In the AI dimension, Rory fought her dragon side and was winning; she had just finished their match and Rory stopped. The dragon she fought was a more human version of herself not a metal one.

Dragon Rory: The power is yours, use it wisely.

Dragon Rory evaporated into mist and went into Rory. In reality her body was being surrounded by fire and it was being lifted into the air. Her body was being transformed into a metal muscle fire dragon. When the transformation was complete she was on her feet but she had no wings but she did have a tail. She opened her eyes and they were red with the dragon's eye made of computer circuits.

Rory: All upgrades installed, gem in engine block, Status: Optimal.

Rory fired off her engine and that was when everyone heard it.

Aria: What was that?

Empire King: Three thousand horsepower?

Thursday: Try six.

Rory revved up her engine and flames came out her six exhaust pipes that were now in her back, she revved her engine and that was when her wings appeared. Her wings are only created when her engine is revved up to a degree. She got out of the room and started to try to fly, she saw Vile do it and tried it herself. She was not good at it and had to land a few times. She headed out of the building she was in and flew straight up. She blasted her engine and everyone saw her. Vile heard her engine blasting from afar.

Vile: She has awakened.

Rory landed near the Serpent and went to the team, everyone that was not an AI gave off a whistle of impression.

Thursday: How are you feeling?

Rory: Optimal, I won't be needing this anymore.

Rory held the nitrogen with one hand like it was no problem.

Human: Over here.

Rory tossed it over and it was like a bag of cement for him, even with the Exo-suit installed.

The Empire King whispers to Thursday.

Empire King: -whispering- When this is all over can we get some more of those overhauled parts?

Thursday: -whispering- I'm making a list, I'll put you on it.

Trent: We are getting ready to move out.

Thursday: Things got more serious.

Rory: How much?

Thursday: A lot.

They updated Rory on the current events; Vile came back after his patrol and saw Rory as a muscle fire dragon.

Vile: Rory, you have been transformed.

Rory: Yes, I have.

Vile: Have you tried turning into a dragon yet?

Rory: Not yet.

Vile: Come.

Rory and Vile went out to an open area where she could transform.

Rory: How do you transform.

Vile: We get angry but I think your trigger is different, since you have no emotions, no offense.

Rory: None taken.

Vile But something must trigger it.

Rory does a diagnostic and she finds an extra item in her findings.

Rory: Odd, why is there a nitrous bottle in my system.

Vile called over the com.

Vile: Thursday, why was Rory given a nitrous bottle?

Thursday: Came in with the parts, since Rory is an AI they thought injecting nitrous into her system will make her transform.

Rory: I got the ignition for the nitrous.

Vile: Go for it.

Rory injected the nitrous into her system and revved up, that caused her to transform, fire aura covered her and she started to get bigger, she got as big as Vile and soon she transformed into a metal dragon. Rory looked at herself and her wings were still burning from the exhaust pipes.

Rory: Wow.

Vile transformed himself into a dragon.

Vile: Can you hear me?

Vile was talking in his dragon language but she can't do the same, yet.

Rory: Vile?

Vile: Yes, I can talk to you because you can understand what I'm saying but you don't have our language to use. So the Destiny team told me to speak to you through the communications so that you can still be in contact with the team.

Rory: I understand.

Vile: Ok, let's try a few things before we get going.

Vile starts to hover in the air using his wings, Rory started to copy Vile and it was working. He took her through the basics of flying, once he did, they landed.

Vile: Ok, let's hear you roar.

Rory breathed in and the air went to her supercharger, when she roared it sounded like a dragon's roar but her engine was in the mix, the supercharger valves are on the sides of her dragon mouth and they were taking in the air.

Vile: Nice, let's try your dragon breath.

Rory tried to do her dragon breath and her engine revved up some of the fire went from her engine towards her mouth, the gem that was now placed in her engine amplified it and she breathed fire just as hot as Vile.

Vile: Good, now let's see if you can transform back, try... throttling back your engine.

