Kayla walked through the bunker up to her room not wanting to talk to Dean and Cas who sat up to talk to her but she ignored them and walked in between them blocking them out going straight to her room. 

"Kitty?" Dean frowned in worry 

"Kayla" Cas called out before the angel and hunter looked at each other in confusion. Cas sighed and went after her but more footsteps made him turn along with Dean doing the same thing  to find Sam standing in front of them. 

"Sammy?" Dean breathed out shocked. Sam gave him a nod with a slight smile "Hey Dean" Dean walked up to his brother and hugged him. Sam hugged back closing his eyes relaxed that he's in his elder brothers embrace. 

"where the hell were you?" Dean asked after he let go of his brother. 

"I uh... I did it" Sam replied not daring to look into his brothers eyes. 

"Y.." Dean gave Sam his angry puppy face  "You what?!?!" 

"I had to save her Dean!!!! Why didn't you do it?!" Sam barked

 "Cause it would've been risky!! And she's fine!!" Dean roared in reply 

"NOT IF WE DIDN'T DO IT DEAN!!" Sam retorted with a loud yell. 

"HOW COULD YOU KNOW IF IT WASN'T A TRICK?!?!" Dean tried to take his last word with a deep glare.

Cas sighed and took out his hand and shut them off by making a swift movement with his hand and made them stop talking. 

"Sam! Dean! Stop talking!" he said nonchalantly "Sam. It's good you're back!" the angel said before hugging him. Sam hugged him silently before Cas said "Ok! I'm going to unmute you! And you need to quietly tell me what the hell is going on!! and what this fight is about?! What did you do?! who is 'her' ? where did you go? I need questions" Dean was about to talk but his voice didn't came out. Cas gave him a type of glare "No! Shouting!" he said sternly

He unmuted them. Sam and Dean gave glares to each other and Sam was first to talk. 

"Alright. Well, I.."

The next morning, Kayla woke up groggily before she bumped her way to the kitchen and started making coffee. Dean woke up and came in after a small while. 

These 2 didn't talk in the morning, they weren't morning people at all. Kayla just lend him his coffee. He took it taking his first sip and as a thank you he kisses her head and sits down. Kayla just lays her head on his shoulder and just closes her eyes wanting to fall asleep again. Dean smirks down at her letting her do what she wants and slowly kisses her temple again and takes another sip of his coffee. 

The door opens and closes. Probably Sam coming in from his morning Jog. He enters in the kitchen and the men nodded their head at each other, trying to act no argument was settled last night. 

"Morning" Sam said reaching for his energy drink from the fridge.

"Morning" Dean replied taking another sip from his coffee. 

"Mummy!"

Kayla sniffled air before she gasped and woke up again whimpering a bit. Dean and Sam chuckled. "Morning Bunny" Sam chimed grabbing a banana from the table bowl. 

She grunted in response rubbing her face before she reached for her mug and took her sip of coffee before she still sassed "Banana huh? What? you gonna imagine it's Gabriel?" 

Sam gulped and turned lightly pink "Like you don't imagine Cas while eating this" He retorted back to her. She tiredly smirked at him before she grabbed another one and licked it still half asleep  before she left out of the kitchen teasing them. Dean flustered a bit and Sam just rolled his eyes with a head shake and a chuckle. 

Dean gets up after Sam and walks up to him "Sam. Sammy" He said catching up to him. Sam stops and turned "what?" he asked giving a 'here we go again' kind of look. 

"Look, Sam, I know you care for her. I do too but she is fine, we can't go and do crazy stunts like that without the others consent and closure." 

"But what if she wouldn't be and Dean, if she knew, She would be crushed."

"Better her knowing and being sad, we can help that!! But to what's gonna happen to you now, we can't!!" 

"I'll be fine" 

"That's what you think" Dean growled underneath his breath before he left to his room. On his way, he heard crying coming over from his sisters room. He frowned and crept open her door. "Kitty?" he cooed. Kayla flinches before she quickly wiped her tears and cleared her throat. "Oh. Hey puppy" she said getting off of her bed and gave him a quick smile. 

He Frowned and moved towards her "You were crying" he said gently placing a hand on her cheek. "what's wrong?" he carefully asked looking over at her concernedly. She shook her head. "I'll..I'll be ok, Puppy. I promise. I'm fine" she said looking up at him. "Kayla. Come on. Don't give me that bull shit. What's going on?" 

"No..Nothing I.."

"Kayla!!" He said giving her a more stern look. She gave him a sort of pouting glare before she was about to break in fits of tears. She walked away from him and gave him her back before she turned and faced him through red teary eyes.

"I.. When I told you about my life?.. a long time ago? at bobby's house? D...Do you remember that?"

Dean frowned more "Yeah? What about it?" 

"I... I didn't mention a small part of it" She said hesitating to let it out of her system. Dean  walked closer to her carefully. "I...I actually saw my husbands and sons death" she sobbed out. Deans face turned shocked and pained "I could've done something about it!! My sons were screaming out to me!! I stood there like an idiot!! not knowing what to do!!! My husband told me to get out of there!!" She took a cry to herself as she felt herself in Deans arms. "I left my babies to die, Dean!!! I left them there!! How can a mother do that to her sons!?!?!" She tried to get away from  his grasp looking up at Dean but he just simply didn't let her go. 

"Kitty!!" he said grabbing her in his tight grasp and just shook his head "No" he whispered "You had no Idea what the supernatural was. You had no choice! It wasn't your fault." he added on tearing up himself. "Don't blame yourself! Blame the sonofabitch who killed them in the first place!" Dean finished up before he pulled her in his arms again kissing her head as much as he could, stroking her head almost crying himself. 

Kayla was breathlessly sobbing into her brothers chest. "Fuck!" she tried to speak but her tears couldn't let her. "All these years! it's been taunting me in my sleep!! Now it's taunting me even in my day time!! Just hallucinations! and day dreaming!! I just hear their voices Dean!! I hear my baby boys voices crying out to me to help them!! And I didn't!!" She squeezed her eyes shut as she found herself back in Deans arms. 

Dean just stroked her hair with his fingers brushing it and just placing his lips on her temple trying to calm her down before he tried to sing her their song. 'Stairway to Heaven - By Led Zeppelin'

She whimpered through his chest and tightened her grasp around him relaxing in his arms before she continued the song with a cracked voice,

"When she gets there she knows

If the stores are all closed

With a word she can get what she came for " 

Dean smiled through her hair and they both harmonised together with:

"Oh oh oh oh and she's buying a stairway to heaven" 

Kayla was now calm. She looked up  at Dean before she whispered "Thanks puppy. You're the best"

He answered with a "I'll always be here for you kitty" before he kissed her head and pulled her back in his arms.
