In the normal dimension, the next day was a weekend; Leslie had to tell Andre about what she and Aylia can do. Leslie asked Andre for both his parents to be there for when she told them. She was walking towards the house and she was a little scared. She calmed herself down and started to walk up to the door. She knocked on the door and Andre came to open the door.

Andre: Hey Leslie.

Leslie: Hey Andre, are your parents here?

Andre: Like you asked but what is this all about?

Leslie: It's better if I show you something first.

Andre let Leslie inside and she went to the living room where Andre's parents were.

Austin: Hey Leslie, what did you want to talk to us about?

Leslie: Andre, remember I was called to the office?

Andre: Yeah, thought you would get in trouble because of how well we are doing.

Leslie: Actually, there was a second reason.

Andre: What are you talking about?

Austin's Mom: What second reason.

Leslie whistled and Aylia came to them in ghost form. Leslie nodded to Aylia and she went inside of her. She dropped to her knees.

Andre: Leslie!

Leslie: It's alright everyone.

Andre's Mom: Did you just let her possess you?

Leslie: Yeah.

Andre: Why would you even do that!?

Aylia: Because her mother was torn from my death.

Leslie stood back up with Aylia in control

Andre: Aylia?

Aylia: Yes, it's me; Leslie let me possess her in order to fix things with her mother since she was my friend.

Austin: Wait a minute, that wouldn't cause any problems at school, Leslie can only take you there, wait can take you out of the house?

Aylia: I can once I am in a body but I have restricted myself only to Leslie.

Andre: But that wouldn't cause a problem, you would just be talking to yourself.

Leslie: Actually...

Aylia came out of her body partially and was above Leslie's head.

Andre: Whoa.

Leslie: She can come out of my body partially and help me, her connection to me allows her make physical contact with others but talking we don't know yet. I am the only one that can hear her for now.

Andre: You sure about that?

Aylia: Can they hear me?

Leslie: Looks to be a no.

Andre: Catch.

Leslie caught an apple from Andre first then Aylia grabbed it she was throwing it from hand to hand.

Andre: Ok, I'm both freaked out and surprised about this but why even tell us?

Aylia crossed her hands and put them on Leslie's head then she put her head on top of her hands. She still had the apple in her hand.

Leslie: Partially because Aylia saved me from bullies and the Principal knows about Aylia.

Andre's Mom: Can Aylia go back in, how does the principal know about this?

Aylia went back into Leslie and Leslie catches the apple.

Aylia: Because he is my childhood friend from long ago, all of us can recognize ourselves through a game.

Andre: Which one?

Aylia: Mortal Kombat X and before you ask, we tried it on a dare.

Austin: But still why tell us now?

Leslie: We didn't want the blowback if you found out the other way.

Andre's Mom: She does have a solid point.

Both Andre and Austin were looking at Andre's Mom.

Andre's Mom: What, aren't we supposed to be open about this?

Andre: That's true but I didn't think it would go like this.

Aylia came back out of Leslie and assumed the same position she did before.

Leslie: Yeah, Aylia and I are still working out the kinks on this whole possession thing.

Andre: Well... we should work on it.

Aylia went back into Leslie and they sat down in the living room. Just then Andre's parents got calls to work. They had to go in. They left leaving Andre, Leslie and Aylia working out things with this whole possession business. Meanwhile Pure touched down in China near the temple. He let the monk get off his back and stood up. Pure radioed the others.

Pure: How is it looking everyone?

Mima: Locked down while the hacker team figures out where the book is and shut that down.

Pure: All right keep me posted.

Monk: This way.

Pure and the monk were walking up stairs to the temple while they were walking up the Monk was talking to Pure.

Monk: Pure, I know you have endured a lot to get here and a lot more pain than anyone else has ever known.

Pure: I would do it all again if it would let me have my wives, children and team at my side, so be it.

Monk: It is nothing like that for you to reconnect to your fox spirit life.

Pure: How do you even know about all of this?

Monk: I think it is time you knew a secret that has been passed down for millenniums.

Pure followed the Monk to the temple and there were people meditating. One of the monks saw Pure and they rang a big bell with a big piece of wood ten times. All of the monks left the massive room except one. He was in the middle of the room, the person stood up but still kept their back to Pure, they had on a cloth over his head.

Person: It is about time we met Pure, I know you have a lot of questions but let me show you something first.

The person took off the cloth above his head and his hair was white but the most important thing was he had fox ears and they were white too. Pure saw this and he was ready with his God Cannon and his sword.

Monk: Stand down, he is not a threat.

Pure: I have heard that before.

Monk: Pure, trust him he is thousands of years old, he is not connected to your family.

Pure: It's his dark side I'm worried about.

Fox Spirit: I don't have it anymore, I got rid of it millenniums ago.

Pure was sensing for his dark side but there was one problem, he didn't have any. Pure put away his god cannon but still had his sword out.

