In the normal dimension, it was time for the six second challenge for Lisa, Liz hasn't given birth yet at this stage but it was getting there. Andre, Leslie and Aylia were coming as well. They did one final check of Trailblazer and brought along extra nitrous bottles and tires along with a tool set to for anything. Trinity was giving them a lift to the event to shave time.

Pure: Tires?

Andre: Check.

Pure: Bottles?

Aylia: Check.

Pure: Car and Driver?

Lisa: Ready to go.

Pure: Alright, I got the tools.

Trinity: Ok, we are moving out.

Pure: We will be back later sweeties.

Alisha: Have fun.

Trinity fired up her train and Pure opened a portal. Trinity's train and two trailers went through. On the other side she came through to the event. Andre, Leslie and Aylia saw several high-powered cars and a mile-long track to launch off. They saw two cars launching off the lines at insane speeds. A police car came in front of Trinity and was escorting her to their spot for the event.

They parked and Trinity detached the train and parked it next to them. The same driver that gave Lisa the challenge came to Pure.

Driver 1: Glad you could make it.

Pure: Wouldn't want to disappoint.

Driver: So, where is the girl of the hour?

Pure whistles and the trailer opens up, Lisa starts up the car and revs up the engine, then she blasted the omegacharger which sent out a shockwave of air. Everyone nearby got a blast of the air from the omegacharger while the sound of it was heard by everyone, in which everyone went silent. Lisa drove the car out and came to Pure and the driver.

Lisa got out of the car and she was in full racer uniform, it was black with blue threading, the symbol of the fort and flags going all the way down it, compliments of Arachnid and the spider girls. Lisa also had a racing helmet that was like Pure's hat so it could come off easily.

Lisa pressed a button and her helmet came undone, she took it off and it came back together in her hand.

Lisa: You rang?

Driver 1:Whoa, look at you.

Lisa: Yeah, took a while but got her ready.

Driver 1: I see, what do you have under there?

Lisa: A prototype omegacharger.

Driver 1: Omegacharger?

Pure: A little combined tech from all of the dimensions.

Driver 1: She worked on this?

Pure: Got her certified and got her licenses.

Driver 1: Sweet, let's get her and this car to inspection, who did the paintjob?

Pure: That would be Leslie and Aylia over there.

Driver 1: Whew, ghost girl been putting in work.

Pure, Lisa, Andre, Leslie and Aylia took the car to inspection to make sure they could race while Trinity guarded their stuff. Pure whistled and brought Thunder out of the trailers as well. Once they got to the inspection, everything checked out for Trailblazer. Thunder was there to set the standard. Lisa drove Trailblazer over to the wait section with the other drivers. She was checking Trailblazer and talking to the other drivers, they were friendly and were wishing her good luck in the race but that was short-lived a little when she saw a familiar face, Driver 2.

Driver 2: How did you even get past inspection with that?

Lisa: Same way you did.

Driver 2: I doubt that would even make ten seconds.

Just then another driver came in.

Driver 3: Hey, back off , she earned her right to be here just as much as you, don't make a hassle.

Driver 2: Fine.

Driver 2 walks away.

Driver 3: Sorry, he has been really salty ever since you beat him in that race a couple months back, watch yourself around him.

Lisa: Alright.

Just then Pure was on the com.

Pure: Ok Lisa, I'm just here to set a good baseline, you bring it with everything you got.

Lisa: Got it.

Pure was on the track and you could hear Thunder ready to go. He heated up the tires and came into the starting block. He revved up and was ready to launch. Pure waited until the lights hit green and he was out of the block like lightning. Pure activated the nitrous and it left blue fire behind. When Pure crossed the line he hit 5.98 seconds a very good time for the drivers to reach.

Lisa: I know that car can go faster.

Pure: I know, didn't want everyone else to look bad. Now warm up the bottles.

Lisa: You got it.

Lisa had a bottle warmer installed for the nitrous bottles. Andre, Leslie and Aylia were watching with some mini-drones watching them and Trinity keeping an eye on their station. Lisa waited her turn and then it was time for her to launch.

