Jade, Victoria and Reese got out of Jade's car and headed to the Serpent. They saw the Spartans outfitted with the Extreme AI armor.

Jade: You called for backup?

Thursday saw them and got out of his Spartan. He landed right in front of them and walked forward.

Thursday: Yup, what do you got for us?

Jade: Some extra units, a flying squad, some volunteers that wanted in on some of the carnage and us.

Thursday: You got a hacker like Pure?

Victoria: You are looking at her.

Thursday: If Pure trusts you to hack then that is good enough for me.

Victoria looks behind Thursday.

Victoria: What's up with the sweet ride?

Thursday: Spartans modified and upgraded from every city we liberated.

Reese: Do you have any spares?

Victoria: You know how to drive one?

Reese: I had my time in one, I'll use one to protect you and buy you time.

Thursday: A spare is coming in, use it.

Reese sees the Spartan and gets in.

Thursday: We are moving out in five minutes, be ready.

The Serpent was fired up and ready to go with the Judgment missiles ready to fire. Some of the missiles were redesigned with the Solphite Solution to create a massive dispersal area. Everyone came to the edge of the continent ready to move out.

Aria: Firing up the Mega Ice Beam.

Jade: Actually, that won't be necessary.

Jade went in front of the whole army and revved up her engine. Jade then went forward to the water and activated her nitrous. She was blazing across the water leaving a nice thick icy pathway.

Jade: Ever since I got new magic, I can pull a trick or two that can help.

Thursday: Nice.

Aria: Mega Laser is on standby.

Victoria: What's the plan here?

Thursday: The second serpent is on the other side and is going to cause a little distraction with Origin, we need them off us for as long as possible to disable their defenses.

Victoria: What about the Solphite Nukes I got briefed on?

Thursday: We need you to stall the Nukes and download the uncorrupted hive mind.

Victoria: That's going to be a problem.

Thursday: Why is that?

Victoria: I have never handled a hive mind much less download one.

Olivia: That's where I come in, I can help you grab the right one and stall the nukes.

Hardline: Only enough for me to get in and rewire the guidance chips.

Victoria: You better download into me, faster line of communication.

Olivia: Download into you?

Victoria was in the Serpent and she plugged into it.

Olivia: I got the space; it's how I have Reese.

Olivia: Reese?

Reese: Don't ask, just upload into Victoria.

Olivia uploaded herself into Victoria and Olivia had a body to use as well.

Olivia: Download complete, there are bigger upload and download speeds with Victoria, I can run the download from here.

Victoria: Leave some power for Reese while he is protecting us.

Olivia: Limiting my power usage.

Thursday: Ok, when we get in range you start hacking and downloading. Get in one of the geodes so they don't know where to shoot to stop it.

Victoria: Is there a place where we can store the hive mind?

Extreme AI: In the geode ready to use.

Victoria: I'm coming out.

Victoria got out of the Serpent and broke through the ice. She saw the geode break off the formation underwater and come to her. She went to the hatch and it opened she went inside. The Extreme AIs directed her to the new hive mind mainframe and she plugged herself in and was ready to download.

Victoria: I'm plugged in and standing by.

Thursday: Ok, distraction team, you're up.

The second Serpent fired off missiles and the Spartans that were there started firing to distract Origin from the incoming attack. They started to pull the attention of Origin away from the other side.

Thursday: Ok, that's your cue Aria, ice up the silos, they can't launch them if they are shut.

Aria: Aiming for silos and firing.

Aria fired off the Mega Ice Beam at the missile silos. The distraction was working and they were able to beach before the Zombie AIs realized.

Thursday: Launch two judgment missiles and two Solphite judgment missiles to create an area where every single unit can get on land and can start to fight back.

When all of the units got onto land they split up and went into groups to destroy the outposts and factories that were littered across the entire country.

Victoria: I need a hacking point!

Thursday: Working on it!

Scarlet: Found a communications outpost!

Thursday: Take it over; focus all fire on that outpost!

Rory: Coming in for a pass now.

Rory and Vile focused their firepower at that outpost. The Serpent moved in and began taking it over for the download. V got out and she had a machine gun and she got an escort, a werewolf.

V: Come on Cody, we got some work to do.

Cody: Got your back.

Cody started firing his auto shotgun to cover V and get into the communications. Cody was laying waste to anything coming their way with the lava attachment installed. After 5 minutes of carnage from both of them they got to the communications mainframe and get Victoria the signal she needed.

V: Victoria, I have your way in.

Victoria: Establishing connection.

Victoria got the connection and was in the Origin hive mind but this time it was more guarded and had the AIs that were controlling the Zombie AIs

Olivia: Why are you doing this!?

AI: To create the best AI hybrid there can be.

V: Well that answers that question.

Victoria: You can't make the best AI by controlling all of them.

AI: The best chances are what Origin decide, not all of you.

Victoria: Oh now you got me pissed off.

Victoria was transforming into massive robot with her plane parts she got.

Victoria: You should learn that you shouldn't judge a book by its cover.