Pure: Then why are you here, aren't you supposed to be dead?

Fox Spirit: Exactly the reason why I am here.

Pure: If you try anything...

Fox Spirit: I won't, promise.

Pure put his sword away and started to walk forward. A monk came with a table that had Oolong tea and two cups. Pure disengaged his lag armor from his leg by just walking and letting it disengage. The Fox Spirit saw his legs and sat down; the monk put the tea down in front of the Fox Spirit. Pure came to the other side and sat down. The Fox Spirit showed his tails which were fifteen and they were white as well.

Fox Spirit: To start my name is Tao; I was a fox spirit that came here millenniums ago.

Pure: What caused you not to age?

Tao: When I got rid of the dark side of me it caused my age to stop, just have you have done.

Pure: But why?

Tao: Because I was you back then.

Pure: What do you mean?

Tao: Has anyone told you we came here before?

Pure: My mother before I was forced to kill her, she said we came here from the monster dimension.

Tao: But do you know why we have that dark side of ourselves?

Pure: No.

Tao: Then listen well, a time back in the Monster dimension, Fox Spirits lived in harmony there with the other monsters, dryads were friendlier and social, other rare species were known such as griffons and such but one fox spirit wanted more.

Pure: Was it you?

Tao: No this was a few years before it took hold of me, that fox spirit wanted power and he would even give up his longevity, he went to a dark magic user and traded his longevity for more power. Soon enough he started to corrupt and overthrow the entire Fox Spirit way of life. The war started and things went sideways, species went into hiding or don't socialize anymore. Sacrifices were made, artifacts were built, a council was formed and they hunted whoever was corrupted.

Pure: That was when they made a portal to come here.

Tao: Exactly, when I got through the corruption was weak in me so I was able to fight it. I was able to get control to run away while everyone was still disoriented. I ran for as long as I could until the fatigue set in. Then I went inside myself to fight the dark side inside me, it was a tough battle but I managed to beat it. I managed to wake up a little bit and I could see the dark energy leaving me permanently.

Tao: I saw a cave nearby and went in before I passed out, soon enough I woke up and started looking for something to eat and drink. Soon enough I came to a stream and started to drink. I thought I should go smaller to be able to lose my scent so the others can't find me. What I didn't know is I was near a village and the entire village saw me. All of them were looking at me and I was looking at them. I carefully came across the stream and came to one of them gently. I stood still and one of them came to me, it was a girl and she was rubbing the side of my head and I responded in kind.

Tao: Once they saw I was not a threat I used a little bit of my magic to transform into a version between them and me. I couldn't talk at first, only growling but they took me in, when I transformed I could clearly see the wounds I had. They healed me and gave me a home to stay with; in return I helped around the village and learned their customs.

Pure: But some things never last.

Tao: No, eventually they would come and track me down because of my scent but they were not successful, the village put me underwater in a bathtub that had a fragrance to hide my smell. Eventually they gave up when they thought I went through the water to lose my scent, I had a bamboo stick in my mouth so I could still breathe but I knew I had to leave.

Tao: The village told me of a place in the mountains ruled by the monks so that I could find peace and happiness but I wanted to fight against them but there was no point to that, I wanted to protect the village but it was best if I left. The same girl that befriended me first was my guide. We left together on the journey to the temple, with you it would take hours but where we were located it took weeks but it took less since I was using my Fox Spirit side to scale the rough terrain.

Tao: We would hide in caves and hillsides so that I won't be detected easily. During that time we were developing a connection to each other, we would sleep on my tails so that we could get a full night's sleep but eventually we went further than that.

Pure: So you two actually got together.

Tao: That is putting it lightly but yes we did but...

Pure: You didn't.

Tao: I'll confirm it, we went nuts.

Pure: And here I was thinking it was just me.

Tao: -laughs- No, May I continue?

Pure: Of course.

Pure and Tao took a sip of the tea and Tao continued with the story.

Tao: When we got to the temple, the monks were actually expecting both me and her, they gave us a place to stay while we were at the temple, the monks taught me a lot throughout the years and the girl, turned woman and...

Pure: Turned wife?

Tao: Yes, taught me to speak, their customs and their ways. Eventually my fur changed from my original color to white to show I was at one with myself and the world but it wasn't enough to right the wrongs that the entire kind did until I felt more power from somewhere.

Pure: What do you mean?

Tao: To explain this, there is something important you need to understand; when you were being experimented you didn't split into four people, you split into five.

Pure: Five?

Tao: Yes, your original self which is you right now, your younger self in which you reconnected to, Chun your fox spirit version of yourself, your dark side in which you vanquished years ago and there is one more side you never considered.

Pure: A light side?

Tao: Yes, when you split during those experiments three sides stayed behind.

Pure: My original self, my fox Spirit and my dark side, but if those three were in my body I would have become submitted to it.

