In the normal dimension, the next day, at the bakery, Iris and Cedar were hard at work with completing orders. Iris was handling the new equipment and ovens like a pro and all of the cakes she was doing were perfect. When she was done with them, she sent them to Cedar who was doing the icing for every single cake from her. Carolina's children checked each cake and made sure it was good before sending.

Iris: Order done, Triple layer cake with chocolate bits, needs mint icing with small chunks of chocolate.

Cedar: Coming in.

Cedar worked on the cake and made sure it was exact and to the order's specifications.

Cedar: Order done.

Gwen came and checked their cake.

Gwen: Good to go.

Cedar put the cake into the box and a drone came in and took it up and put it in its cargo hold, it left and headed to its destination

Gwen: All right, that was the last order of the day, good work everyone.

Iris: Phew, it was exhausting but it was fun though.

Gwen: Cedar, you are starting to get like a ninja with a blade with the icing.

Cedar: Looks like my AI side still comes in handy.

Natasha: All right, it's evening and there are no more orders coming in. We let the system pile up the new ones tomorrow.

They do batch orders so that they could get some breathing time but there is a ordering section online so that the bakers could get some breathing time and there was a system so that the customer would know when they are open in their time zone.

Samuel: We got to head to the supermarket to pick up some groceries, you two want to come?

Iris and Cedar looked at each other and then back at the children.

Iris: Us?

Cedar: Won't it be weird?

Natasha: Maybe, or maybe not, who knows?

Samuel: It wouldn't hurt to just try it the first time.

Iris and Cedar looked at each other and thought about it.

Iris: You know I can't come inside right?

Richard: I'll be in the truck with you while they get the groceries.

Iris: Then let's go.

Richard and Samuel get in separate trucks with Iris in Samuel's truck and everyone else get in trucks and heads to the Supermarket. While they were going along Iris sees some children in a bus when they were on the highway. The children in the bus were waving at her and were excited to see her on the road.

Samuel matched the speed of the bus and the children were excited to see her because she was an Arachne and a part of the Destiny Team. Soon enough the bus and where they were going had to split up so Iris said her goodbyes before they split up. When they got to the Supermarket everyone got out and came together.

Cedar: Saw you enjoying yourself back there Iris.

Iris: Children I can handle, it's the adults that has me scared since I am not of this earth.

Gwen: Easy Iris, some people may not get to the idea that we are living together but they will come together eventually.

Natasha: Let's get inside while Richard stays here.

Cedar, Gwen, Natasha and Samuel went inside, Richard stood behind with Iris so she won't be alone. When they got inside. They grabbed some shopping carts and while they were shopping they were talking.

Gwen: So how are things with you and Iris?

Cedar: Things are fine between us, she is starting to take up cooking along with the baking but she does her webbing still.

Samuel: What about the neighbors?

Cedar: I think they are starting to like us, some are coming over to talk and try her cooking and it tastes great.

Natasha: It wasn't easy at the start?

Cedar: No it wasn't but we got the hang of it. Burned a couple things but we got it right after a few tries, even some of the neighbors helped us and things are nice between us.

Natasha: What about you and Iris?

Cedar: We sleep in a web together, talk, watch series and movies.

Gwen: Nothing above that?

Natasha and Samuel look at Gwen.

Gwen: I know you two are thinking it.

Cedar: Both of us are taking it slow, we just sleep in the web to keep each other company.

Samuel: And you know how to shop?

Cedar: I have been keeping track of our inventory and I know what to get, I went with some of the neighbors at a small shop to see how things work.

Cedar: Ok, let's get the essentials.

All four of them continue shopping and getting the essentials like sugar, flour and Cedar was asking about new things he saw. Meanwhile, out in the parking lot, Richard and Iris were on their devices checking on stuff. Richard was on his phone, checking on the orders that were coming in now that they were closed and Iris was checking in at the fort using her scope.

Some people were passing across and saw Iris in the truck doing her own thing, some of them were scared but some were excited. A little girl with a teddy bear came close to her slowly. Iris saw her and took off her scope.

Iris: Hello there.

The girl started to speak but Iris could hear the fear in her voice.

