A few days later, work was starting back up at the fort and the workers and scientists were coming into the main hall to be briefed and brought up on new developments. With the alliance now able to share ideas and make advancements in all areas, anything was possible. Some more AIs came through and this time it was from all categories to assist with any idea.

Pure: All right, welcome back all workers and scientists to the Destiny fort, this time we got a lot more to work with. With the alliance now solid, we can combine our ideas to make all three worlds able to prosper.

Seth: Some of the others will be curious or working on projects of their own, they are willing to lend a hand or listen on how to improve upon their ideas.

Randal: But don't bother getting any bad ideas, they know how to hold their own.

Pure: All right, everyone get their new security measures and let's get to work.

Once they passed security, they split up and began production, Harley's new ship was being made and other projects that were paused were back in progress. Pure went over to the Extreme AI that came through to talk.

Pure: Thanks for coming over.

Extreme AI: No problem, the AI city queen said you needed some help with earthquakes.

Pure: Exactly, follow me.

Pure and the Extreme AI head to his workshop where Lisa, Steam and Jae were working on their own things.

Pure: All right everyone gather around, this project is important.

All three of them came over to the table where Pure laid out the blueprint.

Pure: Meet Lisa, Steam and Jae.

Extreme AI: Nice to meet you.

Lisa was going to shake his hand but she pulled back quickly because she felt the heat coming from him.

Lisa: Whoa, how hot are you?

Extreme Ai: Over five thousand degrees, I usually walk around magma easily.

Pure: Don't worry, I'm absorbing the heat from him so that he could be in here to talk to us.

Extreme AI: We have a method of handling earthquakes so that they can be minor to everyone. We call them earthquake cancellers; they turn down or stop an earthquake from happening.

Jae: How?

Extreme AI: Do you have a hologram?

Pure: Link with me.

Pure uses the cable in his head and connects the Extreme AI to the hologram and he shows a blueprint.

Extreme AI: This device is buried in a specific point in the earth, specifically near the fault lines.

Steam: What does it do exactly?

Extreme AI: When an earthquake happens, the device attempts to dampen or absorb the shockwave.

Lisa: What happens if it only dampens it?

Extreme AI: Then that is when a second plan comes into action, we place earthquake-type shields underground to absorb the rest and it creates energy.

Pure: Energy?

Extreme AI: Since there is so much activity under the crust things get unstable to build so we built sonic stabilizers so the city would move with the waves of the underground so we can build.

Steam: So you took it a step further.

Extreme Ai: At the time the extreme temperature around us was not enough so we thought if we could use the sonic waves we get from the movement to provide the missing power.

Pure: Has this been tested on massive earthquakes?

Extreme AI: We have recorded one massive reading but we don't know how you all measure it.

Pure: Since you are linked to me we can measure it.

Extreme AI: Playing file.

The Extreme AI played the file and it was showing what it was going on with their earth. They saw the shockwave dissipating quickly due to the earthquake equipment placed in the ground. When the test was over Pure's systems calculated how bad it was.

Pure: It was a 10.5 on the Richter scale and they stopped it.

Extreme AI: Is that bad?

Pure: Total devastation is a twelve, annihilation is thirteen.

Steam: And this stopped something just as bad.

Pure: With some improvements to the mechanism and shock absorption it could take a twelve down easily but we have to know which areas to improve and how to send the energy it generates to somewhere that can use it.

Jae: Automated battery storage can send a battery tank to and from the device in order to prevent destabilization.

Pure: I can see that working but we need a massive battery storage for that to work.

Extreme AI: The Serpent got a battery upgrade from Battery City, maybe they can provide a big but compact enough battery to transport that power.

Pure: Let's see what we can improve here first.

All five of them were working together on how to improve the earthquake absorbers. Over with the scientists, Selina was helping on how to upgrade wind farms.

Scientist: So this is how you use the wind farms, this is amazing.

Selina: We use it to generate terawatts of energy easily, with a few changes to the metal and mechanisms.

Scientist: But I feel this can be improved.

Selina: How?

Scientist: Some lighter metal mixes and more improvements to the mechanisms to get lost power.

Selina: How can you see it?

Scientists: Looking at how the mechanism works and can see points in which can be improved. Can this work for a dam as well?

Selina: Of course, every now and then we make contact with the water AIs to update on any upgrades to the turbines to make them more powerful.

Scientist: Let's get sorted on how to make this better.

Selina: Let's, I didn't get your name.