Tao: The reason you didn't is because during the separation, your subconscious grabbed a small piece of light, both you and Chun were holding onto that small piece as if your life depended on it and you used it to vanquish your dark self once and for all, you still even have that small piece in you right now.

Pure: Then if that is the case, where did the rest go?

Tao: It came to me.

Pure: What?

Tao: Remember when I said I felt more power come from somewhere?

Pure: Yeah.

Tao: Well, that power was a light side of another fox spirit, I got all of its power and I felt stronger but the amount of Fox Spirits that turned to the dark side was increasing rapidly and my body couldn't keep up so I had to build a storage to hold that power but when yours came it was pure light energy, even I couldn't take in a small fraction of it, not even the storage I had was enough for it so I had to build a completely new one to give it a home, even the light sides I collected for millenniums combined with it and made it more powerful than before.

Pure: Wait, if you had that much power then why couldn't you take them on your own?

Tao: My body couldn't contain no more than ten and no one else could take power no more than three to help. My wife knew I would live forever but I gave her some of the light energy for her to live longer but it was not infinite. Then we started to look for a way to store the energy elsewhere so it couldn't kill me, we found the energy could be stored in orbs made of crystal, eventually we had to increase the storage until we made a massive orb where all of them could stay and not be in me but eventually time catches up with the rest of you.

Tao: Eventually my wife died after giving birth to a lot of human children and watching them leave to start their own life. I continued to store the light spirits and I buried my wife back at her village and let her rest in peace with the light energy still in her body and it brought prosperity to the village.

Pure: So why did you still store them?

Tao: My wife did a little research with the monks and they found a prophecy, that a man in black with no heart will fight to end the threat of apocalypse and he will transform from black to white to do it.

Pure: The person was me and I take in the light spirit energy.

Tao: And with the power of the entire light energy of all Fox Spirits to do it, including mine.

Pure: Yours?

Tao: The reason why I have lived for this long is for you to get this power.

Pure: I don't even know if I can store that much power.

Tao: I have been thinking of that and you can do it, the little bit of light you are holding onto was only a drop compared to the power I felt when it came to me, you held that power and you are holding way more now.

Pure: But pure energy and radiation doesn't mix.

Tao: That is the thing, when it came to me it was also infused with radiation from you, the radiation and pure energy are mixed perfectly together, heck, even I got radiation poisoning and I got cleared of it but you are the only one that can use it, come with me.

Tao stood up and started to walk, Pure stood up and grabbed his leg armor using his tails, he put them in front of him and started to walk, when he came close to them they opened up and Pure just kept walking normally and they latched back on and he went with Tao.

Pure: Where can you even hide this storage?

Tao: Right under the temple.

Tao punched the floor and steps started to form from the bricks. Tao went down and Pure followed him, they went down to a flight of steps and it was there a massive crystal orb with the power of fox spirits being contained, when they got close one white Fox Spirit made of white light was formed from all that was in it.

Tao: This is it.

Pure: Wait a minute, when I reconnect Alisha is supposed to get some of this.

Tao: Glad you remembered, look on top of the fox Spirit energy.

Pure focused his sight and there was a smaller Fox Spirit on its back. Both fox Spirits opened their eyes and it was a black sclera with the reactor symbol in full white.

Pure: What do I have to do?

Tao: Break the orb but I have to give up my power now.

Pure: Why not live some more?

Tao: I already finished my bucket list a long time ago and there is nothing else left for me here but you do, I just want to be reunited with my wife in heaven.

Pure: Heh might be joining you after a couple thousand years.

Tao: True, but you have to continue the bloodline and make sure it is done right so you might have to stay longer.

Pure: You have a point there.

Tao: But please, do something for me when I die, take my body back to be buried with my wife, this is the location.

Tao gave Pure a map and Pure scanned it, he got an exact location of where the body was buried.

Pure: Thank you.

Tao: No, thank you for finally putting the Fox Spirits back on the right path.

Tao stepped back and his light energy was being drained from him and went into the crystal orb. When the drain was complete Tao dropped down to his knees, he looked at Pure one last time and said something.

Tao: Give them hell.

Pure: Hoo-ah.

Tao gave his final breath and he was dead. Pure took up his body and took it back up to the monks, the monk from before saw Pure holding Tao's body. The monks came with a stretcher and Pure put his body on the stretcher.

Monk: He waited long enough for you.

Pure: Then his sacrifice will not be in vain.

Pure went straight back down to the crystal orb and looked right at the giant Fox Spirit made of light. Pure walked forward to the orb and smashed it with his bare hands; the giant fox spirit came out and looked at Pure. The Fox Spirit entered Pure and the smaller Fox Spirit got off and came to Pure. Pure sat down and started to meditate to reconnect with the light side of himself that was now much more powerful thanks to it having thousands of years of light Fox Spirit energy. The light Fox Spirit sat down around him and waited for him to reconnect. Things were in motion for the final battle and this time it was go big or go home.