Girl: H-hi.

Iris sees the teddy bear needed a little mending.

Iris: I can fix that for you.

Iris points to the teddy bear and the girl gives it to Iris slowly. Iris takes it and uses her spider skills to carefully stitch the teddy bear right up and she made it better, she made it better by creating outlines on it to make it better. When Iris was done she gave it back to the girl and she was not afraid anymore.

Girl: Thank you.

Iris: You're welcome.

The girl went back to her parents and everyone saw that she was harmless; Richard was watching what was going on. Just then Gwen, Samuel, Natasha and Cedar came with the groceries. They secured them in the other truck and got in to head back home. Iris waved goodbye and they took off back to home. When they got to Iris and Cedar's home, they dropped them off and got their groceries out of the truck and said their goodbyes before Carolina's children left to go to their home.

Iris and Cedar went inside and packed away the groceries before sitting down.

Cedar: Phew, that was a good day.

Iris: It was.

Cedar saw the look on Iris's face.

Cedar: Things will be ok Iris, it just takes time.

Iris: I know.

Cedar gets up.

Iris: Do you want to cook or do you want to order in?

Cedar: Order in, let's order from that Chinese place.

Iris: Ok, the usual?

Cedar: With the chicken balls.

Cedar orders Chinese and it came on delivery, when the person got there, Cedar paid the man and took the food.

Iris: Let's get a bath before we eat.

Cedar: Ok.

Iris: Will you join me?

Cedar: Of course.

Cedar put the Chinese in the oven but didn't light it so that it could be kept warm. They went up to the bath and bathed together. There was a tub installed that was big enough for her to fit in comfortably but it was on the ground floor. Iris and Cedar took off their clothes and Cedar turned on the water and set it to the shower head, there was a small but wide-spreading head to let the water hit all of her. Iris soaped up and Cedar helped her since there were some areas she couldn't reach but Cedar made sure not to go.

When Cedar finished soaping up, Iris helped him soap up before both of them washed off, dried off, put on some fresh clothes to get some dinner, both of them were happy together and things were going fine. Over in the forest, Nathan came from the city to Katelyn and he was with her in her web hugging her but he wasn't so scared anymore.

Katelyn: Feeling better?

Nathan: Yes, I'm not afraid of you anymore.

Katelyn let him go and he was going around the web easily now that he was learning from Katelyn. Katelyn looked at the time and it was getting late.

Katelyn: Don't you need to head back now, it is getting late.

Nathan: Actually... I want to stay the night.

Katelyn: What?

Nathan: I... want to stay the night... with you

Katelyn was shocked as to his request.

Katelyn: What about your parents, they would be looking for you.

Nathan: I just need to call them; I usually stay with friends sometimes.

Katelyn: Then head to Miguel, he has a phone that you can call your parents.

Nathan: Ok.

Nathan got out of the web and headed to Miguel's tree, he went up the stairs and knocked.

Miguel: Come in.

Nathan went inside and saw Miguel working on dinner for him and Blossom.

Miguel: Oh, hi Nathan, what brings you here?

Nathan: Can I call my parents to let them know I will be staying over for the night?

Miguel: Ok, here.

Miguel hands Nathan the satellite phone after he set it for Brazil. Nathan went to the side and called his parents.

Person: Hello?

Nathan: Hey mom.

Nathan's Mom: Hey son, where are you?

Nathan: In the Dryad Forest.

Nathan's Mom: Oh, so that is where you have been going for the past couple days. How are things in there?

Nathan: It's nice, quiet, everyone is friendly.

Nathan's Mom: Even the ones from the other dimensions?

Nathan: Even them, they help here.

Nathan's Mom: So, why did you call? Even though it is getting late.

Nathan: I was thinking of staying over for the night, I came to call to ask if it was ok.

Nathan's Mom: Give the phone to Miguel.

Nathan gave the phone to Miguel so that he could talk to her.

Miguel: Hello?

Nathan's Mom: Hi Miguel, is it really ok for him to stay there?

Miguel: Of course it is, Pure protects us with the drones and we all know how to fight. Plus there is a police barricade and patrol here.

