Back in the normal dimension, it was a weekend and everyone was taking it easy from the construction site, a few were doing a little construction like Seth who were controlling the Nanites to get the delicate work done. Just then Pure got a call.

Pure: Hello?

Person: Hello Pure, we are waiting on you at the showcase.

Pure: Got it, on my way.

Pure hung up and called Andre.

Andre: Hey Pure.

Pure: Ready to go?

Andre: Yeah, waiting on you.

Pure: All right, I'm bringing Lisa.

Pure hung up and called Lisa over the com.

Pure: Ready to go Lisa?

Lisa: My car is ready to go too.

Pure set up a showcase where Lisa and Andre were brought along to see what they got ahead of themselves. Pure already gave Alisha and Carolina the heads up because he was a good husband.

Pure: All right guys, we are heading out.

Alisha: Have fun.

Pure whistles and his car came to him. Lisa came out of the workshop and was driving her own car. Once they were together Pure opened a portal and it went straight to Andre's house where he was ready to go. Andre came out and was heading to Pure's car with his drones following him

Andre: Bye mom, bye dad, be back later!

Austin: Have fun!

Pure opened the door and Andre got in and shut it. After that Pure opened another portal and that lead to the Auto Cove Speedway, it got upgraded over the years and was a massive course with all the twists, turns and straightaways any man could want.

When Pure and Lisa came through they were outside of the raceway and were given full access. Pure, Lisa and Andre got out of the cars and they trailed behind them thanks to Pure's systems. All of them got the all-access passes and went looking around. What was there was all the former legends of racing and the current ones. They saw every single type of engine and car there from really old to next-gen like Pure's car.

Andrew and Lisa were looking around at all of the open hood cars and all of the mechanics. Some were working on some and some new age blocks were out on display.

Lisa: This is amazing.

Andre: So this is what is packing in today's engines?

Pure: And some future ones too.

All three of them went to an open slot for two cars. A manager was there and Pure went to him.

Manager: Thank you for gracing us with your presence.

Pure: No problem.

Once the cars were parked, Lisa and Pure opened up the hoods of their cars, everything that made the cars powerful was on full display Pure had a split hood so that he doesn't have to touch the supercharger. Some people were coming over and saw his engine. Lisa had on her overalls and was working on her car while she was there. Andre was nearby looking at all the cars and talking to some of the drivers.

Andre: So do you get more power to the engine?

Driver: It depends on what parts you are using but getting your aerodynamics of the car is a big thing. You can't go far if the air doesn't help as well.

Andre: Got it.

Driver: Are you looking to be a driver?

Andre: It's one of the big things.

Driver: What type of car are you looking for?

Andre: I'm starting to lean towards muscle cars. Once you know how to how to use the power correctly, you are gone.

Driver: It's true, not much people go for muscle cars but once you know how to use that power, you can even leave these guys behind. Who are you with here?

Andre: I'm here with Pure.

Driver: You must be really special for Pure to bring you here.

Over with Lisa she had her car jacked up and was working on the transmission and electronics underneath. Another driver saw her under it and her tail had grabbed a tool. The driver hooked her leg and pulled her out.

Driver 2: What are you doing?

Lisa: What does it look like; I'm working on my car.

Driver 2: Your car?

Pure: Will you please not bug her; you know how much concentration you need to work on a car like that.

Lisa grabbed a different tool, unhooked her leg and went back under the car.

Driver 2: Is she even allowed to work on a car like this?

Pure: She rebuilt the whole thing herself, she earned that right.

Driver 2: And she is a...?

Pure: Succubus who is a grease monkey.

Driver 2: What?

Lisa rolls back out and looks him in the eyes,

Lisa: You got a problem with that?

Driver 2: Shouldn't you be locked down at the fort?

Lisa: The collar I have on prevents me from getting any ideas and frankly, I'm not looking for a snack.

Driver 2: Does this thing even run?

Lisa gets up, gets in the car and it starts up when she turns the key. You could hear the horsepower in the engine when she gave the car some gas.

Driver 2: No way, Pure must have did all of that.

