In the monster dimension the team heading to the west was having their ups and downs on the road. They were experiencing several different battles and finding artifacts. They were approaching a new city, from the look of all world maps combined; they were located in Russian territory. They saw some bears coming their way, they were ready to defend but they came to a stop. They turned into human-bear hybrids when they got close enough. The team still had the portable translators to understand everyone.

Bear: We are here to escort you to the city.

Nick: Lead the way.

They all transformed back into bears and were their escort to Bear Caves. When they got there everyone was a mix of bear, some bears had different dens and houses to accommodate them. Cinde transformed into a dragon and waited outside for the team to come back because she was way too big for the caves. They got to the king and they bowed in respect to him.

Bear King: Welcome travelers, you must be weary after your travels, rise.

All five of them stood up.

Bear King: Make sure they have what they need to continue their journey.

Bear: Yes my king.

Bear King: Come, I would like to discuss some things with you all.

All five of them went to the king's chamber.

Bear King: I was told you all came through from another dimension and is currently dealing with those abominations that is currently pillaging our cities and villages.

Nick: We are my lord.

Bear King: Please, you can call me Millo and you can drop the formalities in here.

Everyone sighs

Nick: I thought I was doing the whole thing wrong.

Millo: No, you did well enough. The reason why I called you here is because of these hybrid children I have been hearing of.

Everyone was puzzled.

Cyber: Isn't there a queen to you?

Millo: True, but I have a unique taste.

Penny: Hold up player, how unique we talking here?

Millo: -snickers- Very.

Nick: Well you can start digging when we finish this threat and things are even. We got a letter stating that all three dimensions are currently under siege.

Millo: I see, so all of us are going to have to work together to get back to peace.

Nick: Yes.

Millo: You have our support then to end this crisis, take what you need and hunt whoever is doing this.

Just then Cinde was listening to the outside; she heard something running towards the caves. Cinde roared and that alerted everyone there. Everyone was on guard when she went defensive. Dragons have a better hearing since than others so, she heard things way farther than the bears.

Everyone came out in time.

Nick: What is it?!

Cinde brought her head down and let Nick get on. She raised her head and both of them saw a small army of 100 Frankensteins coming their way.

Nick: That is certainly not good.

Cinde lowers her head and Nick gets off.

Nick: There are about one hundred Frankensteins out there ready to take the Caves.

AI: That is not good, of they are as strong as they are fast we need some power on our side other than Cinde to fight those things.

Millo: We have something for you actually; it is actually a set of artifacts that work together to give a special power. We have been collecting them for you and it is for a heavy user.

They brought out the artifacts and it was a set of armor and a massive tomahawk axe.

Nick took the armor and put on the set on. Once he took up the massive tomahawk axe he felt new power surging through him with the dragon power he had.

Nick: Whoa.

Nick felt he should throw the tomahawk so he threw it, after it got a distance away it came back to him after a certain distance right back to his hand.

Nick: I like.

Nick went back for his pickaxe and picked it up, with this new power coming from the armor it went to the pickaxe.

Cinde: How we doing this Nick?

Nick: As a team, Wilco, you are with Cinde, shoot as much you can down, the rest of us, hold the line with the bears. AIs you better be at full battery for this fight.

Everyone got themselves ready and went outside the city. Wilco got on Cinde and they took to the air. The Frankensteins were coming in hard towards the castle. Out of nowhere, arrows and fireballs were raining down on them. Some of the Frankensteins were responding by breathing fireballs back at them and they were responding. They dodged and kept the flying types on them to lighten the load. Nick threw the tomahawk right at one of them and it split the Frankenstein's head straight down the middle. Nick called back the tomahawk to him and everyone else stood in a line.

Nick: We need one alive, kill the rest, help each other and watch each other's backs.

Everyone charged forward and started to attack, everyone worked together to defeat the Frankensteins, it was major bloodshed for either side. Siri was moving fast against each opponent, she was cutting through each opponent before they realized. Troy was using his shield to block while the Frankenstein and deliver a magic strike with his mace. Penny was using her magic to try to keep the playing field even and provide assistance where necessary. They were fighting with serious bloodshed everywhere.

Each Frankenstein is unique and has a few similarities but fights differently so you had to change how you fight which could mess a person up so it was easy to mess up the opponent and get them off. The battle lasted for over an hour, the support from the team was able to overcome them. Everyone came together and had a Frankenstein pinned down.

Nick: Everyone all right?

Troy: Yeah, that was more difficult than anticipated.

Siri: At least we caught one.

Nick: We need to get this back to the fort to analyze where they came from and figure out their weaknesses.

Just then a portal opened up a woman came out and she was furious.

Woman: My babies.

Nick: Siri...

Siri: Recording.

The woman comes over to one of them and it was barely alive she rubbed its head and then it passed away.

Woman: You!

Penny: Boss fight?

Nick: Seems like it!

All seven of them came back in a line.

Nick: Everybody still got some left in the tank?

Troy: What are you thinking?

Nick: A team move.

Siri started to run forward, the woman was doing magic spells to hit Siri but she kept dodging, Nick threw the tomahawk right past her then called it back, she got hit, it threw her off balance enough for Troy to come in and use his shield to block attacks. Penny and Cinde were charging up to do a massive attack, she summoned two more of the Frankensteins to assist to keep Nick and Siri occupied. Troy was keeping her occupied but he was barely keeping up with her.

Penny: Troy, move!

Troy got out of the way to let Cinde and Penny fire their shot. Penny fired a beam of light from her hands and Cinde fired her dragon breath right at the woman, she put up a magic shield and was being blown back, she opened up a portal behind her while she was being drawn back.

