Everyone was busy at the fort until a call came in for Pure from the US President.

US President: Pure, this is the US President speaking.

Pure: What is it sir?

US President: We have proposed a reward for you since you took the diseased dozen in and already have a lot of projects that are currently underway.

Pure: What is it sir?

US President: You will know when she gets there.

Pure: She?

The US President hangs up.

Pure: Guys we got an incoming reward.

Horatio: What is it?

Pure: No idea, but he said it was a she.

Alisha: She?

Pure: I know, it's weird.

Horatio: Best thing to do is wait.

Everyone waits it out until a ship starts to come to the fort.

Pure: Wait a minute.

Horatio: Is that?

The ship docks at the harbor.

Horatio: The USS Missouri!?

Pure: What is this old bird doing here?

Seth: Old bird? What do you mean by that?

Pure: Oh, this ship is the pinnacle of kicking ass. Three triple cannons that fire at the same time or a sequence, missile silos that can rain hell, this baby has survived from since 1944 when it was launched. This baby sank hundreds of ships.

Captain: Thousands, actually. She was called again to service in World War III at a time of crisis. Since she was placed in pearl harbor it was the perfect opportunity for a surprise attack and stop reinforcements from coming to the US. She did a really good job but it didn't come without a cost. At the final days of the war she was damaged and we were fortunate she was near shore for her to still be here with us.

Pure: So what does he want me to do with it?

Captain: He doesn't want to do anything with it, it's yours.

Everyone: Huh!?!?

Vincent: What can he do with this old boat?

Pure: One of my pet projects was to refurbish and upgrade one of these bad girls to this era to make it super unstoppable.

Trinity: I didn't see anything like that in the projects you gave us.

Pure: I didn't want that lovely slipping into the wrong hands as well as the other heavy projects like the rail gun.

Jade: So what are we going to do?

Pure: This is my project and it's going to be our air base when I am done with it.

Artemis: Air base? Like gliding in the sky?

Pure: With the same carbon dioxide engine and solar power running it.

Carolina: Who is running that sweet tooth?

Pure: No idea yet, but I need this baby on dry ground for me to work on it.

Captain: Permission to head back to port to complete my mission?

Pure: Granted Captain. Horatio give him a boat so he can get back to the US.

Horatio: Copy that.

Horatio prepares a small boat with his sailors so that they could head back to the US to complete the mission. Once they were prepared they said their goodbyes and left the fort.

Pure: Ok, let's get her on dry land and let's get her ready to fly.

Once they beached her Pure checked the engines and her equipment.

Pure: Everything is fine and the boilers are still operational. Even this old war equipment can even get our new equipment on haywire.

Randal: Remind me again why you are doing this?

Pure: To mix the old and new together, make sure I am not bored to death and Horatio knows when I am bored and so we can get a further grip on the world that evil is still lurking.

Alisha: Still thinking that family member is still lurking around?

Pure: You have no idea.

Horatio: It's the reason why you never get him bored, he is always preparing for something, you don't know what but he always does.

Carolina: Yup, he always has major lines of attack, defense and recovery. He always has a backup plan.

Pure: Now can you guys let me get to work on this beauty, I have been dying to try this out.

Everyone leaves and lets Pure get started on the refurbishing of the Missouri. He checks the hull and armor of the ship first.

Pure: Hmm, it is still strong.

Seth: How come?

Pure: In the old days making a ship as strong as this is hard to come by, even 1944 armor still could beat the armor we make today.

Vincent: Mind if I take a sample to see what would happen if we combined it with the dragon scales?

Pure: Let's take a piece from where the Captain said it got blew off.

Pure goes to the section where it got damaged and carves a piece off.

Randal: Looks like this has seen better days.

Pure: It has, Seth did you find the damage report?

Seth: Found it, the ship was damaged 200 miles off the coast of Hawaii by a submarine torpedo, it barely made it back to shore with the hull breached and taking on water fast. The crew used a system to take the water coming in and use it as a cooling system to the boilers in order to take it into overdrive and make it. They later patched her up and let her stand guard of the west coast with her two other sisters.

Pure: Wait a minute, there are four of these babies.

Randal: And we have one, where is the other three?

Seth: They split them up to hold the east and west coast, but unfortunately, it's sister Iowa got sunken by a missile headed straight for its engines. The USS Iowa gave its final breath by firing all 9 guns at the vessel that brought it down, an Aircraft Carrier that went rogue from Russia. The hits were so precise that the ship went down before she did and now she rests at the bottom of the ocean with the others.

Pure: Then may she rest in peace.

Pure releases a drone with the hull sample and sends it to Vincent.

Randal: What are the refurbishing ideas?

Pure: I got a few but since I have a team now I got a whole new set of ideas.

