In the morning, they brought the snakes and spiders over to the particle accelerator; Mima starts up the particle accelerator and opens a portal. The lamia queen and Arachnid's sister came out. They were given collars so that they could speak.

Pure: Welcome to this dimension ladies.

Arachnid: Hello sister, how are things doing at home?

Arachnid's sister: Running as well as you left it.

Arachnid: Good, at least I left the city in good hands.

Lilith was there and she was sitting down on Arachnid's thorax. Arachnid's sister saw there sitting down

Arachnid's Sister: Who is this little one?

Arachnid: This is my daughter, her name is Lilith.

Arachnid's Sister: She is so beautiful; I never thought a cross between species could happen.

Lilith crawled from Arachnid's thorax to her back and was looking over her shoulder.

Arachnid: Well, when the alliance is solidified maybe you can have that chance.

Arachnid's Sister reaches out her hand and Lilith goes into Arachnid's arms and she reaches her hand out.

Arachnid: Do you want to hold her?

Arachnid's Sister: Can I?

Arachnid: Go ahead.

Lilith reaches out and goes into Arachnid sister's arms.

Arachnid's Sister: She is lighter than she looks

Arachnid: She gets a lot of room to run around in the web.

Lilith starts to crawl around Arachnid's sister and she could feel her soft fur as she was going around she then came back and went back to her mother.

Lamia Queen: Our worlds definitely have much to offer.

The Lamia queen sees the seven huge snakes and the three Lamia there keeping them company.

Eve: My queen.

Lamia Queen: Eve, Mavis, Krystina looks like they have been treating all of you well.

Eve: Yes they have my queen.

Lamia Queen: Where is Ivy?

Pure: She is at the forest with Miguel and the others, they are ok.

The lamia queen goes over to the snakes and they see her, they look into each other's eyes. She reached out her hand and all seven of them bowed in front of her. They came to her and she put her hand on each of their heads.

Lamia Queen: They are very obedient.

Eve: We have been teaching them until you came to care for them.

Pure: They are too dangerous to keep here because of their blood, it is too toxic.

Lamia Queen: How toxic?

Pure: Very toxic, since we have our giants here, you can have these boys to protect your villages and cities since one drop of their blood would kill the attacker.

Lamia Queen: This would better protect our people, thank you for giving us these.

Pure: Our pleasure.

The Lamia and Arachnid handed over the snakes and spiders and they went to them except for one very small spider. It went to Arachnid and it was looking at Lilith, Lilith crawled down and both of them looked at each other. She reached out her hand and the spider got on, it didn't do her anything, both of them looked at each other and the little spider crawled up to her shoulder and stood put.

Arachnid's Sister: Looks like the runt of this litter wants to stay here.

Arachnid: You want to keep him as a pet sweetie?

Lilith: Yes mommy.

Arachnid: Ok but you are going to have to take care of him.

Pure: What are you going to name him?

Lilith looks at the little spider and she comes up with a name.

Lilith: Little sting.

Arachnid: Ok, little sting, you are family now.

Little sting was happy he could stay and be under the protection of Lilith, the snakes, spiders, Arachnid's sister and the Lamia queen all went through and signaled they got back ok.

Lamia Queen: You take care of this side of the world; I will take care of the rest.

Arachnid's Sister: Agreed, send messages to all the known villages about our new bodyguards and we shall train them to defend our homes.

Lamia Queen: We will also have to work together to keep them fed.

Arachnid's Sister: We will take turns to feed them.

Lamia Queen: Now, let's get to work.

Both of them split up and messages were sent about their new defenses, back in the normal dimension, Pure and the rest got back to the fort and Lilith went to her room and she made a little web for it. Little string went from her shoulder, across her arm and hand into the web. She went to the cafeteria and asked for a piece of meat for Little Sting. She got the piece and came back, she put the piece down in the net and it webbed up the piece of meat and started to break it down. Once it was broken down it started to get something to eat. Once Little string had his fill he went to Lilith and it was nice to her. Lilith sat down in her web with Little String in the palm of her hand petting him with her finger. Little sting was liking Lilith and Lilith liked Little sting.

Back in the forest, everything was going ok and they were making sure no one would invade the sanctuary. The dryads were calm now and they were starting to learn English. They could only have small conversations but they could still help out with the sanctuary. One of the dryads was there taking care of the water plants at the fish farm, the fish farm got upgraded with a small waterfall that would allow people to rest and forget their worries.

Since she was better at the water plants she chose the water plants as her place. When no one was there, she started to transform herself by going into the water and going under it, it was where she was starting to change. Her hair changed from green to black, the flowers in her hair changed to water lilies and her eyes turned from green to a sky blue. The wolf was coming to catch a few fish but he got a little surprised when she emerged from the water unexpectedly.

Werewolf: Whoa!

The dryad was a little scared seeing her just finished transform.

Dryad: Eek!

The werewolf turned around and was headed the opposite direction but she caught his tail which sent a shock through his spine which jolted him to a stop.