Andre: Ok, I have been going over the scoreboard, they judge you by your time, build and launches. There is also a bonus on using cars with superchargers so Lisa has an advantage.

Pure: But it doesn't mean she shouldn't hold back.

Leslie: Good luck.

Lisa came into the track and heated up the tires and with the custom adjustable drivetrain she was able to heat up the back tires to how she needed them. Once she had them heated she came to the starting block, this was where she switched the car to all-wheel drive. Lisa then waited for the lights to hit green and when they did, the tires gripped hard and she was down the track with the nitrous activated. Trailblazer did a small wheelie when leaving the line but that was to be expected for a muscle car.

When Lisa crossed the line, she pressed the button to pull the parachutes.

Andre: A 6.15, reaction time needs a little work, she was almost a half second on that launch but her shifts were perfect.

Lisa: First event jitters.

Pure: Yeah, first time is always difficult, hopefully you can shake it off on the next run.

Lisa: I'm bringing her in, see if we can adjust where power is going to rip down the track faster.

Andre: Well, you placed in the top ten with that performance on the muscle side, not a lot of people picked that route.

Pure: And overall?

Andre: She is in the top quarter, with a few improvements we could have a shot for the podium.

Lisa brought the car over to the train and they did some work.

Lisa: I set her to sixty percent in the back and forty to the front to let the car grip better after it gets out of the wheelie.

Pure: Set it to seventy back and thirty front, we don't want that much spin to not let the tires grip.

Lisa: I'm also thinking of using a shorter gear.

Pure: Go for it.

Lisa took the driver suit down to her waist and she had overalls on, she put her helmet on the side and went under the car to change the gear in the back suspension to a smaller one to get more speed. Pure got the tools out and she changed it in time for another pass.

Andre: A 6.08, reaction time is better and you got to work on the shifts.

Pure: Ok, hone yourself in from there.

Lisa: Got it.

It was a blast there at the track, with every pass, Lisa was getting better at the passes and was moving up the leaderboard. Andre, Leslie Aylia were enjoying themselves with the cars ripping it down the track. It was down to the final two passes and Lisa was in the top ten.

Pure: Looking good Lisa, two runs remain.

Just then someone from in the crowd threw something under the car and it exploded.

Andre: Pure!

Pure: On it.

The drones were keeping an eye on things and Pure got the person responsible while trying to make a run for it.

Andre, Leslie Aylia and Lisa were checking the car for damages. Pure brought them over and everyone knew where he came from.

Pure: Take one big guess.

Lisa: He's from the rival driver's crew.

An Official came over.

Official: Your team is hereby disqualified from the event.

Pure: Can Trailblazer still race?

Lisa: She could do with some repair but her front drivetrain is completely busted, I'll have to send the power to the back completely.

Andre: Can't you fix it in no time flat?

Pure: No, this one has to be her own, I can help with repairs but not anything instant like last time.

Official: Agreed.

Andre: Did you pack a spare?

Pure: Not enough time, we have to make the front dead.

Just then Leslie had an idea.

Leslie: I got a crazy idea.

Lisa: What is it?

Leslie: What about wheelie burning it down the track?

Lisa: Whoa, whoa, whoa, you mean two wheel this monster down the road?

Pure: Could work, we got the weight, we just need the power going the right direction.

Andre: Then what are we waiting for?

Driver 1: Mind if we help?

Some of the other drivers came to help.

Pure: More the merrier

All five of them got into the station and were working on the repairs, some of the other drivers that were no longer qualified were also helping with modifying the car. Pure added some wheelie bars to help with two-wheeling, while everyone else got the front repaired along with any other damages. The inspectors cleared Lisa again to make sure everything was good. Pure was in the starting block this time giving Lisa some advice.

Pure: Ok, we did some adjustments, the nitrous is set for power over duration so she is going to kick a lot when the nitrous activates, the omegacharger is giving off way more power but the engine can take it, all you got to do is punch it and make the six seconds.