Rory shifted her engine down and shifted her gear into second gear. She transformed back when she geared down.

Rory: The nitrous is the trigger, fifth gear to keep the transformation and second gear to cancel it.

Vile: Now we have that out of the way, we should get going.

Rory activated the nitrous and transformed back into a dragon.

Rory: Let's go.

Rory and Vile took flight and Rory was still practicing. When they got back they saw three Spartans coming their way, it was Hardline and the two AIs escorting him. Hardline came close to the Serpent and the cockpit opened up. Hardline got out and walked towards it.

Hardline: -whistles- Someone has been busy.

Thursday comes out to greet Hardline.

Thursday: We sure have.

Hardline: Wait, General Black Thursday, aren't you supposed to be dead?

Thursday: I got lucky and its former general.

Hardline: Well what are you doing here?

Thursday: Would you believe me I was looking for some peace and quiet?

Hardline: Heh, war follows people like you and me wherever we go.

Thursday: True that, true that.

Hardline: I heard you got some nukes for me to disarm.

Thursday: This way.

Hardline followed Thursday to the bridge where everyone was working. The Spartans stood put and Hardline grabbed his equipment and suitcase. Hardline put them down on the floor next to the door and met everybody else.

Thursday: This is Aria of AI city, the King of Engine Empire...

Empire King: You can call me Rev.

Hardline shakes both of their hands.

Hardline: Hardline, pro bomb defuser.

Aria: What happened to your arms and legs?

Hardline: Bomb got lucky, what is this nuke I have to disarm?

Thursday: They are called Solphite Nukes; this is the blueprint we managed to get.

Thursday pulled up the blueprints in the form of a hologram.

Hardline: Ok, let's see here.

Hardline breaks down the missile and goes through the entire mechanism.

Hardline: Oh boy, you guys are lucky you called me, this is no ordinary nuke. This is a multi-nuke.

Rev: What?

Hardline: Look at this.

Hardline spit the missile into exploded view.

Hardline: I have disarmed my fair share of nukes, one actually inside a rocket and this missile is not set up for one. All five sections of this rocket is the same, but they break off.

Aria: To get height?

Hardline: Yes and no.

Hardline split up a piece of the rocket.

Hardline: These are rockets but these are used for driving out in space. So this works like a mortar.

Aria: Like how you did the bullet drop?

Hardline: Exactly, when one part falls off at a certain altitude, the re-entry rockets would guide it to a random target they pick but the head of the rocket heads to the city they pick; it contains more of this Solphite you speak of, what is this stuff?

Aria: Solphite is a type of acid that eats or transforms anything it touches into something else so that the remaining Solphite can destroy it.

Hardline: Sounds like nasty stuff; did the team on the other side make a solution to it?

Thursday: They did and we have been using it to clean up any Solphite they have used.

Rev: What is the method to stop these rockets?

Hardline: Rip out all of the guidance chips from each part to start but when I do that everyone better be gone when that happens.

Thursday: Why?

Hardline: What goes up must come down, if I can put in a hacked guidance chip in at least one of them I can steer the rocket right back into its silo and flood the entire base from firing the rest of what they have.

Thursday: If we download all of the AIs before we set that rocket back in on their base of operations and have the hive mind reinstalled elsewhere, can it still work?

Aria: What's the plan here?

Thursday: Right now, that place is a fortress in the middle of water and they already know we can come in by air or across the water, we need some way in to take it over and keep it and by now they must be catching onto how we work.

Hardline: They would be learning and catching onto what we would be doing next.

Thursday: They would blow us up at the moment they saw us.

Hardline: What if they did and it wasn't us?

Thursday: Misdirection?

Hardline: Could work.

Aria: We did keep a back-up Serpent just in case.

Thursday: Then we use that as a decoy.

V came to them and she found something.

V: We got a communications tower near the sea, they must be broadcasting to this side of the world, if we shut that down we can gain full control of this section of the world.

Thursday: Good, let's move.

Hardline: Where can I put my stuff?