Dryad: Wait.

The werewolf turns around his head and looks at her.

Dryad: Name?

Werewolf: It's Jason.

Dryad: Sayuri.

Werewolf: Pleasure to meet you, can you let go of my tail please?

Sayuri lets go of Jason's tail.

Jason: Thank you?

Sayuri: What you want?

Jason: Just here to catch a few fish, that's all.

Sayuri: Go ahead.

Sayuri goes to the water plants and starts to take care of them, since she transformed she can walk on water and not sink. Jason catches a few fish and then heads back into the village. He catches Miguel and Blossom working on some medical work to a patient that just came in.

Jason: Hey Miguel?

Miguel: Hmm?

Jason: Is something up with Sayuri, she looked different a few minutes into the water.

Blossom and Miguel look at each other for a second realizing what she did.

Blossom: Did she happen to walk on the water Jason-kun?

Jason: Yeah, why?

Blossom: Then Sayuri-kun has become a wet dryad and Sayuri-kun is taking care of the water plants Rose-kun has been maintaining.

Jason: I kind of accidentally caught her when she finished transforming.

Miguel: That would be king of frightening, I thought she would hit you.

Jason: She yanked my tail very hard, so that counts.

Blossom: What were you up to that she did that Jason-kun?

Jason: I was catching a few fish at the lakes.

Miguel: Did she pick a tree there yet down there?

Jason: I think a red maple is there from the look of the trees you all have there.

Blossom: Blossom-Chan recommends keeping a distance until Jason-kun can go back to the fish farms.

Jason: Ok, I will help in the orchards till everything is ok.

Miguel: Good.

Jason puts the fish in the storage and grabbed some baskets, transformed into wolf form with the baskets on his sides and headed to the orchard where Li, Ana and Niki saw Jason below them, they were putting the fruits and vegetables in the baskets to either be stored or sold.

Back at the fort Zero was training hard with the wolves, despite the fact they were stronger and faster than him he was keeping up and learning a lot. He was sparring with Snow but she kept her claws down and was not using all of her strength. Snow was barely able to beat Zero when the spar was over.

Snow: -panting- You are learning well, almost had me.

Zero: Better than getting clawed by Kyoko, she is getting fiercer every day.

Snow: Take a rest; be back in half an hour.

Zero left the training room and headed to the cafeteria, he could feel the presence of Kyoko. Since he was training with the wolves he was gradually learning how to see and hear things better, he knew where Kyoko was and avoided a conflict with her and was able to get to the cafeteria no problem. Randal was there and he saw Zero coming.

Randal: Hey Zero, is my sister teaching you well?

Zero: Yeah, even though she is pulling her punches she is teaching me a lot. I can feel myself getting stronger and more agile every day.

Randal: Good, I also see you are managing to avoid Kyoko recently.

Zero: The claws were starting to get painful.

Randal: I don't blame you; Neko claws are nothing to play with.

Zero: How do you get past something like that?

Randal: Two things prepare for it or get used to it.

Zero: Got any armor that can be a shirt?

Randal: I'll ask Pure when we got time.

Just then a portal opened and Lucifer was on the other side.

Lucifer: Randal, I got some bad news.

Randal: Calling the team now.

Randal howls and the whole team comes together in the main hall.

Pure: What is it Lucifer?

Lucifer: The demon that is causing this threat is a high demoness. Her name is Venetia; right now she is missing in the circles. We can't seem to get a lock on her but one thing is for certain, she took Daniel and Immanuel with her.

Rick: Why would she take those guys?

Pure: One answer, revenge against all of us, has she collected Nicholas yet after we left him in that vat of gold?

Lucifer: Was way ahead of you on that one and he is still there, surprisingly.

Vincent: One thing is still missing, she needs a way to get here, you can't get here without some sort of ritual or sacrifice.

Marshal: What's the minimum?

Vincent: Five, six minimum.

Just then everyone had the same idea.

Daiyu: If everyone is having the exact same idea right now?

Liz: The scientists had a contingency plan; if all six of them failed she would come in and take their place.

Alisha: But why take only Daniel and Immanuel?

Randal: Rival vs. Rival, she is picking who is best against us, Nicholas couldn't cut it because he was too easy to beat and both Daniel and Immanuel had us on the ropes.

Pure: At the time, we have gotten stronger ever since but who would she pick as rivals?

Carolina: Let's see the list.

Mima pulls up a list of who they have defeated.

Rick: Well, you can count my crew for most of us.

Jade: Silk, Radar, Rhino, the whole gang.

Pure: Thank god the other fox spirits are out of range.

Alisha: Wait a minute, what about my uncle?

Lucifer: Banged up but ok, she might summon other demons to help with that.

Pure: But don't leave out the others, Miguel and the rest can't handle a threat like that in the forest.

Carolina: But who would go after them?

Pure thinks for a second.

Pure: Radar for Raheem, Miguel's Father for Miguel, a random person from the squad for Abagail, Bethany for Li, Ana and Niki. We better figure who is best at fighting who.