Lisa: Got it, any tips?

Pure: Make sure your straps are on tight, because this thing will take off like a bitch.

Lisa checked her harnesses and make sure she was secured in her seat. She came onto the track and heated up the tires. Once she had that done she came into the starting block, when the lights hit green Lisa gunned it and it went on two wheels and was taking off hard down the track.

Andre: A 6.25, she handled it right but she needs something to rip it hard.

Lisa: And I only got one ore pass, I'm setting the omegacharger to full power.

Aylia: Are you nuts, the whole engine will blow before you can even get out the door.

Lisa: Not if I send the power with the nitrous.

Andre: So much air is going to be in that it might as well be a rocket.

Pure: It only needs to go under six, do it.

Lisa did the adjustments and came back to the beginning of the track, she heated up the tires and came to the starting block. She exhaled and was ready to launch and this time she felt what she had to do. When the lights hit green, she was just gone. Everyone could see her tearing down the track awith a sonic boom cone around the car. The omegacharger was taking the air around her to create a wind tunnel for her to blast her right to the fnish line. Lisa had to shut the whole car down to make it stop, when she did she heard everyone cheering.

Andre: Lisa, that was a 5.72 with that pass!

Lisa: -panting- Good, I feel like I need to lie down.

Pure: I'm on my way.

Lisa got out of the car and sat down on the ground, she was really dizzy from that run. Pure ,Andre, Leslie, Aylia and the other drivers came to her aid. Lisa took her helmet off and it dropped to her side.

Pure: You ok Lisa?

Lisa: -panting- Just woozy.

Driver 1: And with good reason, that was a wind tunnel she created with that omegacharger she is packing. At least her suit and how the car is built took most of it.

Pure got her some water and he got her up and set her down on a stretcher. After she caught herself the results were in.

Andre: Lisa you placed in the top 5 overall but got MVP from that last pass. No podium win though.

Pure: But MVP is a start.

Just then Driver 2 came to them but Pure intercepted.

Pure: You will go no further.

Driver 2: That MVP is mine!

Andre: You didn't earn it, she did.

Driver 2: What do you know kid?

Person: He knows way more than he thinks.

Someone came to the team.

Person: I am his sponsor, well, ex-sponsor now, he broke his contract when he pulled that stunt. As such we would like to cover the damages and would like to extend a contract to Lisa and Andre.

Lisa: Say wha?

Person: I have been keeping an eye on you and Andre for a while and online as well, you both have skills and potential.

Lisa: Whoa, whoa, whoa, why even give me a chance?

Sponsor: You are not the only person who believes in second chances.

Pure: You aren't going for combined tech are you?

Sponsor: No, no, we just want the sponsorship, how you build vehicles is up to you.

Andre: I know the rules, what's the catch?

Sponsor: None.

Pure gives the Sponsor a card.

Pure: We can talk the contract a little later, we need to get her and the car home to get checked on.

Sponsor: Of course.

Pure calls over the com.

Pure: Prepare a sick bay, Lisa is going to need it.

Doctor: On it, also, there is someone else to meet.

Pure: You mean?

Doctor: Yes.

Everyone packed up and headed home with a portal, when they got back to the fort Pure picked up Lisa and took her to the hospital.

Doctor: Set her down here.

Pure set Lisa down and the doctor checked on her.

Doctor: Just lack of air from going that fast but I'll run more tests to be sure.

The Doctor gave Lisa an oxygen mask and she put it on.

Pure: Get some tests done then head back to hell to refuel, take one of the other girls with you in case something goes wrong.

Lisa: -with a mask on- Ok.

Doctor: Right now, Liz and Daiyu are over there.

All of them look over to Liz and Daiyu and they could see them with their new daughter. She was light-skinned, had her usual demon horns and wings but what was different here was that one of her wings were completely white while the other one was black. Pure went over to them.

Pure: Hey you two, how is she?