Pure: I just double-checked her work, she learns fast.

Lisa turned off the engine and got out of the car; she went the back of it and opened up the back for the engine. You could see the modifications she made to the car in her spare time.

Lisa: Anything else?

Driver 2: No way this makes it a lap?

Lisa: Is that a challenge?

Pure stopped what he was doing.

Pure: You shouldn't have said that.

Driver 2: It is.

Lisa: Fine, get your car to the starting line, now.

Lisa shut the back and got it ready to go. The Driver walked off and went to his car which was a future Kowisegg. Lisa finished checking on the electrical under the car then got it off the jack. Pure shut the lid on his car and set it to follow him.

Pure: Hey Andre.

Andre looks at Pure and he points to Lisa, Andre comes over to see what is up.

Pure: We got a challenge, Lisa's BMW vs. that guy's Kowisegg

Andre: Worst mistake of his life.

Pure: I'm going to join them.

The driver that Andre was talking to came over.

Driver 1: Mind if I join?

Pure: Sure.

Driver 1 got into his car which was a future Lamborghini built for racing.

All four of them went out to the track where a huge crowd was gathering. All four of them set the cars in their grid spots on the track; Andre was on the side in the flag booth. Pure launched several drones which were feeding camera shots. Pure threw up a connector to Andre to connect to his tablet he brought along. He fed the footage to the fans and the news crew that was there.

Driver 2 set up the track and it was a three lap race, Pure and Lisa started in the back to prove a point. Once all four of them were ready they got into the cars and started them up. The drones gave awesome shots of them with the cars. All of the cars passed tech inspection, even Lisa's.

All of them revved up their cars and waited on the countdown. Once the countdown was started, they got ready to leave the line. When it hit green all four of them left the line but Pure and Lisa left faster than them thanks to their custom modifications. They had to go to a side and pass the drivers. After going down the straightaway and went into a turn with the other drivers right onto their tail.

Pure was leading with Lisa right behind him going into and out of the turns. Sometimes both of them would switch the lead but they would always be ahead of the drivers. Lisa looked behind and saw Driver 1 was battling it out with Driver 2, when they were coming into the straight for the second lap; Lisa dropped back a little and started to draft with Driver 1. Driver 1 caught onto what she was doing and drafted with her, both of them caught back up to Pure and all three of them drafted together.

It was a clean race up until the middle of the second lap. Driver 2 was coming in hot by risking it on the speed and turns.

Andre: Pure, are you watching that guy?

Pure: Yeah, and it is not looking good.

Lisa: I swear he is going to break something in that car.

All three of them kept going until they came to the straightaway; all three of them were coming in for the final lap. Driver 2 was trying to catch up but it was no use. All three of them were in perfect sync on their racing line and there were no errors in it. When it came down to the straightaway, Pure slowed down and let Lisa take the lead.

They crossed the line with Lisa in first, Pure in second and Driver 1 in third, Driver 2 was coming in for a straight but the axel in the car broke and the car started to drag.

Andre: Ooo, that sounded like the suspension.

Pure: He had the car set for just racing, not a hybrid like ours.

Once Driver 2 crossed the line he got out of the car and looked at it.

Lisa: Think the transmission is cooked?

Pure: No doubt.

Lisa and Pure got out of their cars and went to Driver 2's car. Pure used his tails and got it up in the air. Pure and Lisa went under it and saw the suspension and transmission were shot.

Lisa: You got a spare suspension and transmission in that bag?

Pure: Could make a better one.

Driver 2: What are you doing?

Pure gave Lisa a wrench set.

Lisa: Got to be greater than the haters.

Lisa and Pure undid the whole suspension and transmission and put it in his bag. While Pure was fixing those, Lisa checked the rest of the car out for any problems; they were minor but easily fixable. A crowd gathered including Andre to watch them put it back together. Once the suspension and transmission was fixed they topped off all the fluids from oil to brake fluid.

Pure checked the oil and fuel he was using so there wasn't any mix-up. Pure brought the car down and Lisa started it up. It worked perfectly and was more powerful.

