In the normal dimension, Lisa was busy learning and working on her car. Steam pulled an all-nighter to make a lightweight frame and study how to build a new, powerful engine, everything from the crankshaft, pistons even the block itself with the transmission. With her blacksmithing and learning how each part works, Steam was able to build a prototype for Pure to test before she got some sleep.

Pure: Ok, Steam built everything before heading to bed and everything has connected correctly, now to test it.

Pure had the engine on a Dyno to test it. Once he fired it up it was loud and powerful with all the parts working together. When he ran the full Dyno it was barking with two thousand horsepower and she still had it with mostly stock customization.

Pure: Yikes, with Steam's custom work and proper hand-made parts.

Seth: I didn't think she would build this that powerful.

Pure: What were you looking for?

Seth: A thousand tops, what kind of mix did she use.

Pure checked Steam's notes.

Pure: An alloy mix of aluminum, titanium and a little bit of steel to hold everything together.

Seth: Omega-grade?

Pure: Only the steel is Omega-grade to prevent anything.

Seth: How many gears did she build?

Pure: From the look of it, four gears, she wanted to kick it into five but Lisa said four is enough to punch it down the track.

Randal: This thing is going to have to be light but powerful to get down half-mile in six seconds.

Pure: Lisa strapped on an EFI to the system to get the correct output but we need to get it the correct timing to get it out the door.

Vincent: Aren't you that person?

Pure: If she wants to get down the road, that fast we need a professional opinion.

Randal: There aren't much people who mess with muscle engines this time around; they would stick with tuners to get that power.

Vincent: So who would you call for getting the power right?

Pure: Seth, fire up the portal, let's see if Engine Empire can help.

Seth fired up the portal and contacted Rev.

Rev: This is Rev of Engine Empire speaking.

Pure: Rev, do you happen to have any measurements for the maximum power for a muscle engine?

Rev: What kind of engine we are talking here?

Pure: It's a new custom one, it's firing everything well but since you guys have been working on these way more than we have.

Rev: I'll have to send someone through to work on the engine with you.

Pure: All right.

Rev sent an Engine AI through and a drone picked him up to take him to the fort. When it got there Seth directed it to Pure's workshop.

Pure: Thanks for coming on short notice.

Engine AI: No problem, where is the engine?

Pure: Right there it has an EFI installed so we can make sure everything fires right.

Engine AI: Where do I plug into it?

An EFI is the system that controls the fuel intake so that Lisa can get more power with less gas without risking anything breaking. The AI plugged in and also connected the Engine Control Unit to check that out too which controls everything else in the car.

Pure: Just a heads up, this engine is still a prototype so we still have to make a few changes.

Engine AI: Got it.

Pure and the Engine AI continued working on the engine to see how powerful they could get it. Over in the cafeteria, Lisa came back after a refuel and sat down to catch up more on her studying. She had refreshments next to her to keep going normally until her next refuel. One of the foxes who didn't want to do construction but was good with cooking for lunch saw her studying and came over to her, it was the male fox.

Male Fox: Hi.

Lisa: Hi there.

Male Fox: What are you doing?

Lisa: Studying.

Male Fox: After knowing what you girls are, I never thought you seven would get a second chance up here.

Lisa: After a couple circumstances, it's only the seven of us, no more than that.

Male Fox: Is that what you are after?

The Male Fox points to Liz who was with Ming and Moriah who was touching her stomach and feeling the life inside her. Ming was in Fox Spirit mode with Liz in her tails.

Lisa: No, getting a child is on the agenda later but we are not taking this second chance lightly.

Male Fox: So what are each of you doing for your second chance?

Lisa: Liz is the captain but she is pregnant now, Rashida is a big girl so she up with construction and helping Eli. The others are spread out so I don't even know what they are doing but I know Younghee is with Mingyu on helping with maintenance.

Just then Luna came in she was sweating from being in the sun and helping out. She was in some construction clothes so she wasn't being flashy.

Luna: Phew.

Lisa: Working hard or hardly working?

Luna: Always working hard girl, got any cold water in here?

Male Fox: In the deep freezer with the others.

Luna goes over and opens the freezer; she sees water bottles ranging between the usual 2 liter and 50 liter bottles for big people like Sandra or Lucinda. She took out four and put back four that were under the counter.

Luna: Thanks Kano.

Luna drank from one of the bottles and carried the other three with her to carry to others, back with Lisa and Kano.

Lisa: So what are you going to do?

Kano: Learn more things here, settle down, see what here has to offer and do my part in the alliance.

Lisa: Hmm, good luck with that.

Kano: Thanks, I'll let you get back to studying now

Kano heads back to the kitchen to get things ready for when lunch comes. Over with Moriah and Liz, Moriah was feeling the life inside her.

Moriah: Feeling a life like this is amazing.

Liz: Can you really feel it?

Moriah: It is a thing all dryads have, since we live so long, seeing new life come into the world is very precious to us.

Ming was there watching them and Moriah wasn't doing anything harmful. Chun came in hybrid mode with the children and set them down to play, even Athena and Talia was there playing too. Moriah looked them and was glad to have seen them.

Moriah: I should head back now, thank you.

Moriah gets up and heads back outside to the forest section which was coming along nicely, Julia, Bandit and Lital.

Moriah: Hello everyone.

Julia: Hey.

Lital: Did Liz let you see her child?

Moriah: She did and it is growing well.

Bandit: You know, if I didn't know any better, you two want a kid.