Thursday: Trent, get him a room for his equipment.

Aria and Rev got out of the Serpent and went to Wind City. Hardline was given a room where he can check his equipment and pack away his clothing. The Spartan he came with got added to the set that was traveling with the Serpent while Aria and Rev got escorted to AI city. The Serpent started up its engine and moved out. Kym, Vile and Rory were outside flying and tunneling through the ground.

Thursday: What's the make of the communications?

V: They use it to pump the Solphite into the area, I found two more that pump it too along the coastline. Must be how they pumped it into the dam, the other factories were just a sub-station to direct it.

Thursday: Which one is the biggest?

V: Straight ahead.

Thursday: Ok, split up from here, the Serpent is going after the main base. Rory, Vile you head to the one on the right, Vile teach Rory some new things while you are at it, this might be the few chances we get.

Vile: Roger that.

Thursday: Kym, head to the one on the left. Tear the place up, all Spartans are to deploy evenly and shut down those pumps.

V: Pump the brakes everyone, I got something from the diggers.

The AIs built and deployed the diggers to track down any residual Solphite in the areas they have been to or headed to.

Kevin: What?

V shows what is under the communication areas.

V: They are sitting on a lot of Solphite, we get caught in that and the blow the rock right from under us and we are dead.

Thursday: Bait and trap scenario, change of plans. Kym stay back and launch from a distance. Rory you are going to have to switch with Kym on close range work, Vile talk her through it. Split up the Serpent and take them out by shooting long. Everyone else, use the flight mod and knock down as much as you can. Rory, Vile make a pass and collect some Spartans for a ride, they are on sniper and stinger duty.

Vile: Coming in now.

Vile and Rory landed and the Spartans launched from the Serpent. The armory opened up and they grabbed the missile launchers and sniper rifles. All of them were ready to go and they split up from there. The Spartans divided into two and went in-between all three locations to provide support. Thursday launched from the Serpent with his Spartan. Thursday got out of the Spartan and went on top of it. He switched his Umis to sniper rifle and remote piloted the Spartan from the outside. He crouched and the Spartan did too. He synchronized his scope to the Spartan so it aims the same area.

Thursday: How are we looking everyone?

Rory: Taking some practice but I am getting there.

Vile: Keep steady.

Thursday: Keep talking to her. I'll cover you all.

Thursday fired off a shot to take out a defense; the Spartan copied him and made sure it was destroyed.

Rory: Vile how do you do a fireball?

Vile: Gather the fire in your throat, aim and release it opening your mouth and give it some power like a bullet.

Rory did as instructed and put some fire in her throat and let it build it up, she aimed at a defense and it go. The fireball hit the target she wanted but to the side a bit.

Rory: I barely missed.

Vile: Keep trying to aim properly, you can do bursts in one shot; just do smaller blasts you can release in succession.

Rory: I'll try.

Thursday: How is it looking over there?

Human: Their anti- air is good but we are knocking it down.

AI: Watch it.

The Ai dodged the missile and it exploded, he saw the residue and it was Solphite.

AI: Keep your distance, they contain Solphite.

V: Whoever these AIs are they are learning fast, if they hit or not the Solphite would break up the ground and cause us to not cross.

Thursday aimed for one of the rocket launchers and took it out together with the Spartan.

Thursday: Then take them out.

While everyone was taking out the communication areas Rory saw some aircrafts coming in!

Rory: Everyone aircrafts are coming our way, I think they are armed with Solphite missiles.

Thursday: Prototypes, take them out now!

Rory: Permission to commence pursuit?

Thursday: Granted, take them out now before they take out anyone else.

Rory: Hold on tight.

Rory turned around and went after the aircrafts. They started to open fire on Rory; she was dodging them and trying to get close to let the team on her back takes them down from them reaching their target. The Arachne Spartan, Wolf Spartan and two other Spartans on her back taking shots. There were five ships heading inland when they got over land.

Willac: Rory, use your dragon's breath to set them on fire. Maybe you can get them to blow up if your fire gets to the fuel rods.