Seth: Then let's leave him alone so that he could go crazy.

Randal: Just don't go loco, ok?

Pure: Ugh, fine I still need to finish the other projects anyway.

Seth: Another set of Nanites will be launching later, that's six in total sent so far.

Pure: Got it.

Pure gets to work on refurbishing the Missouri while the rest of the gang were busy. Lucinda and Sandra were talking to Arachnid and Artemis about what they talked about with the diseased dozen.

Lucinda: They are nice people, it's just that they have restrictions on meeting people and interacting with them.

Sandra: Yeah, some of them are just like us in a way.

Artemis: Hmm, it would be interesting to talk to them about their diseases and about their lives.

Arachnid: It would help us understand this world better on how to treat diseases so that we could learn how to cure diseases quicker and more efficiently.

Lucinda: We already talked to 3, 6, 9, 1, 4 and 7, the others are still up for talking.

Arachnid: Ok, we will talk to the others when we have the time.

Artemis: Maybe they can give us some hobby ideas.

Sandra: Maybe. I have been looking for one.

Lucinda: Well, you might find one when you talk to them.

Artemis: I'll talk to them tomorrow, need to do a flyby at the new power plants and see how they are progressing for Trinity. It's also a good opportunity for me to get some good landscape photos for Lucinda.

Arachnid: And I need to keep an eye on the ongoing projects. The trees and plants have been given a greenhouse area so that they could grow in the winter and increase their growth.

Lucinda: Ok see you girls later.

Arachnid: Later.

The girls split up and head back to what they were doing. Meanwhile Vincent was looking over the piece of steel he got from the Missouri.

Vincent: Well this is interesting.

Jade: What?

Vincent: The metal density of this metal I got from the Missouri is surprisingly denser, thinner and more refined than the original metals we have been using.

Trinity: What can it do when the dragon scales?

Vincent: It's what I'm itching to find out.

Jade: Be careful, the age of the metal may have exploded when combined.

Vincent: I'll use just a drop of the metal.

Vincent melts the metal down and takes a drop of it and puts it with the dragon scale when it combined the compound stabilized and it formed a new power. Vincent takes the new metals and tests it.

Vincent: It looks like liquid metal.

Jade: it's not turning into a solid even though you hit it with nitrogen.

Trinity: Let me try something.

Trinity hits it with her hammer and it turns flat, then it just went back to its original shape.

Vincent: Weird, I thought it would stay still.

Jade: Let's try running some electricity through it.

Vincent runs some electricity through it and it turns into a solid.

Jade: It's solid now.

Trinity: Let me try again.

Trinity Hits it with her hammer again and it still forms back into a solid.

Vincent: Let's separate it and then try again.

They remove the electricity and portion the metal out, then they put electricity to each piece and it came back together to form its original shape.

Jade: This could be used for ship repairs.

Vincent: But you would need something to grab the loose pieces when the ship is damaged.

Trinity: What if we create a small electromagnet on the outside of the hull in order to grab pieces when they fall or float?

Vincent: Let's run it through one.

They run it through an electromagnetic field and it yielded the same results.

Vincent: Let's write up the reports and experiment with older metals to see if we can get results like this.

Trinity: Later, I want to see what else we can throw at it.

Jade: I call explosives next.

Jade, Vincent and Trinity went crazy on the mew metal everyone else was busy with their tasks until the work day ended. Pure was done for the day on his projects and his pet project, he was covered in spots of oil and grease.

Pure: Hey guys.

Alisha: What happened to you?

Pure: Turbines needed some oiling and the engines I transferred out and they can be used for other tasks.

Seth: What about the weapons and hull?

Vincent: Pure, we have found something interesting with the hull metal and dragon scales, the report is on the table when you finish wash up and get all of that oil off you.

Xiao: At least you thought of a wrench when using your weapon.

Pure: Yeah, I surprised myself on that one.

Pure turned his weapon back to normal.

Pure: I'm going to get a hot shower, see you guys.

Artemis: Pure, I want to talk to three of the diseased dozen tomorrow that ok with you?

Pure: Sure.

Pure heads to the bathroom and takes a long hot shower. He then hears a knock on the door.

Alisha: Pure, can we come in and join you?

Pure: Sure.

Alisha and Carolina came in and joined him in the shower.

Carolina; we were just making sure you are ok.

Alisha: Also to make sure you are not getting stressed.

Pure: And you two know one way of venting my stress.

Carolina: You know us too well already.

Pure turns up the temperature of the water and steam engulfs the shower. They were at it again in the shower this time as a couple. The Missouri was theirs now and it was going to be called once again to do its task and help build the new future and to not forget about the past. Everyone knew that the future would be golden and it was going to stay that way, no matter what.