Moriah: No, just having the one I love back in my arms is good enough.

Moriah went to Lital and hugged her.

Moriah: But what about you two, I mean, isn't that the reason why you asked for him.

Julia: Uh, when did you know about that?

Lital: I took a lucky guess when I kind of saw you two talking to each other in your cell.

Bandit: So what confirmed it?

Moriah: The two of you actually working together more than everyone else.

Juila: OK, you got us there and what choice do we have left?

Bandit: Besides, it's not that bad, you two got each other after all that.

Moriah: Ok, we can't argue there.

Just then an excavator came with a whole set of outdoor tiles for them.

Moriah: Oh, the tiles are here.

Bandit: Let's get them unpacked.

All four of them worked together with some of the construction workers to get them out of the excavator for them to use.

Bandit: Ok, that is the last of them.

Once they got them off the excavator, it was lunch break, after getting lunch, some took a nap inside but Moriah, Lital, Julia and Bandit took their nap in the trees. Some of the workers were under the trees taking a nap as well. Inside, Steam woke up and headed to the workshop, she hears Pure and the Engine AI working on the engine.

Steam: -yawns- Morning.

Pure: Actually, it's afternoon, after a few all-nighters and working on how each part works.

Steam: What about the timing like you said?

Pure: An Engine AI came through to fine tune it and make it way more powerful.

Steam: What's next on the upgrades?

Pure: Oh no, you are getting some time in the spa room then back here, we need you fully refreshed to work on the final engine.

Steam: Where are Jae and Lisa?

Pure: Jae is in the smelting house and Lisa is studying, she is coming in later to work on the body.

Steam: What type is she working on?

Pure: An aerodynamic one that she can stick to the floor but one that can still pull wheelies.

Steam: Nice.

Pure: Now go, I think Leo is in there helping out with some people who need spine realignment.

Steam: Ok, I better take you up on that offer because I think I got a kink in my back.

Steam heads out and heads to the spa room where she saw some people in the hot tub just relaxing and Leo was working on the Doctor.

Steam: Whoa.

Just then Steam heard something like a bone cracking she looked over to Leo and the Doctor and he was working on her. Leo looked up and saw Steam.

Leo: Hey Steam, come to get some stress out of your body?

Steam: Yeah but is that safe?

Leo: Of course it is.

Steam: But I heard something like bones cracking.

Doctor: -sighs- It's perfectly fine, he is getting all of the problem areas out nicely.

Leo: Yeah, you were keeping a ton of stress in your lower back.

Doctor: Only place I could keep it.

Leo works on some muscles in her lower back then reset her back, Leo then gently wraps her up in a towel, picks her up and sets her down in the massive hot tub where everyone else was but they were in different sections and had enough space. There was also a pleasant scent in the air that Steam caught on.

Steam: What is that pleasnt smell?

Leo came back to Steam

Leo: Aromatherapy, let's everyone fully relax and let the oils in the hot tub finish the work. Now, you need some relaxation too?

Steam: Pretty much.

Leo: Go and get changed in the changing room over there, I'll wait.

Steam goes into the changing room while Leo waited for her, he was mixing some fragrances for her while he was waiting.

Steam: So where are the others?

Leo: Khrys-Marie is helping on construction out there, Josh is helping on emergencies regarding the snow and Sara is in the kitchen learning how to cook and bake.

Steam: So what are you going to do?

Leo: Be here in the medical bay, learn medicines and heal people.

Steam: Got someone yet?

Leo: What?

Steam: Come on Leo, everyone is pairing off so who is yours?

Leo: -sighs- Iff.

Steam: She caught on yet?

Leo: I know she is hiding it but things take time, what about you?

Steam: I think I'm going to find a girl for me, I don't want a man that stronger than me.

Leo: Ok, answer me this why is it the good and special ones don't even want a man but a woman?

Steam: Don't know, been strong all by myself and I don't want anything stronger in my life.

Leo: Not going to argue, you made your choice and I am going to respect it.

Steam: Thank you.

Steam came out of the changing room and went on the table, Leo had some scented candles for her along with the oil. Leo started to work on Steam's body; he pulled, twisted and massaged her body until all of her stress was released from her body, you could hear the bones and muscle being moved around inside of her but nothing was broken. When Leo was done, he wrapped her up in a towel, picked her up, went to the hot tub and set her down in a spot to let her completely heal.

Leo then went over to another person and tapped them gently so that they couldn't be dizzy from being in the water so long. Snow was the one he tapped and brought dry towels to switch into.

Snow: -sighs- Thanks Leo.

Leo: I'm still surprised how you managed to throw your back out.

Snow: -stretches- Must be from the training and the missions. That felt good.

Leo: Now don't break something or else it's to the medical bay this time.

Leo: Speaking of which, how is Zero and Sora?

Leo: Zero will be back at full strength soon, Sora, I don't even know how long until he is awake at least.

Snow: Zero will make a great pack leader.

Snow went into the changing room and got her clothes, armor and Exo-suit back on before heading out. Leo checks on everyone else and checks their muscles and they were recovering nicely. With how the Yetis know how to take care of muscle and bone, combined with the oils they have and the technology powering the hot spring, anyone could recover and be at full strength in a matter of hours.

Everyone working in the alliance was being well taken care of, even the ones that want a second chance and getting it. All dimensions were still building their forts and helping where needed but also pairing off and forming bonds that no one can break or say otherwise, now was time to grow and evolve.
