Back in the normal dimension everything was running fine. Everyone was getting along and the children were playing happily. The monsters and AIs were talking while The Destiny team was dealing with the current threat. Daiyu and Xiao had just finished analyzing all of the data they received from the other dimensions.

Daiyu: Analysis finished, the substance from the AI dimension was really crazy but workable, it is able to send terabytes of data but it is very hazardous to whoever comes in contact with it

Seth: What is the best course of action?

Daiyu: Neutralize it with a formula I made to counteract the acid and stop the data flow, but, if can make a more stable friendly design this might be able to beat fiber optic cabling one hundred times over.

Mima: Now that would be a breakthrough.

Xiao: Mine however, has not been so fortunate, whatever that person used to reconstitute those Frankensteins isn't in our book.

Daiyu: How did you attack it?

Xiao: From all angles, magic, science, I even talked to some other scientists on the subject and there is no way they should be walking, something else is in play over there, I need live data for this one.

Seth: Sending reports now.

Seth fired up the particle accelerator and opened a small portal to both dimensions, once the link was established he sent the data and it came through.

Aria: Data received, formula in progress.

Seth closed the portal and went back to work on finding the last two scientists. Meanwhile Krystina was wrapped around an AI after asking to get some warmth from him. Since he has a metal body she can hold tight to get more warmth since all machines give off heat better and she doesn't have to worry about holding on too much.

AI: Feeling better?

Krystina: Much better, thank you.

AI: Is it getting too cold for you?

Krystina: Yeah, must be getting close to winter here.

Jade comes in.

Jade: We are, we are in fall now so it should be getting colder, you can ask Arachnid for some winter clothes.

Krystina: Thanks.

Just then an emergency came in; everyone went to the main hall to figure out what was going on.

Pure: What do we have?

Mima: The location this time is Egypt; I'm getting reports of a curse loose there?

Horatio: Egyptian curses are very nasty but easy to let loose. Someone had to have let this one loose.

Seth: Hold on, someone is sending a visual, it's fuzzy but it is transmitting.

Seth puts the video on the main screen. A whole sandstorm was coming towards the city it had someone in the middle of the sandstorm coming the way. It was a woman and she was covered in bandages and was a little mummified.

Rick: Uh oh.

Pure: Seth, can you get any research on who exactly that is?

Seth: I'm looking into it, but you better get going.

Pure switched to Blackbird and gunned it to Egypt. When he got there he touched down on a tall building. He saw the massive sandstorm coming with the woman in the middle.

Pure: Got anything for me Seth?

Seth: Still looking, even got some Egyptologists on the other line figuring out where she came from.

Pure: Keep at it, I'll protect the people.

Pure went down to the streets and got the civilians inside and down underground so they won't be affected. Once they were all safe Pure confronted the woman in the sandstorm and she stopped.

Woman: Hello Pure.

Pure was puzzled as to how she knew his name or how she learned English.

Pure: How do you know my name?

Woman: Your rival told me of what you are doing to my country and I want it back to normal.

Pure: Can I get a name here so we can at least have a decent conversation about this?

Woman: My name is Raniya, a high-ranking priestess.

Seth caught onto what he was doing and narrowed the search to that name.

Pure: First of all, that rival of yours has given you false information, he wants what I helped rebuild, destroyed.

Raniya: And why should I trust you?

Pure: Hmm, good point but that rival wants to destroy this earth and you along with them.

Raniya: And how would an insect like you would know?

Pure went into his bag and took out the coin.

Raniya: Where did you get that?

Pure: From his friends.

Raniya takes the coin and looks at it very carefully.

Raniya: This is a coin of Anubis; these should be inside the pyramids.

Pure: Now do you believe me?

Raniya: You are coming with me; this conflict needs to be resolved.

Pure: Lead the way.

Raniya used the sandstorm as a method of flying and went back into the desert, Pure followed behind until she suddenly stopped. She went under the sand, and the sandstorm stopped.

Pure: Seth, what is under us?

Seth: An ancient Egyptian building, the archeologists here slated it not to be uncovered.

Pure: Oh boy.

Pure switches to submarine mode and uses his wind magic to move the sand and get to the building. Once he got close to the building he saw someone was already here from the look of the sand and rock disturbed that deep. When he got to the building a force field was holding back the sand from coming in.

Pure: Ok, I'm here but where is my rival?

Raniya: He was ordered to stay here and wait for my return but his vessel is gone and so is him.

