"What are your names?" "Did Ladybug and Chat Noir give you their Miraculous?"

"Woah, woah, woah, one question at a time." Cheshire said, laughing,"I'm Cheshire. And yep, the mighty Chat Noir has given me his Miraculous!" Lady Luck went on to say,"Lady Luck."

"What about Marinette and Adrien? Are they safe?" Lady Luck hesitated, then said,"They are safe. Them and their families are hidden somewhere we will not state for obvious reasons." The reporter nodded appreciatively. Cheshire gave a glance at Lady Luck, because Gabriel Agreste was missing. 

"May I ask what plans do you think Hawkmoth has?" A reporter asked them. "We're not sure, but it's not going to be good." Lady Luck shook her head,"But we promise to try our best to protect Paris from the evil Hawkmoth!" She said confidently.

The reporters cheered as Gabriel angrily switched the television off. "They wouldn't be calling me evil if they knew what I was doing this for! They don't know the pain of losing a loved one!" Gabriel said, as Nooroo flew out. "Understandably so, Master, but don't you think-"

"Silence, Nooroo!" Gabriel ordered,"So... they've hidden Marinette's family and my family as well... except for me, of course... " Gabriel gritted his teeth, seething with anger,"Lady Luck, Cheshire, I will get your Miraculous!"

(spoiler: he won't.)

"You didn't tell the reporters that Adrien's dad was missing." Cheshire noted. Lady Luck replied,"That'll be a secret. Paris doesn't need to be more scared than they are already." 

"Okay then... we're quite the team, aren't we?" Cheshire smiled. Lady Luck returned the smile, just when her earrings started to beep. "Oops, gotta split!"

Lady Luck grappled across the roofs until she reached her school. Just in time, as well, when she jumped inside the bathroom window, she transformed back into Luise. Tikki materialized next to Luise, giving her a big big smile. "You did great!" Luise handed Tikki a pink macaron that Marinette had given to her the night before, saying,"Thanks. We might actually be able to defeat Hawkmoth!" Luise said, filled with confidence.

"Yeah..." Suddenly, Tikki's face seemed a little sad again. "What's wrong?" Luise asked. Tikki shook her head,"I just miss Marinette..."

"Oh.." Luise didn't know how to respond.

"But you should get to class." Tikki said, and Luise nodded.

The chatter in the classroom was deafening when Luise slipped back into her seat. "Hey, where were you, Luise?" Genny asked. "Bathroom... I guess I missed a lot? Is the world ending?" Luise said. "Woah girl, you missed so much." Genny said dramatically,"There's new superheroes!"

"Lady Luck, and Cheshire... apparently, Ladybug and Chat Noir gave their Miraculous to these new holders!" "Oh my god!" Luise said excitedly,"So Paris is safe! Oh, I really missed a lot!" Genny gave her a small bump, smiling,"You did."

'Not really...' Luise looked around the classroom. Louie's look on his face was enough to make her smile.

"Class, settle down." Mrs Leandres (I used a name generator, do not blame me) clapped once,"I know it's exciting and all, but we do need to get back to class." Genny groaned next to Luise,"They just couldn't let us take a small break."

Luise just took out her notebook. Just because she took a detour to save Paris didn't mean she could fail the test coming up soon.

A lonely boy sat in his room, devastated. He and his girlfriend had just gotten into an argument, which were super rare. Mylene and Ivan always got along, until now, of course.

It was a silly reason to fight over, and Ivan now felt super bad about it, but he just couldn't find the courage to apologize to Mylene. Ivan had always been a stubborn person, and secondly, he was afraid Mylene wouldn't forgive him.

He buried his face further into his arms, as a lone black butterfly flew into the room through his open window. He didn't notice the butterfly until it flew into his bracelet that Mylene had made for him.

He gasped, his head jerking upwards. A purple mask appeared on his face, glowing. A voice spoke in his mind,'Stoneheart, I am Hawkmoth. Your girlfriend is mad at you? Show her who's right and who's wrong!' Ivan shook his head. He couldn't help Hawkmoth!

'All you need to do in return, is get me Lady Luck and Cheshire's Miraculous!'

"No..." Ivan muttered, but Hawkmoth continued,"To aid you, I will give you the Miraculous of the Tiger, granting you the power of Clout. You will be able to use it infinitely. Do we have a deal?"