Lisa: Someone messed up the drivetrain a little; you could have caught up to us no problem but passing us, I don't think so.

Driver 2: You have way more power in that engine.

Pure: There was a temporary limiter in the car's systems, limiting our top speed to your class car. I would have left you all on the first lap but I wanted to have some fun.

Lisa: So don't judge a book by its cover; you don't know what's in the pages.

Lisa put up the tools they were using and put them in Pure's bag. Lisa got back into her car and drove it back to her showcase spot.

Driver 1: If she can beat you in that car, I would love to see what you can do.

Andre: I still got some growing up, learning and training to do.

Driver 1: Already under contract?

Andre: By Ultimate Racing.

Driver 1: Great game, teaches you a lot about cars, hard to get a contract from them. I'll keep an eye on you, if you do well enough, I might send some your way.

Pure: One thing at a time, still need to get through school.

Andre: Right.

Lisa: Hey Pure, I'm headed to refuel, watch the car for me?

Pure: Sure.

Lisa opens a portal and heads through it and it closes. Pure's car heads to his showcase spot by his command and stops there. He opens up the hood again and lets it cool off.

Andre: Mind if I take a look around again?

Pure: Knock yourself out; the drones will keep an eye on you.

Pure called back the drones and three tagged along with Andre, Andre gave Pure back the camera link to Pure and let the drones go around the show to get some good footage. Pure kept an eye on Lisa's car while he lets his cools down; Andre went around the showcase and having a good time.

Over at the fort Mingyu and Younghee were taking it easy from helping out on the construction site. Mingyu and Younghee were eating and talking.

Mingyu: So what did you do before the whole, you know?

Younghee: I used to be a businesswoman, my thing was real estate.

Mingyu: And that would be?

Younghee: Selling houses, land, apartments. I was really good at it and always had satisfied customers and trust me I checked.

Mingyu: When was this?

Younghee: The nineteen hundreds, Carolina and Liz picked girls that would have the least ties on the earth possible.

Mingyu: Not a bad idea.

Younghee: So what did you do back in your dimension?

Mingyu: Usually keep the lava flow and systems running, it was no bad until you get humanized, now, there are a lot more things you can do here.

Younghee: Yeah, so what do you want to do now?

Mingyu: I don't know honestly, want to go and find something to do together?

Younghee: Sure.

Mingyu and Younghee get up and look around the fort on something to do. Both of them get to the games room and look around, they see the consoles there and the controllers charging while others were on some of them playing.

Mingyu: Want to play?

Younghee: Not a fan of gaming but what could it hurt?

Mingyu goes over and checks the collection of games they have.

Mingyu: What do you want play?

Younghee: Got something simple to start off with?

Mingyu sees Jack playing.

Mingyu: Jack, what is easy to play?

Jack: Start with the classics; they got some good but easy gameplay.

Mingyu: Where are those?

Jack: Second shelf on the left.

Mingyu looks through the collection they had and picked a few that looked good.

Jack: You two have to create your own profile so you don't mix up with anyone else's. Let me help.

Jack paused the game he was playing and went over to create profiles for them. When he finished building them he went to put in a game, since the games are all connected together they share a profile over all consoles, a little extra tech for multiple purposes, like cross-console play and mass-multiplayer for tournaments.

Jack: All right you are set; each game case carries two disks so you can play together.

Younghee: Let's start with this one.

Younghee picked up a racing game.

Mingyu: Ok.

Mingyu took the case from Younghee and inserted it into the console.

Jack: All right, have fun.

Jack went back to what he was playing and Younghee was reading the little instruction manual that comes with it for the controls and what to do.

Mingyu: All right, let's get started.

Mingyu and Younghee started to play their game. Back at the showcase, Andre had tons of fun, he saw several different cars, went out on the track with a few of them in the passenger seat to see how it feels and got some great advice on how his car build should be. For Lisa, she came back and was challenged a couple of times and she took them on. Whatever they threw at her, she always ended up in the podium position but not always first. Pure was talking to people, tuning up cars and giving them the feel for the car under its full power.

