Once he was all prepared, the machine side taught him how to contain his radiation as to not harm others by going back to the blast zone, ripping apart the box that survived the blast, adding it onto his body and heated it up. It went into his body, it went under his skin and the machine side confirmed he was not leaking any radiation. Once that was done he took flight to find out where he is. It was hard at first to fly, but the machine side was a quick study on the controls to fly properly and find people to tell him what happened, what is his present location and how long he has been captured.

With both sides; using flight and using the 10 tails together to go like a plane to find someone. The machine side scanned for life signals and signs of radiation to make sure he was out of the dead zone and to find a signal to get how long he was gone for.

His beast instincts picked up life just outside of the radiation zone. The machine side confirmed on it and pure decided to check it out but was careful if it was friend or foe that was after him. He then shut off his propulsion and glided in as to not let suspicion arise. Once Pure touched down he moved behind a vehicle and then proceeded to find the answers he needed. He then proceeded quietly, without causing alarm to the big tent to find someone to talk to but was ready with his weapons in case anything gone wrong. He then readied himself and entered the tent. He found a long blonde-haired woman sitting on a computer and made an attempt to disarm her and get some answers. He used his tails to grab her gun and restrain her. She struggled but it was no use she tried to scream but one of the tails silenced her before a sound came out. Then they started to talk.

Woman: MMMMMMMMMMMM!!

Pure: Calm down, I won't hurt you I just wanted to talk. Can you please not scream?

Woman: -nods-

Pure lets the tail off her mouth.

Woman: Who are you? What are you?

Pure: My name is PURE. What I am I don't know anymore and you?

Woman: My name is Alisha of the 57th regimen and we are inspecting this radiation blast.

Pure: I can tell you what happened only if you tell me what country you are from.

Alisha: The United States of America, why?

Pure checks the dog tags to see if she was lying. The beast side smelled when she lied, in which she wasn't and the machine side used the tails to check to see if her pulse was racing everything was normal.

Pure: What year is it??

Alisha: The year is 2040 why do you ask?

Pure releases Alisha and finds a seat to sit down and is shocked of that information.

The rest of the regimen come in the tent to find them talking but Alisha stopped them from coming and told them to stop and wait. But one of them exclaimed of PURE's radiation coming from their Geiger counter.

Pure: Don't worry I can contain my radiation so it won't harm you.

One of the soldiers checked to see if that was true and confirmed the radiation was stored inside him and had no way of escaping or harming anyone. Few stood outside to keep watch while the rest stood inside to inspect him and hear his story. They let him plug into the internet and let him get up to speed on what has happened over the years since he was trapped since 2016 and let his systems keep track now he has a signal. Once everything was cleared up they gave him some body armor and decent clothes to wear since the ones he had were giving off minor radiation levels and he agreed to take a radiation bath and that's when they took a picture, with his permission of his back to see what the UDI (Ultimate Defense Industries in acronym) did. Pure was in shock to see all of it removed and replaced with the reactors to amplify his power. They relayed all of this to the base and they said to bring Pure in tomorrow morning. Alisha was watching Pure from a distance kneeling down and had her handgun in her hand. The captain came over and was talking to her.

Captain: Keeping an eye on him?

Alisha: Just thinking about what he went through.

Captain: Yeah, that was definitely horrifying.

Alisha: I'll keep an eye on him; make sure he doesn't pull anything.

Captain: All right.

The Captain leaves and a solider came to her side.

Solider: So, are you going to give him a hard time?

Alisha says nothing and she uses her gun to hit the solider in the face, the solider walks away and leaves her alone Alisha was just watching Pure and his new body. Since he was regenerating his human parts that were still there was buff and chiseled, she was just thinking how he came through all of that and still look so good. Pure was almost seven feet tall, a really good tan skin, his hair was down to his thighs with the three wires in it, his mechanical hands and feet were partially skeletonized but his blood could still pump and he could operate his limbs properly and his tails were almost enchanting to her. She hid her mouth using her arm and was actually biting her lip to how much that was sexy to her.

Pure was helping out the soldiers with lifting and maintenance of their equipment. Since Pure was super strong he could lift up their trucks easily and he could give them some repairs with his tails helping and them having a few tools to keep the trucks going.

Night started to fall again and they invited him to stay with them till they get back to base from this mission. Pure agreed and managed to get at least something to eat since his reactors were regenerating him so he didn't need food. When they turned in for the night there was no extra bed but Pure said it was ok since his tails were more comfortable. Late in the night Alisha started hearing Pure talk in his sleep, tossing, turning and starting to sweat.

Alisha: Pure, Pure wake up!!

Pure wakes up in a cold sweat.

Alisha: Are you ok?

Pure didn't talk.

Alisha: it's about what happened isn't it?

Pure turns his head way from her.

Alisha: It is ok we are here now.

Pure: But what they did to me haunts me, haunts us.

Alisha: I know I would be doing the same thing if I was in your shoes. When we get back to the base we will tell the world of what happened to you and find a way to reverse it.

Pure: It can't be reversed, now I have to live like this for the rest of my life which seems to never end since I have this regeneration capability. I'm a monster.

Alisha: Well I think you're not.

Pure looks in Alisha's eyes and smiles.

Alisha: Well we got a big day tomorrow so, good night.

Pure grabs Alisha's hand.

Pure: This may sound childish but...

Pure's face turns red.

Pure: Will you keep me company tonight?

Alisha nods and grabs her blanket.

Pure: you won't need it but you might need your gun under the pillow.

Alisha laughs and grabs her pillow and gun and Pure wraps his tails around both of them.

Pure: Comfy?

Alisha: Surprisingly, yes it feels like on the best mattress in the world.

Pure: Yeah they are pretty soft from what they can do.

Alisha: Well, good night –she kisses him on the forehead-

Pure: -face turns red- Good night.

They quickly fell asleep thanks to the softness of Pure's tails and were ready to head back to the base to tell what happened.
