Many days had passed on the fort and everyone was hard at work with their projects and work. Just then an alarm rang in Pure's systems.

Randal: Whoa, what is that noise.

Seth: It's Pure's alarm for when he has to deliver the next bottle of champagne

Vincent: And check up on how his sister's torture is going.

Pure turns off the alarm.

Pure: And I never disappoint.

Randal: Wait a minute, what about our bodies?

Vincent: The link will still stay active since I am around providing the connections in hell so we should be fine.

Seth: Did you get good champagne?

Pure: A 1992champagne from France.

Vincent: That should age well.

Pure: Vincent, open a portal and get back to your work, I'll handle the big guy.

Randal: You sure about that?

Pure: He knows he does anything outside our deal he is toast, a demon hardly breaks their own deal.

Vincent: Rarely, very rarely.

Pure grabs the champagne from its container and Vincent opens the portal and lets Pure go through. He finds himself outside the palace and he goes inside. He finds Lucifer on his throne with the chain system still linked to him.

Lucifer: Welcome back, Pure.

Pure: Hello Lucifer.

Lucifer: I trust you have what I ask for every month?

Pure: Already chilled and ready to pop. Pure walks up to the throne and hands Lucifer the champagne.

Lucifer: Ooo, a good year.

Pure: Ok, I got to ask. Where is your new wife?

Lucifer: She would be right behind you.

Trixie tries to jump out and try to harm Pure but Lucifer pulls on her chain stopping her in her tracks and keeping her in place. Pure turns around and looks her right in the face.

Pure: Hello Trixie.

Trixie: I should kill you for putting me down here.

Lucifer: Now, now, that is not how you treat a guest in this home.

Trixie: Grrrrrr......

Pure turns his head and looks at Lucifer.

Pure: Is she giving you a hard time?

Lucifer: A little, but I can manage it.

Pure: Started to torture her yet?

Lucifer: Started as soon as you left the last time.

Pure: Feisty in bed?

Lucifer: You have no idea.

Pure: That's my sister for you, she was always feisty even before I knew about our Fox Spirits. Speaking of which, how do you control that thing?

Lucifer: An incantation is on her preventing her from getting any ideas.

Pure: Good because I would hate to pummel her again in her true form.

Trixie: I'm right here, you know!!

Lucifer: I need to talk to you for a bit regarding the soul I let you escape with, walk with me.

Pure: uh, what about her?

Lucifer ties the chain down to make her stay in the air.

Lucifer: She will be fine.

Pure and Lucifer walk down a hallway.

Pure: Ok, what is it about?

Lucifer: I know she is your slave and all but she needs to check in regularly down here. We need to keep track of everything. Speaking of which, how is that love triangle working for you.

Pure: You were keeping an eye on me, weren't you?

Lucifer: You got potential kid. A guy like me would hate to see it go to waste, especially since you can repair this world and keep it spinning for all of us to enjoy.

Pure: Even though you will take it over when I get old and die.

Lucifer: You can't die kid, all of that radiation, mechanization, demonization and Nanites has slowed your body to a standstill. Even if your body gets destroyed your other parts will just regenerate you. Even if you are blasted to molecules, but you still haven't answered my other questions.

Pure: I will tell her to check in regularly, the love triangle is working fine, that's if you don't count how much they want me, but other than that its smooth sailing.

Lucifer: She has to check in once a week at least, ok?

Pure: OK.

Lucifer: Good, you may go now and see if you can bring anything older for me.

Pure: Will do.

Pure calls Vincent and he opens a portal to get out of hell. Meanwhile Lucifer goes back to the throne room, pops open the champagne and pours it into a champagne glass.

Lucifer: Now, where were we on breaking you?

Pure goes back up and head to where Alisha and Carolina were torturing the captured terrorists and getting information out of them. Carolina was amazed at the techniques she used to get the information out of them and decided to learn a little bit so that she could be better at strategies and tactics.

Alisha: You see; you just tweak this nerve right here and...

Terrorist: -screams out like a little girl- All right! I'll talk! I'll talk!

Carolina: Wow that was excellent!

Pure: Hey girls, how are the interrogations going?

Alisha: So far so good. We got locations of hidden contraband and hostages to be taken back to their locations and distributed for world repairs.

Carolina: The way she does interrogations is fascinating.

Pure: Well, the learning will be cut short. Lucifer told me that you have to check in once a week back in your circle.

Carolina: Aw come on! I thought since I had this on I would be off the leash.

Pure: Afraid not.

Carolina: Ugh, fine.

Alisha: At least I will get some time with him.

Carolina: Aw hell no! You had him the most last time!

Alisha: Don't you have somewhere to go?

Carolina: Grrrrrr... It better be double, next time.

Pure: Let me guess, you two were keeping tabs, weren't you?

Carolina: Trying to keep the relationship even between both of us.

Pure: Well, it's going to be triple by the time you are gone.

Carolina: Well, I'm out catch you later.

Carolina opens a portal and leaves to check in with the circle management.

Alisha: Looks like I have you to myself again.