Trinity: One problem, we don't have a ways of locking them up again after being pumped with demon juice.

Voice: Perhaps I can help.

It was Gear and he was in hybrid mode.

Gear: I have something that can imprison them.

Randal: What exactly?

Gear took a breath and blew out a small ball of fire. Gear stopped the breath with his hand and it became a portal.

Vincent: Whoa.

Pure: What exactly is that?

Gear: My breath creates a void to nowhere, an impenetrable space of nothing ness, only way out is if I let you out.

Pure: Are you sure you want to keep them in there?

Gear closes the portal.

Gear: I don't even use my breath so it's ok.

Pure: Ok, let's up the security on the prisons while we got to find the rest of the scientists and prepare for when Venetia arises.

Lucifer: Vincent, I gave you those cards for their magic bonus and made sure they wouldn't fall into anyone else's hands but did you find an odd card count?

Vincent: 57, why?

Lucifer: I put something in there for a few of you, you can't see it but the others can.

Vincent spread them all on the counter and everyone came over to see them.

Pure: Ace of Spades.

Alisha: Ten of hearts.

Jade: Queen of diamonds.

Daiyu: The Joker.

Liz: King of Hearts.

Lucifer: Liz, Jade, Vincent and Rick, hold onto one of them. Rick, the ace of spades is yours, Liz, the ten of hearts, Jade, the Queen of Diamonds, Vincent, the King of hearts.

Pure: What about the joker?

Lucifer: Wildcard, use it how you please.

Daiyu: What do they translate to Vincent?

Vincent: Rick has the reaper card, Liz has a high demon card, Jade has an elemental card and I have a scales card.

Vincent: What are these exactly?

Lucifer: Those are upgrades.

Zero: Whoa, Whoa, Whoa, why is he helping us?

Pure: One reason Zero, we all have children and all of them are friends, even his.

Zero: His?

Lucifer: Snow bunny!

Isabella comes and Lucifer picks her up.

Lucifer: I want my little snow bunny to have friends to grow up with instead of being alone.

Pure: You were saying about upgrades Lucifer?

Lucifer: Those are upgrades to your powers

Jade: Theirs I get but why me?

Lucifer: Since Vincent is teaching you how to use magic, I thought you would have your own magic powers.

Rick: How do they work?

Lucifer: You have to prove yourself.

Everyone: Huh?

Lucifer: The cards are like a person, prove yourself to them and the power will be unlocked and given to you. Keep the cards with you at all times.

All four of them put the cards in their pockets.

Pure: Alright everyone, let's get to work.

Lucifer closes the portal and everyone split up from there, Gear heads back to his room but he catches a familiar scent.

Gear: You can come out from hiding Miku, I know you are there.

Miku comes from behind the wall and stands there scared.

Gear: It is ok Miku, I won't harm you.

Gear goes to her and reaches out his hand to pick her up. She was frightened and stood still but Gear watched his claws and picked her up in his hand.

Gear: I know are scared of me but there is nothing to be afraid of.

Miku was still scared.

Gear: If you want me to put you down.

Miku: No.

That was the first time she ever talked.

Miku: I feel, a kind of calmness around you, I don't know what it is.

Gear was puzzled as to what she meant by that, being a dragon and all.

Gear: What do you mean a kind of calmness?

Miku: I can't put my finger around it, but you seem peaceful.

Gear: I'm always peaceful, I'm just wondering why you are afraid and you know I can't harm anyone.

Miku: I know but...

Gear: How about I make you a deal, you can come visit whenever you like but you don't have to be scared anymore, ok?

Miku thinks for a minute.

Miku: Ok, I will visit when I can.

Gear: That's good.

Gear starts to put his hand down but Miku says something.

Miku: Can we go to your room right now?

Gear was shocked that she said that but he realized she was starting to get less afraid of him.

Gear: Of course.

Gear took him to his room and he turned on the light for his room, it had a big mattress for him to sleep on and few things like a computer to learn a few things.

Miku: Nice place you have here.

Gear: Thank you.

Gear sets Miku down in the mattress and he gets sits down on the side.

Miku starts to crawl up slowly to Gear and she was crawling up his hand, towards his shoulder and towards his chest.

Gear: So, what do you like to talk about?

Miku: At first I would like to apologize about being so nervous around you.

Gear: It's understandable, you were afraid; I would be too in your paws.

Just then they heard Silver.

Silver: Miku, where are you?!

Gear: Time for you to go, we will talk another time.

Gear uses his tail and scoops up Miku; he takes her down to the floor and gets off. She goes out the door and sees Silver down the hallway.

Miku: Silver, I'm over here.

Miku heads to Silver.

Silver: Where were you?

Miku: Was just talking to someone.

Silver: Uh, ok. Come on, let's play.

Miku follows Silver but she looks back at Gear's room, Gear came out and leaned on the door and looked at Miku. Miku felt calmer around Gear, everyone was preparing for the demonic threat that would arise and this time he would be ready.
