Pure and Carolina were talking while they were heading down the stairway to the next circle, Gluttony.

Carolina: I didn't know it was that bad up top, I'm so sorry that happened to you and those people inside you.

Pure: It's something I have to live with but it's not so bad having all these powers and having a new family.

Carolina: At least some things are better for you now.

Pure: But what about you, why are you down here and not on the earth? I know you are not that kind of girl.

Carolina: Well it's one story I don't like to tell but...

Pure puts his hand on her shoulder.

Pure: It's ok if you don't want to tell me.

Carolina: It's best if you knew though. A month after you were declared missing I was kidnapped since I was an easy target and everything was falling apart in the Caribbean. I was taken to an unknown location since I was on a plane headed to an eastern direction but I didn't know since I was knocked out for most of the flight, blindfolded, tied up and gagged.

Seth: Wait, how did you know which way you were headed?

Pure: Since she was mostly deaf at the time her sense of direction improved a lot. She was more like a like a living compass.

Carolina: When we landed, I was put into a van and was taken to a building where other girls were raped and tortured for people's enjoyment. I was a different case however; since I came from the Caribbean I was taken to the big room with all of the torture equipment you could think of. I was raped, tortured, you name it, it's been tried on me. I soon started to crave it, heck I even begged for it after they broke me down to almost nothing. I had three kids in the process but the fourth one I died giving birth to. I lasted about five years in there before I was sent to the circle of Lust to pay for my crimes since I didn't hold out and started loving it.

Pure: I don't blame you though; no one can survive those conditions.

Carolina: But it seems you did though.

Pure: I had regeneration so that was a major difference in both our problems.

Carolina: I became a Succubus a few years after that and was running around sucking on souls to feast on; it was a nice change since I was the one torturing the souls to my pleasure. After that I was assigned to a team of Succubus and was doing damage. When they heard you were coming, the demons placed that bomb in my neck to make sure I wasn't going to go out of line, since your mother knew I was a good friend of yours and she knew I would try to help. Once you were coming I managed to steal this collar from the armory without anyone noticing. The hiding spot I found when I was passing by the tower and noticed it, so I made it my home when I wasn't needed.

Pure: Have you ever checked up on your kids?

Carolina: The rules don't allow me to do that, but I can spy on them.

Pure: I'll check up on them for you when we get back up top.

Carolina: And what am I going to do when we get there?

Pure: No idea at the moment, but I'll think of something that you can do. For now, let's focus on the task at hand.

Carolina: Which is?

Vincent: Travel through the circles.

Seth: Defeat his mother.

Randal: Stop the armies of hell from advancing.

Pure: And save the world for a second time.

Carolina: Sounds good.

Vincent: Heads up you two, we are approaching the next circle and it's going to be disgusting.

Pure: How disgusting?

Vincent: You don't want to know, I suggest you hover above it and get some protective equipment for acid and any other type of stuff.

Pure: Would a hazmat suit work?

Vincent: You would have to upgrade the density of it to survive.

Seth: The densest metal is a titanium and platinum mix.

Pure: Can the Nanites do that?

Seth: The metals are in your bag and I can program the Nanites do to that since they replicate themselves. There must be trillions in your bloodstream by now so I can spare a few million to do the job.

Pure: What about Carolina?

Seth: There is a spare on in the bag.

Vincent: But you can't be exposed to the toxins for too long.

Randal: Lucinda's scale is not going to cut it.

Pure: One thing about learning welding is that you always carry oxygen.

Seth: How much do you have?

Pure: Between the two of us, an hour at most.

Vincent: Since we need to fly, Pure's wings will work since they are made of flame and will be the only thing providing flight.

Pure: Then let's get to it.

Seth and Vincent began to work on the hazmat suits so that they would survive the conditions. Randal, Pure and Carolina got the oxygen ready to use for the circle. Once everything was ready they put on the hazmat suits and allowed Pure's wings to be used. They put their weapons away so that they won't get damaged from acid rain. Pure made some orbs that he could use made out of earth and fire to use in case they ran into trouble. He made ten for him and ten for her. They hovered around them as a defense so that any toxins would get neutralized.

Pure: Everyone ready?

Seth: Nanites working and protecting both of you. The chain linking you two together has been made denser and covered in the alloy.

Randal: Oxygen ready to go as soon as you open the door.

Vincent: All you have to do is put your demon hand on that panel to go in.

Carolina: I'm ready over here.

Pure: Activate the oxygen as soon as I hit the panel.

Pure activated the panel and opened the doors to the next circle a cold gust came in and covered them. Randal activated the oxygen in their suits.

Randal: We got an hour.

Pure: Then let's not put it to waste.

Carolina hopped on Pure's back. The flame went to Pure's tails to protect them from any damage. Once the door was opened it was the worst things imaginable.

Pure: Oh my god, nuclear waste, acid rain, every single disgusting thing is down here.