Pure: Ok, you know you are in trouble for not keeping the relationship even, you know that right?

Alisha: Yup

Pure: And you still want more?

Alisha: Yup.

Pure: Ok, fine but you better ask for it before she gets back.

Alisha: Yes!

Pure: But for now you got some information to extract, starting with him.

The terrorist she was torturing was trying to inch away like a worm.

Alisha: Catch you when I'm done here.

Pure and Alisha kiss and then Pure leaves.

Alisha: Oh no you don't, you and I are not finished yet.

Pure heads down the hallway and screaming could be heard coming from her interrogation room. He passes by Arachnid, who was checking up on Randal and his investigation of any bad apples within the workforce.

Pure: Hey guys, how are you two going.

Randal: Good, Alisha working her magic again?

Pure: She loves that.

Arachnid: I don't blame her; she knows where it hurts.

Pure: Speaking of which, any bad fruit in the workforce yet.

Randal: Been going through them with a fine tooth comb, nothing is popping up on databases and background checks.

Pure: Keep at it, how are your things going on your side Arachnid?

Arachnid: Lucinda, Sandra and Artemis are making drops and runs to the new tree sanctuaries and locations marked for tree regrowth. The squad that was deployed for soil and water retrieval has returned and the twins have started analyzing and making compounds to neutralize the toxins and bring it back to good levels.

Pure: I'll leave them alone and let them do their work.

Arachnid: Seth and Mima are helping them out with the calculations and experiments. Alisha's Fox Spirit is keeping them company while yours is helping Horatio and Jack with some heavy lifting and placement.

Randal: Speaking of which, Vincent said he needed some help with a certain weapon development.

Pure: OK, I'll head that way then. Need anything?

Arachnid: Nah, we are good.

Pure heads to the weapons section of the fort where Vincent, Jade and Trinity were busy with some upcoming weapon designs for the world and the team.

Pure: Hey guys, what's wrong?

Vincent: We got a problem, we got this weapon online for anti- air and space defense since you didn't want the rail guns built out in space for someone to hack and hit the earth so we decided to use that tech for planetary defenses here, but the problem is the right type of ammo since depleted uranium would tear it apart and do more damage than expected.

Pure: Try lead going up and test it out on those rail guns in space to destroy them. I don't want anyone getting any ideas of hacking them and ruining all of what we have fought and built so far.

Jade: Any recommendations?

Pure: Cobalt and Titanium blend to survive the heat and pressure of leaving the atmosphere and got enough impact to hit and deflect the meteor. Only use the depleted uranium to split a meteor straight down through the middle to prevent it from hitting in case it is too big.

Trinity: Will start testing when we get the bullets and rods prepared to fire.

Pure: I will check on Horatio and Jack to make sure everything is ok. Need anything here?

Trinity: Yeah. Got any decent oil around here?

Pure: In the storage, second shelf, left side.

Trinity: Thanks.

Pure heads to Horatio and Jack's section of the fort to find his Fox Spirit holding a turret in place to put down for a new drone defenses and units around the world.

Jack: Easy now, a little more to the left!

Horatio: Gently, now.

The turret locks into position.

Jack: Got it!

Horatio: OK, bolt it down!

They bolt it down and the fox spirit lets go.

Jack: Nice job. You too big guy!

Pure's Fox Spirit rubs up against Horatio and Jack.

Pure: Hey guys!

Horatio: Hey!

Jack: Pure, you are just in time, we just finished putting together the first drone unit for all terrain use.

Pure: Sweet, what do you call it?

Horatio: The Roamer.

Jack: It has tank traction, anti-air and anti- tank weapons, can hover for a fixed amount of time before recharging, is solar powered and can survive any temperature.

Pure: Nice, can you guys make a portable base out of the blueprints?

Horatio: Of course, it would help heavily for any long missions and better connection to the drones.

Jack: We got other drones to build to go with the one we have here.

Horatio: But we will need some help from the Technical team to build the connection to them and be able to handle all of that data at once.

Pure: A few AIs should solve that problem.

Horatio: Thanks.

Pure: I'm going to start the construction of the parts needed and will help with some of those blueprints.

Jack: thanks

Pure: Need something to eat, boy?

His Fox Spirit nods and they head to the cafeteria to get something to eat before they head back to work. Pure went back to his section of the fort and started construction of the new defenses and blueprints. When he was done for the day and the work day was coming to an end, he went and had a shower and Alisha caught him in there.

Pure: Whoa!

Alisha: Mind if I join you?

Pure: You have really got to stop doing that!

Alisha: -giggles-

Pure: Even though I can't have a heart attack anymore, you can still jump me out of my skin!

Alisha: Well I know another way of jumping your bones.

Pure: Carolina is going to kill you when she gets back.

Alisha: I know.

Pure and Alisha kiss and were at it in the shower, happy that she can at least get some alone time with Pure for one day a week. Meanwhile Carolina was filling out some paperwork and knowing her rules about being about outside her circle. She was a little disappointed about having a small limit on her time up top.

Carolina: Ugh, I am going to have a banquet on those two when I get back.