Vile: With how you are built maybe you can hold a bigger breath than I can.

Rory: I'll try.

Rory charged up to do a fire breath by opening her supercharger valves all the way. She started to breath her dragon's breath and she could hold it for way longer than Vile, she was setting them on fire but they were not exploding, yet.

Human: I got an idea, help me to her mouth.

The other Spartans assisted that Spartan to Rory's mouth.

Human: Rory, I got an idea, open up.

The Human ejected a bullet from the sniper rifle and grabbed it. He placed it in Rory's mouth and she closed it.

Human: Aim in front of the plane and fire the bullet right into the plane.

Thursday: They just passed the dam, where are they heading?

Human: I would go after AI City at this point.

Thursday: Knock them out of the sky!

Rory did her dragon's breath with the bullet in her mouth. She fired and the bullet came out of her mouth covered in fire. The bullet made contact with the ship and it exploded.

Rory: It worked.

Human: Another shell coming your way!

Rory and the human worked together by the Spartan placing the bullet in her mouth then she fired the bullet at the planes. It took a couple of tries and they knocked down three planes but the other one was getting dangerously close to AI city.

Human: Oh no you don't!

The Normal Spartan made a run up Rory's spine and made a jump for the aircraft, it barely caught the wing and it was going for the missiles. The AI zombie inside was ready to launch and the Human Spartan latched onto the bottom.

Human: Let's see if you can drive with someone else at the wheel.

The Spartan fired its thrusters and was driving the aircraft off-course.

Thursday: You have to stop that plane before it gets a chance to launch!

Human: Initiating Self-destruct.

The human pulled a lever and he was ejected out the back of the Spartan, he had on a parachute so that he would land safely. The Spartan exploded and it took the aircraft down with it, the aircraft crashed and it was buried in the ground. The human pulled his parachute and was gliding in the air. Rory came in and hovered under the human so that he could land on her and get back to the fight. Once he landed he released the first parachute and hooked onto the other normal Spartan on the way back but more planes were coming in.

Vile: Again?

Just then Aria called over the com.

Aria: Counter-measures activated.

Missiles came from the cities they visited and intercepted the aircrafts to take them out.

Thursday: That was cutting it a little close!

Aria: There was no signature to make direct contact with the aircraft until we put the signature for the Solphite in and it made a lock.

Thursday: Non-detectable aircrafts, when did they come up with that one?

Olivia: It was in the origin hive mind, they must have kept separate blueprints somewhere else.

Thursday: Or must have built them before you blew the place apart.

V: We are going to need some anti-air set to deal with them while we cross.

Aria: Already on its way, also a new Spartan to replace the other one.

Vile: All three communication outposts have been destroyed.

Rev: That is everything on this side of the world, everything west is still under control

Thursday: Ok, let's get crossing.

Everyone came back together and secured the remaining AIs that were at the communications, The Serpent lined up with the new Spartan and anti-air compartment to take out air defenses. Rory and Vile were ready to go as well after Rory and the Serpent topped off their tanks, oil, nitrous and energy storage.

Aria: All right Serpents, we have to use the ice laser in bursts so that it doesn't overheat. So you have to use the Serpent for some flight time till it cools down.

Thursday: How long?

Aria: Fifteen minutes, the water AIs are helping with the cool down process so we can fire again.

Rev: But we careful, we have to cut through the extreme zone and that is either above or below all of you so keep alert.

Thursday: Fire it up.

Aria aimed the laser at the shoreline and fired. The laser started to create an ice bridge for the Serpent to cross, Aria made it thick enough for them to cross. Kym is able to cross the sea comfortably since she has the shell while Rory and Vile kept to the skies to keep an eye on things. Everyone was keeping an eye on things in the sky and underwater. There were planes passing by them from a distance to keep away from them but the missile launchers from the cities were taking them down. The team was on their way to the western continents so that they can eliminate the AI zombies there so that the threat could be mostly under control before they went after the central computer.