Liz: Perfectly healthy.

Pure: What's with the white wing?

Daiyu: A little gift from Shen and it's not a demon wing.

Pure: What?

Pure took a closer look and it wasn't a demon wing, it was an angel wing.

Pure: Whoa, now that is something special.

Daiyu: How did the race go?

Pure: Didn't get podium but got MVP.

Daiyu: That's a nice start.

Pure: OK. I'm going to get Andre, Leslie and Aylia home and going to spend time with my kids.

Daiyu: Go.

Pure left Liz and Daiyu to cherish their newborn child, pure stopped and asked a question before he left.

Pure: Oh, by the way, what did you name her?

Liz: Her name is Tiānshǐ, our little Angel.

Pure: Nice.

After Pure dropped off Andre, Leslie and Aylia after their day of fun, Pure looks for Alisha, Carolina, Pure Jr. and Auriella. He found them in the park. He went there and found all four of them in the play park playing. Pure put his sword and equipment to the side and joined them.

Pure: Hey you four.

Auriella: Daddy!

Pure Jr. Dada!

The kids went to Pure, he picked them up and hugged.

Pure: Hey you two, did you miss me?

Pure jr.: Yeah.

Pure came and sat down on a bench, Alisha and Carolina sat down with him.

Carolina: How did it go?

Pure: Lisa didn't get podium but she got MVP, she also got a chance at a sponsorship.

Alisha: That's nice.

Pure: Yeah, things are really coming together

Pure looks around and he could see some of the couples together including Mingyu and Younghee, they were sitting down having a picnic. Just then it looked like it was setting up to rain.

Pure: We should head inside, looks like rain.

All five of them picked up their things and went inside but that wasn't the case with Mingyu and Younghee.

Mingyu: So you really want to run around in the rain?

Younghee: It was something I liked to do as a kid, it was fun.

Mingyu: Well, it is something new to try.

Mingyu put the blanket inside the picnic basket, it was a metal box so nothing inside could get wet. Mingyu then came back to Younghee and both of them looked up. Soon enough the clouds got darker and it started to rain. Younghee could feel the drops of water on her skin and Mingyu did too. Soon enough it started to pour and Younghee started to run through the rain.

Mingyu started to watch her run through the rain and he finally got what Younghee meant. Mingyu started to feel a sense of freedom so he started to run with her. Soon enough both of them were completely soaked but they didn't care. They were just having fun and enjoying themselves. After they were done running they laid down on the ground together laughing, looking up at the sky with the rain dropping on their faces. Soon enough it started to really pour so they got up and picked up the box. They started to head to the specialist section where Younghee decided to live. Both of them went straight into her apartment and went inside .

Mingyu: OK, I can see why you loved that.

Younghee: Yeah, but you need a hot shower afterwards.

Mingyu: Got it.

Younghee: Would you like to join me?

Mingyu was confused.

Younghee: I'm not doing anything like that, just bathing at the same time.

Mingyu: Ok.

Both of them went into the bathroom and started to bathe in hot water. Mingyu and Younghee bathed each other and explored each other a little before getting out and drying each other off. They put on some dry clothes and Younghee put on a kettle for a really big bowl of ramen to share. Mingyu got a really big, thick blanket. Both of the came together on the couch.

Both of them bundled up, had the big bowl of ramen inbetween them. Younghee grabbed a tablet and a stand so they could watch a movie. While they were watching the movie, Younghee and Mingyu went closer to each other and had the ramen bowl in Mingyu's lap since he had the heat resistance. Younghee rested her head on his shoulder and Mingyu put his hand around her torso. Younghee put her tail in his other hand and he held onto it.

Now that the second nightmare was over, there was nothing holding anything back. Eric and Anne were in their nest. Roel and Aria were sleeping together, Renee and Taeyoung were enjoying a swim Adam and Cariño were talking, Iff was in a ball with Leo and Silver was hugging Josh. With the Alliance now given a good base, there is no room for nightmares, not now, not ever.