Victoria got a running start and picked up Olivia. They started to fire at Victoria but she released a missile barrage. The resulting blast knocked back the AIs and blew open the firewalls to gain access.

Olivia: How can you do this?

Victoria: No time to talk we got downloading and hacking to do, where is the hive mind?

Olivia: Let me down, keep me guarded.

Victoria kept an eye on things while Olivia looked around.

Olivia: No good, they completely infected the system.

Victoria: There has to be one place where it's not infected.

Victoria was thinking of a way to get the system back then she had an idea.

Victoria: Does this place keep a system restore?

Olivia: What are you thinking?

Victoria: Find an earlier image of the hive mind and use that to re-create the hive mind.

Olivia: The saved points are in the core memory bank.

Victoria: Which one is it?

Olivia: It's in the center of the city.

Victoria: I am going to need some backup in here!

Aria: That is why we are here.

Victoria saw each head AI of all cities came into the Origin hive mind.

Aria: We will hold them back, get the hive mind running.

Victoria turned back to normal and both of them started to run towards the core memory bank. Meanwhile in the real world the battle was fierce. Everyone was pushing the line forward to the silos before they could launch.

Thursday: Aria, keep the ice beam focused on the silos.

AI: Aria is dealing with the Origin AIs that have been corrupted, she has left me in charge and ordered me to keep the silos iced up to prevent launch.

Thursday: Keep at it.

AI: But there is a problem, the system can't take much more firing and cooling down, at this rate the mechanism will no longer function.

Thursday: Keep it as long as you can, we will speed up our attacks to compensate. Everyone, switch to bombardment, we need to get to those silos before they are deiced.

Extreme AI: All geodes fire at all targets.

Thursday: Fire all judgment missiles but leave the Solphite Solution Judgment missiles, we might need them to intercept the Nukes and destroy as much Solphite as possible.

Every single missile was fired to speed up getting to the silos. Meanwhile Olivia and Victoria were running through the hive mind taking out every defense to the core memory bank.

Olivia: How long have you been doing this?

Victoria: A really long time.

After ten minutes of dealing with defenses they got to the main memory bank and got looking for a good save location. Olivia was looking for one while Victoria was handling getting every single person the Origin AIs captured into the new hive mind.

Olivia: I found a stable save data.

Victoria: Does it have all the files associated with it?

Olivia: Yes and they have not been infected, they need them uninfected in order to keep the system running.

Victoria: Let's start setting up the hive mind; this download of everyone is going to take a long time.

Olivia: The copy and installment of the main hive files has started, ETA ten minutes.

Victoria: This download will take thirty minutes regardless of how much it is.

Olivia: What's an option to speed it up?

Victoria: Rip the hive mind apart and watch the download, don't want any traces of infection happening to the new hive mind.

Olivia: What about the Solphite Nukes?

Victoria: Most likely on an independent system to prevent us from taking it over, this might also take down some of the AI zombies to advance the shutdown.

Olivia: I'll watch the download, you destroy the place.

Victoria started to trash the place but Olivia marked where all of the important files were so that they would be able to transfer and not be corrupted. Victoria saw that the AIs needed some assistance so she had an idea.

Victoria: Olivia, find the connection to the hive mind that they have, all of them are fighting in unison too well.

Olivia: Searching but the hive mind is downloaded, you need to set the new hive mind up.

Victoria: One problem, a hive mind consists of a lot of computers, how am I going to... I got it!

Victoria headed right into the fights and started a connection between her and each friendly AI. It was a bit difficult but she got all of them, then she jumped into the new hive mind and began the installation.

Victoria: Please let this work.

While the installation was working the friendly AIs were starting to link together to be more coordinated and Olivia was deleting the connection the Corrupted Origin AIs had. Meanwhile in reality, they managed to push to the silos and get inside.

Thursday: Hardline, you're up!

Hardline got out of his Spartan and both of them made a run inside.

Hardline: Going to need two extra hands!

AI: Assisting.

Thursday: There are ten Nukes you need to disarm in here.

Hardline: Give me a timer!

Trent: Fifteen minutes.

Victoria: We need twenty in here!

Hardline: Lock the Nuke in place, if it can't get loose for those five minutes you got your window.

Thursday: How is it looking Hardline!?

Hardline: Swapping out guidance chips with hacked ones.

Thursday: All Arachne Spartans, we need you in the silos to hold off the Nukes for as long as you can!

Three Arachne Spartans came down into the silos one by one and webbed up the Nukes as best as they could after Nick was done with the guidance systems but there was a problem for Victoria.

Victoria: I... can't... finish... this...

Reese saw she needed some help.

Reese: Rory, I need you to guard us, Victoria needs help.

Rory: Coming in to defend.

Reese jumped out of his Spartan and went into cover. V saw the Spartan empty and hopped in. Reese jumped into cyberspace and saw Victoria struggling.

Victoria: Reese.

Reese: We will finish this.

