light was way too bright but Cas... he stared at his baby girl with a grin... "My Angel" he softly whispered. Once the light exposed itself, Ava felt something lumpy underneath her.... her wings... She shivered and gasped sharply before she pushed herself off to be sat up straight and looked at her wardrobe mirror... a pair of wings... They were white fluffy wings with a light shade of pink  at the end of it with.
Kayla and Cas looked at their daughter in awe... "My daughters an angel..." Cas whispered tearfully. Kayla grinned brightly tearing up too in a way. "Y... You're one of the chosen ones"
"woaw woaw wait!! Chosen ones?!?!" Kayla exclaimed immediately with a change of mood in her eyes.
"Relax sweet treasure... There is a small amount of chosen future angels that can be the second generation of angels... and she's going to be in my place... That's all. Nothing bad. No war, no nothing... Just... being the angel she is." Cas explained to his wife before he looked over to his daughter. "You're going to make me proud... You already did." He softly said to Ava. His hands cupped her cheek and brought his lips to her forehead and kissed it again. "go sleep angel princess" He softly said.