Scientist: Mathew.

Selina: Ok Mathew, show me what can be improved.

Selina and Mathew were going through what upgrades could be made using combined technology. Over in the harbor, Captain Harley's new ship was being built, her crew was helping out and Mekuboto was there too helping with the heavy things while Elysium was in the training room. Horatio came over and talked to Captain Harley.

Horatio: How is the building coming?

Captain Harley: Right on time with everyone helping, she will be bigger than the one I was using but she will be more powerful with new weapons and defenses.

Horatio: Pure looked through the blueprints and I think this is another custom ship.

Captain Harley: He even accommodated for taking on Sirens which is a pain in my abdomen if you know what I mean.

Horatio: Heh, trust me, I know what you mean.

Captain Harley: So, how did you get to be the Sea commander here?

Horatio: I beat this ship in a more simulated place but Pure made this one without it.

Captain Harley: I see.

Horatio: Do they have anything like that there?

Captain Harley: It's called the Grand Captain, only someone noticed by the council can receive such an award.

Horatio: Maybe with this ship that is being built, you may have a shot at it.

Captain Harley: First we got to stop whatever those bandits are up to on the other side.

Horatio: You can call for help whenever you need it.

Captain Harley: Might start my own battalion when I get the chance.

Horatio: Battalions are not easy to control on old ships.

Captain Harley: Why I'm thinking of using some of your technology to communicate.

Horatio: That could help but there needs to be a trust between you all.

Captain Harley: I got some girls that would love to have some fun on my side, hopefully I could get a message to them.

Horatio: That might be your best bet.

Captain Harley: I better get back to seeing its completion.

Horatio: Yeah, I got some defenses that need rethinking.

Captain Harley: Bye.

Horatio: Bye.

Horatio went to the defense building section of the fort to work out some more for defense ideas. Meanwhile Andre and Leslie were back at school with the fingerless gloves on and Aylia had on hers as well. They were heading in and Aylia was in Leslie this time and they were talking.

Aylia: What's on the agenda this semester?

Andre: Still working on my studies and such, what about you Leslie?

Leslie: No idea honestly, I could go anywhere with my skills but I know Aylia is hands down an artist.

Andre: You got that right but how are you two going to balance things out?

Leslie: We will work something out.

While they were walking in Ken the Principal came to them.

Ken: Hey you two, we got some unexpected guests here to see you?

All three of them were puzzled.

Andre: Why sir?

Ken: Remember your racing game you play, well the developers are here to see you.

Andre: What, how come they are here?

Ken: Your racing style and your academic scores, they want to sponsor you for your studies and was hoping you would be driver for them.

Andre: Ok, even though I practically tear it up in PvP why come to me, those people that buy their way to the top have better rankings than me.

Ken: They split the leaderboard according to who pays and who doesn't and you are top ranked, they would explain it better.

Andre: I would feel a lot more comfortable if Pure and my parents were able to talk me through this.

Ken: I'll contact them right away when we get there.

All four of them head to the principal's office where two people were waiting on them.

Ken: Sit kids, Aylia can come out, they know from the mural at the hospital.

Aylia comes out partially and rests on Leslie's head, they sit down and Ken contacts Andre's parents and Pure.

Pure: Hello?

Ken: Pure, this is the principal of Andre's school; some game developers are here from Andre's racing game to sponsor him.

Pure: Are his parents there?

Austin: We are on the line and listening.

Sponsor 1: Since Andre has posted impressive PvP times and has an impressive academic score, we were proposing on sponsoring him.

Andre: Like I was saying to our principal, I'm only in the upper rankings in the world, not the top.

Sponsor 2: What you don't know is that we split the leaderboard on who pays and who doesn't and you are in the top rankings.

Pure: By how much?

Sponsor 1: he is ranked fifth in the world, we checked the other four and they are not capable of getting the sponsorship because of either their academic scores or have a criminal record.

Sponsor 2: Also since Pure has your best interest and under his protection, we thought we would give you the opportunity.

Leslie: What about me?

Sponsor 1: Since you and Aylia work together we were hoping if you can come in the art department and whatever position you would like since artwork is Aylia's area and puzzle solving is Leslie's area.

Austin: Hold up, what is the sponsorship here?

Sponsor 2: They continue their studies until graduation; Aylia can work on new designs for vehicles to compensate, whatever she designs we can take and we do have some seasonal ones that we need to sort out.

Andre's Mother: Will they be compensated for them?