Pure: Looks like he left without notice.

Raniya: He can't, unless you have an amulet of this place.

Pure: So in other words I can't leave.

Raniya: No.

Voice: And that is where you should belong.

A voice was coming out of the device that was powering the force field.

Voice: I figured this is a way to trap you thoroughly, no one will be able to remove that seal and you will rot down there for an eternity.

The device blew up and all of the sand started to come in immediately.

Pure: Uh oh.

The whole building started to collapse from the force of the sand coming in.

Pure: Get close to me!

Raniya got close to Pure and he went into ball mode. The resulting sand buried them but Pure made the ball big enough for them to move and walk around comfortably.

Pure: That will hold.

Pure used an end of his tail and made it glow using the hexagon grid on it.

Raniya: Where are we?

Pure: We are still in the same place; I just used my tails to block the sand burying us.

Raniya: Someone has to go after that man. He has violated the very laws of Egypt.

Pure: Easier said than done, like you said, a seal is on this place preventing us from going anywhere.

Raniya: I can't undo the seal because I am bound by laws.

Pure: Unless... you go through with the trial and really judge me.

Raniya: That is one way to undo the seal.

Pure: Then let's give it a try.

Raniya: Ok, let me hear your side of the story, why does he want you like this?

Pure: I wasn't always like this; many years ago I was taken against my will and turned into this.

Raniya: Turned into what?

Pure undid the top of his armor, arm and leg pieces to show what he meant.

Pure: My skin was taken away and replaced with metal also these mechanisms in me keep me alive.

Raniya: What about the rest of you, the tails, the transformations, all of it?

Pure: Ok, you might think I am exaggerating but...

Raniya looks him dead in the eyes.

Raniya: Try me

Pure: My own family including that guy wanted to rule the world for themselves and I had to step in to stop all of them and let peace return so many times now, we have been at peace for two years, until they ended it.

Raniya came close and she was inspecting him to see if he was lying, she could see all of his mechanical and fox spirit parts. She could see the scars and wounds he had from all of his troubles for all of those years.

Raniya: Why would he lie to me about all of this?

Pure: Power corrupts, I have seen first-hand as to what it can do, even though I have power of my own I use it to make the world a better place not take it for my own.

Raniya: Your soul speaks true, you are not the accused, you are a victim of terrible crimes and for that he must be punished.

Pure: Trust me, that is one punishment that is long overdue.

Raniya: You are free to go but you must bring him back here immediately.

Pure: You have my word.

Raniya pushed back the sand enough for Pure to get out and breach the surface, when he got back to the surface he switched from sub mode to blackbird mode.

Pure: You boys owe me ten bucks when I get back.

Seth: Ha, told you that would work!

Randal: Man, I thought that wouldn't work!

Vincent: Ok, even I'm impressed you managed to court your way out of that one.

Pure: When you got the data last second before I dove and I managed to read it, I had to play it that way.

Raniya knows when you are lying from when you are not when she gazes into your soul; this is how she judges people, when she gazed into his soul she knew he was telling the truth right down to the bone.

Pure: Now where is this guy?

Seth: Sandra and Jack are in the desert detecting vibrations and looking for possible places he could hide. Artemis, the harpies and Lamia are out here too since this is more their area of expertise.

Pure: Mima, how are you doing on ground-penetrating radar?

Mima: In progress, he couldn't have gone far from when he sent that signal to the force field.

Victoria: I'm in the air doing scans and tapping into phone signals.

Victoria was scanning for signals until she got a lock on one. It was heading out of the desert and into the city.

Victoria: I got a signal, 5 miles out from the city and closing fast,

Pure: On my way.

Pure was bolting it back to the city and was scanning for the drill the rival used to escape.

Randal: Ok, one thing is still puzzling me on her, how did she know English?

Seth: Must have picked his brain a little bit to learn.

Randal: Even so, I thought she would have learned the truth when she tapped it.

Vincent: He must have taken something to suppress certain memories and to play right into his hands.

Pure: Search up what can do that.

Pure got to the location Victoria said she got the signal from, Sandra was nearby and she saw the drill thanks to her ability to see things underground.

Sandra: I got him, how you want me to send him to you?

Pure: Flick him to me.

Sandra used her tail and knocked the drill right out of the sand. Pure was right above where she flicked the drill and he caught it with his tails. Pure rips off the hatch and the doctor was in it. It was a small drill that could be operated by one person.

Pure: Dr. Isaac I presume.