Driver 1: Whoo, if I had a car like that, you would be seeing me teat it up at the salt flats.

Pure: Yeah, I got to take her out there one of these days and see what she really puts out.

Driver 1: You never let this baby out of her cage?

Pure: Once, she hit six hundred with the throttle wide open and a custom made nitrous oxide mix. I did some tweaking since then and she puts out way more.

Driver 1: Been busy?

Pure: You have no idea.

Just then Lisa came.

Lisa: I'm good to go.

Pure: Come on Andre, time to head home.

Andre gets in Pure's car and shuts the door.

Driver 1: Lisa, care to take on a challenge?

Pure: What kind of challenge?

Driver 1: Six second challenge, you build your own car and make a quarter mile in six seconds or less. Best time wins the whole thing. I know Pure can beat it no problem but if you want to take it on you can.

Lisa: When is the event?

Driver 1: The challenge started a few days ago, people are already on it but it is going to take a couple of months until the meet for the challenge. From how Pure is training you and how you put those guys to shame, you got a real good shot.

Lisa: Well, Pure has to give me the ok to build it and even compete.

Both of them look at Pure.

Pure: Well, you still got more to learn and help out with the fort construction... but she still takes care of this one in her spare time. She can build the car in her spare time, just give us the heads up on the meet.

Driver 1: Just make sure it isn't demon juiced.

Lisa: I'm locked out of that, I can only do portals to refuel.

Driver: Good, let me get you the contact info.

Pure got the info about the event and the contact information from the driver. Once he got that both of them got into their cars and headed out of the raceway.

Lisa: Are you really going to let me build it?

Pure: I got to keep you guys busy after we finish the fort, plus you looked like you needed a challenge.

Andre: If you want to build a car for six seconds, you need something light like a Volkswagen.

Lisa: No, too light and not enough space to put the right engine in it.

Pure: What do you think is the right option?

Lisa: Things to worry about is: weight, speed, airflow and getting the power to the tires.

Andre: That would equal, weight reduction, a really good engine, a body kit that can get you air and keep you bolted to the ground and a really good suspension, transmission, and turbo.

Lisa: Not turbo, supercharger.

Pure: You are going to need a custom one but you need to get certified and trained for this type of racing first. Once you get studying on track regulations, safety rules and tested the same way as everyone else, you got your licenses.

Lisa: How soon can we start on it?

Pure: As soon as you can.

Pure opened up a portal and it ended up on the outside of Andre's house where, Leslie and Aylia were waiting, Aylia was in Leslie waiting with their drones following them. Andre got out of Pure's car and headed to the door. Andre waved good-bye and Pure waved back. Pure and Lisa did a burnout and headed down the road to a portal straight to the fort. Andre watched them leave and head back through.

Aylia: Hey Andre, how did it go?

Andre: Great, got some brand new ideas for my car and got some new car bodies for you to work on.

Aylia: Sweet.

Andre: Anything interesting happened while I was away?

Leslie: Eh, nothing much, still going on with my puzzles until something grabs my attention.

Andre: Well, I got to head inside and get a shower.

Leslie: All right.

Andre helps Leslie and Aylia up and all of them went inside. With Pure and Lisa they got back to the fort and parked their cars. Lisa went to refuel while Pure went back to his family and they were there watching a picture and getting a snack. Pure's armor and weapons came off and went to his armor stand. He went into the bed and hugged them.

Alisha: How did it go?

Pure: Lisa and Andre had fun, also Lisa got a challenge/

Carolina: What kind of challenge?

Pure: Six second car challenge, she wants to give it a shot. I'll let her see what she can do.

Alisha: You had fun?

Pure: I did, smoked some drivers who challenged and Lisa did ok, but I missed you four a lot.

Pure kissed Alisha and Carolina and kissed Pure Jr. and Auriella on the forehead. He went to take a shower to get all the dirt and grime off. When he came back he got into the bed and watched to picture with them. Everyone was getting a chance to prove themselves on every single thing and they were going to prove themselves.