Woman: Return to me my pretties, we shall fight another day.

All three of them jumped in and closed the portal before the shield broke. They got away clean but everyone was either tired or low on energy.

Siri: That was close.

Penny: No kidding, I am totally burnt out.

Millo came out and saw the carnage.

Millo: Get the heroes inside; make sure they are well treated.

Nick: Troy and Siri can't be submerged in water.

Siri: Get us some extremely cold water and we can cool ourselves down.

The bears transformed themselves and let the team got on their backs. They brought them inside and brought some food for Cinde.

They helped them out of their armor once they got them inside and set them down in a pool of hot water. They put their weapons on the side and bandaged up Penny's hands. They also brought in the Frankenstein and had him chained down. The bears brought the water as instructed and Siri and Troy got a tube to filter the water into and out of their system to cool it down and change their power cells.

Penny: I have seriously got to start building my resistance to this stuff; I swear I burned my hands.

Nick: Wasn't there something in the herb book for that?

Penny: Yeah but there wasn't the right herb on the roads, collected enough for small healing and poison removal as well as some other ones for various potions but don't have everything.

Millo: Rest and recover yourselves, we will give you some rest time.

All of them left except the team, you could see the steam coming from Troy and Siri but Siri had way more steam coming out of her.

Wilco: Whoa, you guys are overheating more than a hot spring.

Siri: Doing all of that running and moving takes its toll on my systems; I need another way to cool my systems down.

Penny: Or use the heat to your advantage.

Siri: What are you implying?

Penny: In this time and age we used to call mechanics steam punks; they used to use heat and water to power their machines, if we can modify your body to use the same principle...

Siri: I can keep myself optimal and at top speed.

Nick: You just need to find a blacksmith and a little modification for it to work.

Wilco: One problem, you need something to carry or synthesize the water and be able to hold the steam.

Siri: We don't have many insides as you guys so we have room for modifications.

Nick: Let's get some rest before doing that.

After three hours of recovering, they went into town looking for supplies and help. They went to the blacksmith and were making parts with his help. Once everything was set and paid for, they went back to the palace and Siri laid down and opened up her chassis.

Nick: Ok, tell us what to do.

All of them worked together to install the steam punk modification to Siri. Once they were done and Troy made sure everything was working properly, Siri closed her chassis and began working with the modification.

Siri: It's not the best but it will have to do.

Siri got up and was working with the new modification to keep things cooled down.

Nick: Let's split up and head back into town, we might need what we can from the stores here, I'll hit the mines to gather more cash for the bears.

Everyone split up from the palace, Nick went with Siri, Troy went with Penny and Cyber went with Wilco. The mines were smaller than a dragon but big enough for a bear comfortably. Nick asked for where the mines were and Millo pointed him to them. He brought along his pickaxe and an escort was given to him.

Bear Escort: Here you are.

Nick: Still got that sonar software?

Siri: Thought you might need it.

Siri was ready and Nick hit the wall giving Siri a view of the area. Once they had their mapping Nick went to the side and was working his magic. Troy and Penny were buying herbs and necessities, Cyber and Wilco went to the blacksmith with everyone's weapons and armor to make sure they were in good condition before leaving the city.

Siri was in the caves testing out her steam punk modification, it was helping her keep cool but not a lot, so she had to manage the heat and water so that she could do more

Siri: Going to have to use this sparingly after I overheat until I find a decent Steam punker.

Nick: I wonder if there is a steam punker here?

Siri: Could be, we will have to see if there is one.

Nick: We should ask the king.

Over six hours had passed and Nick was done with the mining and he made a massive haul once again. Everyone came back together and checked what they had before settling for the night. The bears brought coats to keep them warm while they kept watch. Cinde was keeping an eye with Wilco on her head. Both of them were keeping an eye out while the others were cooling down or getting some rest. Nick switched with Wilco when it was his turn and he went down with the rest of the team while Nick stood guard.

Nick: Anything?

Cinde: Nothing yet.

Nick: -sighs- My first boss fight and it was a she controlling those things.

Cinde: What was she to say the least?

Nick: No idea but she looks to be of some sort of plant, might have to do some research to see what, but one thing is for sure she is a mage, to be more specific a necromancer.

Cinde: No one ever goes to dark magic, even the dark dragons go that far.

Nick: So dark dragons don't study their heritage?

Cinde Only attack, defend and their inherited powers, even though the books are guarded, no one has gone after them for generations.

Nick: Well, someone has gone after those books and knows what they can do now with that power.

Cinde: What else can they do with that power; no one really looks that way.

Nick: Whatever power she has, it is not the end of it.

At the woman's secret location, she was using her magic to heal up her back from Nick's tomahawk throw and recall to damage her. She was in pain a little from it healing but she got through it.

Woman: -Panting-

One of her creations came to her and was whining.

Woman: It is alright my sweet, mommy is alright.

The creature came and licked the wound until it is clean.

Woman: Thank you my dear.

She got back up and she put her hand on the creature and soothes its head.

Woman: They got lucky at that attack that hurt me from going full power. It will take a while for me to regain my full strength.

She was going through her castle and at the bottom, in the basement there was a garden but this was no ordinary garden. The parts that were being gathered from all around the world were being fed into the plant. Several pods were holding some of the parts and one of them emerged with the parts bound together and alive.

Woman: Soon my pretties, we will have enough to take this world and make it for our own.

Looks like this fight is not over by a long shot, the team may have gotten lucky with that fight but it wasn't going to be easy from then on. Everyone would have to train to beat the evil that is waiting for them.