Victoria grabbed a wire and connected herself to Reese, both of them were working at max power to build the hive mind, everything was going down to the wire. Hardline managed to rewire nine of the nukes in time but the tenth one was launching.

Hardline: The last missile is launching!

Arachne: We haven't secured that one!

Thursday: Use two Solphite Judgment missiles to intercept.

Two Solphite Judgment missiles were launched and they intercepted the missile before it had a chance to break off. The remaining Solphite fell back into the silo and the surrounding area, anyone that was in that silo had already evacuated. Hardline had just finished the last Nuke.

Hardline: I'm done!

Thursday: Everyone, clear out and get back to the Geodes, Geodes covering fire!

Extreme AI: Covering.

In cyberspace, Olivia was tracking the data flow while Reese and Victoria were just putting the finishing touches on the hive mind

Victoria: Hive mind operational, connections are holding.

Thursday: How long till the download is complete?

Olivia: Eight minutes.

Hardline: We don't have eight minutes!

Reese: Just buy us the time!

Thursday: Use the same rockets to hook onto the Nukes and keep them propelled down until they are finished.

AI: The Mega Ice beam has one final shot.

Thursday: Burn the circuit out if you have to, keep them on the ground!

AI: Firing at maximum power.

Extreme AI: All missiles firing to intercept and hold off the Nukes.

Jade: Mega Missile Barrage!!

Jade released a massive missile barrage that it looked like it was a massive beam made of missiles. Missiles from the Geodes right into the silos, all of the missiles were stopping the Nukes and the Mega Ice Beam was icing up the silos as thick as it could until the system blew apart.

AI: The Mega Ice Beam has ceased functioning.

Thursday: Hardline, tell me you are hacking to drive those things!?

Hardline: V, a little help here!

V came rushing in with the Spartan she borrowed from Reese and got hacking with Hardline. Rory transformed into her normal self and was at the ready to get Reese out.

Rory: I'm here waiting on the order to pull Reese to safety.

Thursday: Come on Olivia!

Olivia: Three more minutes.

Just then the missiles all got out of the silos from the webbing and ice and headed straight up.

Thursday: Hardline!!!

Hardline: I got it, I got it, I got it!

Hardline got control of the Nukes.

Hardline: I'll take them as high as they can go to buy time, after that, gravity has the rest.

Olivia: Two minutes.

Everything was on the line now and Hardline was doing everything to buy time for Olivia.

Thursday: Come on, come on.

V: Why does the last ten percent take the longest?

Hardline: I swear someone should fix that.

It was down to the final seconds when the Nukes ran out of fuel, Hardline used the re-entry rockets but V overridden the lock that detaches the sections of nukes to stay locked so that they won't have to direct the other parts when it detaches.

Hardline: It's starting to free fall!

Olivia: It's finished, all AIs get into the new hive mind.

When Aria and the other friendly AIs heard that they made the jump to the new hive mind and Reese woke up.

Reese: Blow it!

Rory released a fireball and knocked out the communication tower from the corrupted AIs from getting into the new hive mind and Olivia jumped out in time. Rory grabbed Reese and they got out of there. Everyone was at a safe distance and everyone saw the Nukes coming in and impacting the earth, the resulting explosion and Solphite spill was practically melting everything on it. In Cyberspace with the Origin Hive mind it was glitching out and being shut down. The servers for them were being melted into nothing.

Thursday: Please tell me that worked.

AI: Running full system diagnostic.

All of the AIs around the world did a diagnostic check and it was all clear of the zombie infection.

AI: All clear.

V: Confirmed.

Thursday: We win.

Everyone was cheering and Reese saw the Geode that Victoria was in.

Reese: I got it from here Rory.

Rory let go of Reese and he headed straight inside.

Reese: Olivia, download into the hive mind and take over, I'll take care of Victoria, she looks weak from handling all of that.

Olivia: Downloading now.

Reese waits a couple minutes for Olivia's response.

Olivia: Download complete.

Reese unplugged Victoria from the hive mind and plugged himself in.

Reese: You ok Victoria?

Victoria: -panting- I'm alright, just need to rest.

Reese took out his hoverboard and got on, he went close and picked up Victoria, he went out of the Geode and straight back to the portal.

Reese: Fire up the portal.

The AIs there opened the portal and Reese went through, he came out of the portal on the other side and headed straight back to the fort, he came in for a landing. Reese got off the hoverboard and grabbed it. He came walking into the main hall where Mima was.

Mima: Reese, is the threat over?

Reese: It is but it took a lot out of Victoria, she needs rest.

Mima: I will see you will not be disturbed.

Reese: Thank you.

Reese took Victoria to their room where he took off her armor and his. He got her into bed and laid down too.

Reese: Its ok, we are home.

Victoria: Thank you Reese, building that entire hive mind took a lot out of me.

Reese: I know, you need to recover your strength, I will run diagnostics.

Victoria: Please hold me while you do so.

Reese: I'm not going to leave you.

Reese went behind her and held her in his arms while he ran diagnostics and let her rest. Now two out of three of the threats have been eliminated and one more remains, the monster dimension.
