Back in the normal dimension, they were searching for the next scientist but they were turning up with nothing.

Mima: Nothing on the tracker Matchstick gave us, he much have ditched it or is somewhere it can't broadcast.

Seth: Anything from the little bag of horrors?

Xiao: They matched up and they are people who are known to work in the black market.

Mima: Can you see what they sold to the scientist?

Rick: Matchstick could only get a few things they collected before he went off the grid.

Seth: How are the Medusas holding up?

Rick: Last contact with him he said they are working ok and they are getting him out of tight spots.

Pure: Keep searching, everyone is not safe with this demon threat around, especially the children.

Seth: We need to figure out how these guys are hiding so well as well.

Pure: Good point.

Mima: I will increase the search parameters.

Meanwhile Zero was walking to the cafeteria when he could feel the presence of someone familiar, Kyoko was hiding behind a wall.

Zero: -grunts-

Snow sees him a little frustrated.

Snow: Something wrong?

Zero: A Neko named Kyoko is a rough one and she told me to stay out of her way but I get the usual feeling she is stalking me.

Snow: You know, she might like you but is taking a rough approach.

Zero: Rough!? She nearly sunk her claws into me!

Snow: Then you got two options, play the prey or a stronger predator.

Zero: If you mean take her on, I would give it a shot.

Snow: I'm heading to the training area; to do a little sparring with my little brother Randal, want to join?

Zero: Sure.

Zero and Snow head to the training area where Randal was dominating the other two wolves comfortably.

Randal: Come on, I'm not even breaking a sweat; I even toned it down since I am part mechanical.

Randal had on boxing gloves to keep things even and not to harm anyone since he is part mechanical.

Werewolf: What have you been training with!? Solid bricks!

Randal: Even with my restrictions, looks like training with the team pays off.

Snow: Then how about a three on one?

Randal: All right.

Zero goes to the side and watches Randal win the match comfortably.

Zero: Wow.

Randal took off the boxing gloves and helped back up the werewolves and Snow back up.

Randal: So what brings you to the training area Zero?

Snow: A Neko is love stalking him and he needs to go on the offensive.

Randal: Hmm, he is not a wolf but learning some of our moves can help, you can learn how to be a wolf to combat her.

Zero: You will teach me?

Snow: Only if you want to.

Zero: If it means getting that Neko off my tail I'm in.

Randal: If you play your cards right, she might like you.

Zero: I don't mind if she does but she has got to watch the claws.

Snow: Get her tamed and she might ease off.

Randal: I'm going to spend some time with my daughter, make sure he is not harmed.

Snow: We know.

Randal heads to his room where Arachnid and Lilith were strengthening their web. Randal climbed into the web and Lilith came to Randal and she went on his chest. He held her and she latched onto his chest.

Lilith: Daddy!!

Randal: That's right, daddy is here.

Arachnid came and sat down on the side and was watching them, Silver was playing around with a ball of yarn with another Neko, the ball went over their heads and into a room that was completely dark. She stopped for a second and was looking around to find the ball.

Voice: Looking for this?

The voice throws back the ball to her and she picks it up.

Neko: Who's there?

A head peeked out of the shadows, it was a dragon that was in his hybrid form the little Neko was scared out of her little mind and started to run but she stopped when the dragon said something.

Dragon: Aren't you going to say thank you?

Neko: Uhhh.... T-thank you?

Dragon: You have every right to fear me but don't be afraid, I won't harm anyone, you can come closer if you want.

Just then they heard Silver's voice.

Silver: Miku, everything alright?

Dragon: Miku is it?

Miku: -gulps-

Dragon: Don't worry Miku, my name is Gear.

Then Silver came in.

Silver: Come on Miku, let's keep playing.

Silver sees Gear.

Gear: Go ahead and play.

Miku went to Silver and they were going out of the room but Miku turned back for a second looking at Gear, she was still scared out of her mind but she was feeling a small sense of calmness coming from Gear. They went back to playing but she looked back towards the room. In the cafeteria Reese was trying out a lot of new things since he was now able to eat and try things he could never try before.

Reese: Mmm, this tastes delicious.

Victoria: Easy now, you don't want to get a stomach ache, those you should never have.

Victoria hands Reese a cup of drink.

Victoria: Flush it down.

Reese takes the drink and drinks it to flush it down.

Reese: -burps hard- Excuse me.

Victoria tries to hold back laughing and Reese sees it on her face. Reese realizes and starts to hold back his laugh. Then both of them started to laugh.

