Pure and the gang get back to the fort with the deactivated robot. They were still protected by the jammers so they wouldn't be followed. Pure and Lucinda got the robot inside while the rest of the gang touched down inside the fort and were glad of their first win. Mima helped them get it inside by having two giant claws to lift it out of the water and get it on solid ground.

Pure: Nice job everyone!

Alisha: That was close, what was that power you got?

Xiao: He seemed to hit the ground, sent out a shockwave and disable all of the machinery on the ground.

Horatio: Like a Magnetic Fist Punch.

Jack: That sounds about right.

Pure: Seth, what can we do about the robot now?

Seth: I can access it with the hole you blew in its armor.

Pure opened the hole in the armor again and plugged into a port from the inside.

Seth: ok here we go.

Seth got past its firewalls and into its main interface.  He turned off the auto function in its systems and gained control of the robot.

Seth: got it! Now what?

Pure: Can you give the controls to Mima I think she can use this robot at the fort.

Seth: Ok, here are the controls Mima they are a bit stiff at some controls.

Mima: thank you for the precaution Seth.

Seth: You're welcome.

Randal: trying to reel her in are we?

Seth: Randal, now is not the time to be bragging!

Pure: Let it go Randal, let him have this one.

andal: Fine but I'm keeping an eye on him, I got a feeling he got something up his sleeve.

Pure: If you say so. Mima did any more show up while we were gone?

Mima: it did next one was in the Amazon.

Pure: Which one?

Mima: African Amazon, I have also checked the reports around the location and it shows that people are disappearing into the forest without any evidence or any trace.

Pure: Randal know anything that can do this?

Randal: there is a couple but we will have to go there to figure out which one.

Pure: Seth?

Seth: there are some machines built for forest terrain but not kidnapping people.

Pure: ok, Alisha and I will go for this one; you guys stay here and wait on the next monster. Check your weapons and make sure your armor is good for the next run.

Horatio: Yeah because that was crazy.

Jack: But it was fun though.

Xiao: Mima can we have a checkup of our life support please?

Mima: Of course, this way.

Pure: the rest of you reload and let's go; Alisha and I will land in a nearby village and gather information.

Pure, Alisha, Rick and Marshal reload their weapons and supplies for themselves and the helicopter and went on their way. When they got to the African forest they found a nearby village almost deserted and a few people were outside.

Pure: well this is what I was expecting, but not this much people missing.

Alisha: Yeah, I thought they would have at least a defense or army militia here protecting this village.

Rick: So what now?

Pure: you two head back to the fort and wait for our call; we don't want to lose our only ride out of here.

Marshal: Ok, be careful you two.

Pure and Alisha: copy that.

The helicopter touches down just outside the village. Pure and Alisha get out then the helicopter takes off leaving them behind.

Pure: If you don't hear from us after four hours come and find us.

Rick: Roger that.

Pure: We go in guns quiet and try to play nice on this one. I'll hide my tails so they don't get spooked.

Alisha: Yeah, these people get wild fast.

Alisha and Pure put their guns away and enter the village. They are greeted by everyone who was left in the village they were all glad and terrified at the same time. The village pulled them inside a hut and everyone was talking at the same time.

Pure: Ok everyone, calm down and start from the top. What exactly happened here?

Girl: It all started a couple weeks ago, there was a wind that hit us from the west and then a light shows up outside our village a few miles away.

Pure: Must be another portal opening for the monster here.

Alisha: definitely.

Girl: our men decided to see what it was but only one came back and was terrible he died of some sort of poison we have never seen before and there were huge marks in his body.

Alisha: What kind of marks?

Girl: Looks like fang marks but we are not sure.

Pure: Do you still have the body?

Girl: It's in the next hut, in case anyone like you came to deal with it.

Pure: Alisha, take some photos and send them to the fort maybe we could analyze what we are dealing with, bring a photo for Randal to see and figure out what we are dealing with.

Alisha: ok, can some of you take me to the body please?

Some of the children carefully took Alisha to where the body was.

Pure: Isn't there any military or people defending this village?

Girl: There was, but they kept on disappearing one by one, now we are the only people left.

Pure: Are their weapons still here?

Girl: yes, but they are too heavy to carry, we can't reach them or we can't fire properly.

Alisha comes back with the photos.

Alisha: Ok this is what I got.

Alisha shows the photos to Pure.

Pure: Randal does this spark anything?

Randal: Uh oh

Pure: what?

Randal takes the necklace off and puts it in his hand.

Randal: It's a spider-woman but one that is way worse, my spider mother warned me of this.

Pure: You had a spider mother!?

Randal: Story for another time, but these fang marks come from a very high tier spider woman.  Anyone who ever comes across her is eaten alive. On top of that she has a voice that hypnotizes and makes them come into her lair, man or woman.

Pure: Then why doesn't it work on these kids?

Randal: They are not developed enough to hear the tune; it would come off to them like normal singing. So some children were given a test to see if they could hunt their kind in some tribes and species and if they came back with a head of one of them they would be the next leader of that clan when they come of age. But this one is the queen of them all.

Pure: So how do we block it?

Randal: Simple, cover your ears, but they come and hunt you regardless if you are deaf or not.

Pure: So we hunt her.

Alisha: But we can't leave these kids alone here defenseless!

Pure: Yeah but how? We can't hunt and protect them at the same time.

Boy: We could protect ourselves but we don't know how.

Pure: then we will show you, kids don't be afraid, ok?

Children: of what?

Pure: -shows his tails to the children-

Children: Whoa!!

Pure: Let's get your defenses up and running and be ready for when it comes.

Pure, Alisha and the children started building the defenses of the village. They started chopping some trees around to build a wall. They started putting up towers around the village and started showing the kids how to reload and use the weapons to their size and make it easier for them to reload as well. When they were done it was almost night time, Pure called Horatio to send a UAV with a full load of Predator missiles to their location so that they can keep an eye on things and fire on anything that comes their way.

Pure: ok everything is set up; all we have to do now is wait for her to come.

Night time had come and everyone was ready for the spider woman. Pure and Alisha had some noise-cancelling headphones to use and could only talk to the children or each other.

Pure: Everything is alright from the look of the UAV. How is everything looking on your side guys?

Girl: Everything fine over here.

Boy: fine over here too.

Girl: wait the tree is rustling on my side.

Pure: checking... stand down, it's just some monkeys passing by.

Girl: I'm hearing singing.

Pure: Everyone, get ready, here we go.

The children tied a string to the guns in the towers and started running to the hut in the middle to Pure was, everyone made it and Pure sealed every child inside a ball with his tails. The spider woman crawled above the towers and went straight to the hut where she spoke.

Spider Woman: Well, well catching my prey aren't you?

Pure: Even though these headphones block your singing I can still hear you so the answer is no.

Spider Woman: -giggles- no matter, I will still devour you and the children and feast tonight.

Pure: Well I got news for you sister; you are not feasting tonight or any other night. Alisha, now!

Alisha used her machine pistol to shoot a numbing agent into the spider woman stopping her from talking or worse singing. Alisha was up in a tree away from the village so she could not be found or be seen by the spider woman.

Pure: Now, are you going down the easy way or the hard way?

The spider woman readies herself to fight.

Pure: Hard way it is then.

Pure switched to claws for it to be a fair fight in this regard since he didn't want to hurt her too bad and get her on their side so that they would have a huge advantage when they go to fight the UDI.