Isaac pulled out a gun and took a few shots at Pure but the bullets didn't even make him flinch. All of the bullets dropped to the ground. Pure grabbed the gun and threw it away then he grabbed the scientist. Pure restrained him while he searched Isaac; he found the amulet, medicine, a satellite phone and the communicator for the force field.

Pure: Someone wants to see you.

Pure dropped the drill and Sandra caught it to take back to the fort Pure went back to Raniya where she was waiting for him. Pure touched down and was walking towards Raniya. Pure threw Isaac right in front of her.

Pure: As promised.

Raniya picked him up by the throat and had him off his feet.

Raniya: Your soul has spilled lies and has wanted to imprison the innocent; your soul is now damned to rot in these sands for an eternity.

Meanwhile in Pure's head

Vincent: You know we have to take him in, right?

Pure: But we can't when he woke up a curse and now he has to pay the price.

Seth: Even so, we still need information from him.

Randal: I got an idea. Smell him, if he has a faint trace of where he came from we might have it on him.

Pure: Hold on Raniya, I need to check one more thing.

Pure came close and smelled Isaac he was picking up several scents in which he broke down and Seth analyzed.

Seth: I got several things from that, machine oil, bread, perfume, and several other traces that I can use.

Pure: You can have him now.

Raniya threw him into the desert where a storm was practically dissolving him and breaking him down into nothing, even his bones and blood were being dissolved. Isaac was screaming as he was being disintegrated into nothing. When it was done Pure was walking away but...

Raniya: Hold!

Pure stopped.

Raniya: Do you really protect the innocent?

Pure: For the past five years.

Raniya: I can hear those souls you are hearing, they call out for justice.

Pure: And I answer to them every single day to make sure they get the justice they deserve.

Raniya: Then answer their call and end their crimes.

Raniya disappears into the sand and the others came to where Pure was standing up looking into the desert.

Victoria: Pure, what should we do next?

Pure: We got a facility to find.

Pure, Victoria and Artemis took to the skies while Sandra, Jack, the harpies and Lamia all split up and went out of the desert. Seth sent what he picked up to the others so that they would know what they are looking for. The Lamia and Harpies were given scopes to keep in contact and report what they have found. All of them were headed into the nearby cities. All of them came in low while Victoria was up above keeping track. Everyone was picking up scents but not all of them until Jack stopped when he got most of the scents.

Jack: I got most of the scents Seth gave me.

Pure: Coming to your position now.

Everyone came to his position and Pure smelled the area.

Pure: This is the place.

Pure hit the ground and both Jack and Pure sensed for a facility but there was nothing.

Jack: Nothing underground.

Pure: Where did this guy hide?

Mavis: The buildings?

Victoria scans the buildings.

Victoria: Nothing.

Pure takes out the satellite phone and checks through the numbers it dialed. He sends them to Victoria and she pings to see if they were off or on and could be tracked.

Victoria: I got 5 signals, all in the area.

Pure: Split up and we each take one. Bring them back to this building to see what we got.

Pure, Jack and the harpies all split up while the Lamia went to the top of the building and waited for when the team would arrive. Each of them collected the person and brought them to the roof of the building. Pure switched to his wings so that they won't hear him coming. Since the harpies are excellent catchers in the sky, catching the targets were no problem for them. Pure collected two while the rest collected one. Victoria came down and stood with the rest of the team and scanned their faces. The results came back in after taking a few minutes

Victoria: All ex-black ops, made several calls to steal the amulet from a museum.

Pure: I'll return the amulet; get these men to the fort for interrogation.

Pure took off and headed towards the museum where the amulet was stolen from. Seth called ahead and informed them that the amulet was found and to be returned. The director of the museum came outside and saw Pure coming in for a landing. Pure came to the director and held out the amulet.

Pure: I think this belong with you?

Pure hands over the amulet to the director.

Director: Ahhh, yes the amulet of Raniya. She was the most loyal judge and the only one that can see into your soul and be judged truthfully.

Pure: Yeah, I met her.

Director: Was she everything like the scriptures said she was?

Pure: Yes and one word of advice, make sure you don't have her as a judge.

Director: Was it hard for you?

Pure: No, it was simple because I have been truthful to everyone and I never break a promise.

Director: That is good.

Pure steps back and get some altitude. He heads back to the fort with the others when he catches up and joins the formation. Sandra had the Lamia in her shell for the trip. Even though they had to lose one of the scientists, it was better than the wrath of an Egyptian curse.