Nathan's Mom: How did he get past the barricade?

Miguel: All he had to do was ask at the door.

Nathan's Mom: I'm worried about him a little.

Miguel: What do you mean?

Nathan's Mom: Nathan has been a little awkward around people, which is why he doesn't have much friends. He stays over by them but I never thought he would actually go to the forest. Only way he would ever go there is because something or someone is there that he has a liking to.

Miguel catches on to what she meant, Miguel whispered in the phone so that Nathan can't hear.

Miguel: -whispering- I think he likes a certain someone in the forest he likes.

Nathan's Mom: Who?

Miguel: -whispering- Katelyn, the spider girl.

Nathan's Mom: Is she dangerous?

Miguel: -whispering- Exact opposite, she calms him down and he is not scared of her.

Nathan's Mom: That would explain why he is so friendly now, as long as he is kept safe, I'll allow him to stay. Last time something like this went wrong, he didn't come out of his room for a week.

Miguel: -whispering- Oh boy.

Nathan's Mom: Exactly.

Miguel: I'll tell him.

Nathan's Mom: Ok, bye and thank you.

Miguel: No trouble at all, bye.

Miguel hangs up.

Miguel: You can stay for the night Nathan, head back to Katelyn.

Nathan: Thanks Miguel.

Nathan heads back out.

Blossom: What made him stay Miguel-kun?

Nathan: It's what about his mother said, he is awkward around people so letting him be him lets him out of his shell. So, Katelyn must be letting him out of it.

Blossom: Do you think those two will be together Miguel-kun?

Miguel: It will take time but it is all up to them.

Miguel finishes dinner.

Miguel: Dinner is ready.

Miguel shared out dinner and Blossom had a big plate to feed her and the baby growing inside her. Back with Nathan he went back to Katelyn.

Nathan: I can stay for the night.

Katelyn: That's good, want to get something to eat?

Nathan: What do they have here?

Katelyn: Come on, we need to get what we need from the storage.

Nathan follows Katelyn to the storage where all the food and cold items.

Katelyn: Pick what you want.

Nathan went through what they had and picked some chicken along with some fruits. Katelyn got some meat of her own and they took it back to the tree. Katelyn cooked the food with a small stove while Nathan waited, when the food was done Katelyn brought it over and they ate. When they were satisfied they went into the web and settled down.

Nathan held onto Katelyn when they were in the web and she kept him calm, they watched a small movie and settled in for the night. Both of them slept in her web with a blanket on, Katelyn was still up a little and she watched him sleeping. Katelyn soon drifted off to sleep holding Nathan and not harming him in any way.

In the morning, Katelyn woke up with Nathan sleeping soundly on her chest. She petted him gently until he woke up.

Nathan: -grunts- Good morning.

Katelyn: Morning, how do you feel?

Nathan: I feel great.

Katelyn: That's good, let's get you some breakfast and let's get you home.

Nathan and Katelyn went outside and they saw everyone doing some breakfast for each other. They came down and ate with them. When everyone was done, Nathan got on Katelyn's abdomen to take him back to the police barricade. Nathan got off and looked back at Katelyn.

Nathan: Bye Katelyn.

Katelyn: Bye Nathan.

Nathan ran off to head back home while Katelyn was watching him; soon enough she headed back into the forest to help out. Nathan was happy he stood over the night. Back at the fort, everyone was still working on the construction site. Aria and Roel were taking it easy a little bit before work.

Roel: Thanks for the water other day.

Aria: No problem, looked like you needed it.

Roel and Aria were happy with each other, helping with the upgrade of the fort and the strengthening of the alliance. Aria got up and was floating with her drones; she came close to Roel and kissed him on the lips. Roel didn't mind and just went with it, even though Roel was bigger than Aria, he just enjoyed it, when they stopped kissing, Aria spoke.

Aria: See you tonight?

Roel: Can't wait.

Roel and Aria split up from there and went back to work, Roel went outside and went with the construction crews who were happy to see him come out to assist. Everyone was starting to slowly starting to like the monsters and AIs that are now living with them and for everyone, they want them to stay to help and work in unison.