Reese: Never thought that would happen.

Victoria: Me neither.

Victoria wipes a smidge of food off his face.

Reese: Thanks.

Victoria: So, what else is there you want to learn?

Reese: Well, there is the part about the tattoo.

Victoria: Oh no, we are not going there just yet, getting a tattoo is painful, even a small one.

Reese: But?

Victoria: No buts, you get used to your body completely then we go there, besides what would you even want?

Reese: I wasn't going to go big or anything but I was hoping you would make the choice for me.

Victoria: Back to what I was asking before we got interrupted, why do you want to feel my pain?

Reese: It intrigues me on how you, Pure, Alisha, Carolina, all of you went through pain to be here now.

Victoria: Pain is something to not be taken lightly; it can either make us or break us. Pain made us but it broke others, like who we have faced, the pain broke them, made them hell bent on making others feel the pain that they felt. In the end we can't run from pain, all we can do is how to deal with it and move on with the pain as a lesson.

Reese: Then can I take that lesson?

Victoria: It will be a small one when you are getting the tattoo, but you still have to get fully used to walking then your Exo-suit.

Reese: Exo-suit?

Victoria: We have an Exo-suit either in or on all of us to get around better and carry extra weight. It's how our armor doesn't impair us.

Reese: So how am I coming with walking normally?

Victoria: You are getting there but you still need practice. Chun is watching the children with Tanya, so I have to help you out.

Reese: How nice of you.

Victoria: Don't get any ideas; you are still on probation from the missile.

Reese: Ok.

Victoria helps Reese as a little support as he continues to walk. In the forest Miguel, Blossom, Violet and Raheem were helping around the forest and everyone could see the changes to their bodies.

AI: Did something happen to Blossom, Miguel, Raheem and Violet that we don't know about?

Abagail: They have completely bonded to each other and the forest, which is why their tattoos expanded and their bond for each other has grown over time, like a seed becoming a tree.

Ivy: How much is their bond for each other?

Abagail: Beyond unbreakable.

Werewolf: So they are mates for life?

Abagail: You could say that, yes.

Ivy: No one has ever seen the dryads bond so well to another species; much less get that far into a relationship.

Abagail: So how is it for you guys on your side?

Werewolf: Some of us like the idea of cross-species relationships but you get the usual shame thing from time to time.

Abagail: Well that is just stupid, like it or not, if you love them then that is all that matters.

Ivy: Not the way how we see it, some of us actually kill their lover to teach them a lesson.

Abagail: Now that is just insane.

Harpy: Now that I have seen them together like that, I think it is insane.

Abagail: Love like that is extremely rare but it is the most beautiful thing that can happen.

AI: Like the hybrid kids back at the fort.

Abagail: Exactly.

Ai: I'm going to help Rose in the fields to see what I can learn from her.

Abagail: Alright.

Everyone splits up and goes their separate ways. The Ai goes into the fields where Rose was putting some new plants and flowers.

Ai: Hello Rose.

Rose sees the Ai and she waves her hand, the Ai kneels down and sees what she is doing. She was digging small holes to put some new flowers from the greenhouses she has been taking care of from seeds.

AI: Can I help?

Rose nods yes and the AI picks up a small shovel, counts how much plants she has left and dug appropriate holes for the flowers. Rose came in a line, took the plants from their pots and placed them down gently. She covered up the roots and moved onto the next one, when all of the plants were placed down Rose started to water the plants with a watering can she had with her, the AI went and got one too and brought extra water in a bucket.

AI: Here you go.

The AI filled up her watering can and came close to Rose to water them with her. He started to pour it on the flower so Rose gently pushed the nozzle and went in a circular motion around the flower.

AI: Around the flower?

Rose nods yes and they work together and make sure all of the flowers were all taken care of. Once the fields were taken care of they went back to the forest and went their separate ways. Rose went to wash the dirt off her hands and the AI went to dust his off since electricity and water don't mix but Rose came to the AI and helped him get the dirt off. Then she went to get some gloves for the AI and she gave them to him.

AI: Thank you Rose.

Rose points at the AI.

AI: My name?

Rose nods yes.

AI: My name is Barry.

Rose smiles for a bit then she heads back to her tree, Barry goes to his and plugs into his station to recharge himself. Thoughts about the relationships and the forest were still going through his CPU. Even though they were from different dimensions, different species they still formed a bond and they work together. He put himself into sleep mode and allowed himself to charge. Everything was going fine in the forest but how long will that last with the threat present.