Randal: Please tell me there is a way out of here! –Starts to hurl but holds it down- I'm getting sick in here.

Vincent: Forty minutes in a northwest direction.

Pure went in a northwest direction to the next exit. The souls were trying to get out of the concoction, some actually piled up and tried to grab them but they used the orbs to knock them out at the base to make them fall again. The orbs were relit once they returned by using the Acetylene to relight them once the gas was exposed to the rock and lit with another orb. Once they got close to the way out the souls were starting to come together blocking the way down. It came into a monster with someone familiar.

Voice: Never thought I would see you down here.

Pure, Randal and Seth: Daniel!?

Daniel was located right in the forehead of the monster in command.

Pure: I knew you were stubborn but this is not how I pictured our reunion down here.

Daniel: Since I always disgusted your life and not have time for my own, I was sent here to rot, until our mother managed to cut me a deal to be in one of the armies to control the earth, as long as I could beat you.

Pure: I would like to see that happen.

Voice: I would like to see him try.

Carolina: Who's that?

Pure: My mother, Jasmine.

Jasmine appeared in a pile of smoke in between them.

Pure: Was wondering when you were going to show your face.

Jasmine: Show some respect to the new Queen of hell.

Pure: As if I would even call you my mother after what you did to all of us.

Jasmine: Daniel, be a sweetie and put him twelve feet under for me please.

Daniel: Of course mother.

Pure tried to use the orbs to do damage to him but they had no effect. Pure tried to dodge and get to the lock but it was heavily guarded. A giant wave came from all directions, Pure tried to go up but Daniel was right there to knock him back down. Pure made a ball with him and Carolina on the inside and the fire on the outside since it protected him last time, but they were trapped with no way out.

Pure: We need to get out of here!

Randal: We only got ten minutes left of air!

Carolina: And I hate closed and confined spaces!

Seth: He's trying to push us down far enough that the pressure will kill us. We don't have much time.

Pure: How are we going to get out!

Vincent: Pure, your water element is unlocked!

Randal: And how is he going to use that to stop this!?

Vincent: By using his element against him.

Seth: We have to get out of here first to use it.

Randal: What about just burning out of here like a rocket?

Vincent: He can't use his thrusters; they would get damaged once the rain hits him.

Randal: What about that stuff you use to relight the orbs?

Seth: We need a source of oxygen to mix with it and their tanks are out of the question!

Randal: Not those, his sub tanks!

Pure: Can that oxygen be used?

Seth: It's a slim chance but we have to take it.

Pure used the oxygen tanks from his sub mode to fill the ball with air. Once it was full they made a small hole in the ball so that the mixture has a spot to escape and propel them upwards. Then they released the Acetylene inside and waited it to mix fully. Once it did Pure wrapped a tail around both of them to protect the suits from the blast. When Pure lit it a roar could be heard from under where they were. Pure used his fire power to increase the flames and push them straight out of where they were. They blasted out of the mess going straight up. Pure unraveled his tails when they got high enough.

Daniel: I thought you were supposed to be dead!

Pure: You know I can't be killed that easy.

Randal: Will you hurry it up! You got five minutes of air left!

Pure: I'll make this quick.

Pure formed a massive water blade out of the acid rain and radiation around him. He then set it on fire which lit up the entire circle. Daniel tried to block and counter but it was no use, his own element was being used against him. Pure quickly made mincemeat out of the monster and Daniel. Once that was done, Pure went to the hatch, opened it and went inside before their oxygen was empty. They quickly closed it and Seth made a neutralizing agent which Pure made quickly and poured on the Hazmat suits before the toxins could get to them. They then took off the hazmat suits before they were out of oxygen.

Pure: Oh my god that was close!

Randal: Too close! You guys had a minute of air left!

Pure: Catch your breath we still got to move on.

A call comes through to Pure.

Pure: -breathing heavily- Yeah.

Alisha: Pure, you alright? You sound a little out of breath.

Carolina: Yeah, no kidding the third circle almost killed us.

Alisha: Uh, who's that?

Pure: A friend that is down here helping me out will tell you the rest when we get back up top. You were calling me about...?

Alisha: Just calling to tell you that things have picked up and everyone is asking about your progress so far.

Pure: We are one-third of the way down and will be heading to the next circle soon.

Alisha: Care to tell me about your friend a little bit?

Pure: Old friend from school was bound to the circle of Lust, not thinking of trying to seduce me, she is my slave, kind of and she is helping me cut through quicker.

Alisha: Seth?

Seth: He's not lying.

Alisha: Randal?

Randal: He is not playing any cards here Alisha, she is just helping.

Alisha: And where is she exactly?

Carolina: I'm on the line and I'm not making a move towards him whatsoever.

Alisha: Hmm, I trust you, for now.

Alisha hangs up.

Pure: She is going to kill me when we get back.

Carolina: Don't worry I'll explain when we see her.

Pure: Thanks.

Once Pure and Carolina caught their breath they headed down to the next circle, Greed.