Sponsor 1: Of course, every transaction will be recorded and sent to Pure and your parents to confirm.

Pure: What's the payout?

Sponsor 2: It depends on the sales and event runs when they are out but we are settling for 50-60 percent for you since you do impressive work.

Pure: Sounds reasonable, what about Andre?

Sponsor 1: When Andre comes of age he can choose how he will be sponsoring us.

Andre: I'll think about that when the time is right.

Sponsor 2: We want all of you to be present when the sponsorship is signed. We want everyone to be on even ground here.

Pure: How long is the sponsorship for?

Sponsor 1: We have this sponsorship for three years but if it turns out well, we will consider a renewal. Contact us at this number and we will come back here for signing.

Andre's Mother: We will take this into consideration.

Ken: You can leave now, we need to discuss this.

The sponsors leave and everyone else talked, Ken had gotten the number from the sponsors when they walked out.

Aylia: Am I the only one who thinks this is insane right now?

Pure: Why do you think I did a background check, they are legit.

Andre: But us getting a sponsorship like this?

Pure: Horatio had the same kind of contract when he joined the military.

Leslie: But would they take artwork from a ghost? No offense Aylia.

Aylia: None taken.

Ken: What do you all think?

Aylia: It would keep me busy on new car and wallpaper ideas.

Austin: What are you thinking for the sponsorship?

Andre: I am a racer but I might need a secondary trade.

Pure: It's best to do something in that category, like auto mechanics. Graduate from high school first, then come to me for practical.

Ken: Let's sort out the sponsorship another time, its soon time for classes.

Pure: Contact me when you are calling I'll come right over.

Everyone split up from there and went to their classes.

Andre: What do you two think?

Leslie: Honestly, I don't know my best trait since I solve any puzzle I get.

Aylia: Maybe you can go computers, which have a lot of puzzles.

Leslie: Good point but I'll think about it.

After they got to their lockers they split up and Aylia let Leslie get control but she was thinking on new car designs. Back at the fort everything was in full swing, over in the workshop Pure, Jae and the extreme AI were working on the earthquake countermeasures. Steam and Lisa were working on their side projects.

Lisa: Well that is done.

Lisa was looking at the engine block from the car she was working on.

Lisa: This is going to need a lot of work.

Lisa saw the block and it was really rusty and had some parts missing. Steam saw the block out and was curious.

Steam: What is that?

Lisa: It's the engine; it operates everything in this car.

Steam: I may not know the technology here but that looks in really bad shape.

Lisa: Yeah, I got to rebuild this whole thing from scratch, Pure, what car is this again?

Pure: A BMW i8.

Lisa: Are there any places to get parts for this?

Pure: Restore, recreate or buy them.

Lisa: How do you restore this?

Pure: I'll show you when we are done with the blueprints here, take apart more of the car while you wait.

Lisa: Got it.

Lisa continues taking apart the car until everything is taken out, even the suspension and fuel tank. It takes her a couple of hours to finish figuring out how each part is together.

Lisa: -Phew- That is everything.

Pure: Including the headlights?

Lisa: Those are out too.

Pure: I'm coming over to help you, we sorted out what we need to upgrade on this.

Extreme AI: I'll be over in the smelting area since I am still running on magma.

Pure: Best idea until you head back.

The Extreme AI leaves and heads to the smelting house.

Jae: How soon are we going to build these?

Pure: We have to deal with the deck first, this is second since we are almost done with the transport.

Lisa: Can we test these?

Pure: Sure.

They finished the prison transport and Vincent came and put the enchantment on that the prisons have so they can't get any ideas.

Pure: Ok, they are set.

Lisa: How do we know they work?

Pure: You, you're a demon so when you go in you should feel weakened. We'll pull you out if you are too weak.

Lisa: Ok, let's try it.

Lisa stepped into the transport which was an armored truck with ten cells in it, as soon as she stepped in she felt really weakened and dropped down. Jae, Steam and Pure saw this and they grabbed her and brought her out.

Pure: You ok?

Lisa: -panting- Yes, that really drained me.

Pure opened a portal to the circle of lust.

Pure: Refuel and get some rest, you did well.

Lisa went through and she went through ok.

Pure: Ok, that is done, I'll check on her to make sure she is ok, you all can do what you want, I got to review these blueprints and check what parts need building.

Everyone split up from there, now things are going as planned and new combined ideas were being put into action and they are showing surprising results, now all that was left is to build and put into action.