Ivan wanted to resist, but he couldn't fight the temptation of power. He gave in, and his body was coated with a purplish light. He transformed into a big figure made of stone, and gave a loud growl.

Hawkmoth gave an evil smirk in his lair.

He was back in action.

 "The new superheroes are pretty cool, don't you think?" Domino asked Gladys, who immediately nodded,"Yeah, of course!" "Mhm! I would love to meet them!" Layla added. 

"I think I like Lady Luck more." Adelaide said,"She's pretty, if you get what I mean." Gladys raised one of her eyebrows,"A new ship? With Lucky and Adele?" Layla giggled,"You've only looked at her through a hologram and it's already love at first sight!"

Adelaide blushed,"No... it's more of... admiration, I think." She sighed, a bit happily. Domino gave a glance to Gladys. Domino chuckled and put a hand on Adelaide's shoulder,"I'm sure Lady Luck will also fall heads over heels in love with you when she realizes what an amazing person you are."

"Mhm." Adelaide seemed lost in her own world. "Well, personally, I think Cheshire is cooler." Gladys said. 

Chantelle came striding up to them, saying,"I think they're both ridiculous. I mean, okay, they saved us from butterfly man, yeah, but it was two against one and they still didn't get the Miraculous from him. I could've done so much better." "It's hard being a superhero, I'm sure-" Layla started, but Aletta butted in, having overheard their conversation. 

"God, can you respect them? They saved Paris!" Aletta said,"You just cowered in your seat." Chantelle looked hurt,"I'll tell the principal you said that! That's bullying!" With that, she walked away. Aletta called after her,"I just said they saved Paris! That's true!"

"Don't mind her." Domino put a hand on Aletta's shoulder,"She's always thinking she should be the one to do everything." "You're right. I shouldn't waste my sarcasm on her. Anyways, I was thinking of a sleepover.. just for the girls!"

Luise sat in the library, studying. Most people would be at home doing homework or playing video games at this time, and the library was practically empty. 'Peace and quiet.' thought Luise. 

Luise didn't know why, but the library always felt like a better place to study/do homework than her room. Maybe because there was no traffic noise from the outside and she wouldn't get distracted. Maybe because she didn't have any other hobbies than reading and chess. Luise didn't have a lot of friends to spend time with because she was very quiet and didn't socialize much. 

'Luise?' Tikki's small voice piped up,'Your phone is ringing.' "Oh!" Luise had been so invested in the book that she was reading that she didn't notice her phone was buzzing. "Hello?"

"It's Genny. Where are you?" Her best friend sounded quite nervous. "The library. Why?" "Girl, get out right now! There's an akuma attacking the city, close to the library! Get to safety!" "Huh? Oh, okay!" Luise ended the call quickly and Tikki said,'Quick, Luise!'

"I know. Tikki, spots on!" Luise transformed into Lady Luck and dashed out onto the streets. To her horror, a large stone figure was attacking the building near her. She remembered that the akumatized villain was called Stoneheart and was one of the first people to be akumatized when Hawkmoth first showed up.

"ROAR!" Stoneheart growled and slammed his fist onto one of the buildings again. It crumbled like paper and Lady Luck could hear frightened shrieks coming from the wreckage. "Oh no..." Lady Luck needed to save those people! But she needed a distraction.

"Just in time." She smiled at her partner, who had arrived,"Distract the stone guy! I think some people are trapped in the rubble. Lead him to the Eiffel Tower and we'll think of a plan there." Cheshire nodded, jumping away onto the roof of the library.

"Hey, stone head!" Cheshire called. Stoneheart turned and brought his fist down on Cheshire. Cheshire agilely jumped away. Lady Luck noticed some kind of chain bracelet thing on Stoneheart's right hand, maybe a panjas bracelet? 

She decided that it might be the akuma, but from her memory, the akumatized object before wasn't this obvious. It was a paper ball, she thought. Of course, the akumatized objects could be different every time, but would Stoneheart really wear it in such a obvious place?

She was skeptical but she went to help the people first. Luckily, none of them were harmed very badly, just a few scrapes or cuts here and there. Most of the people had run out just in time. Lady Luck brought them to a safe place before grappling away to the Eiffel Tower.

Along the way, she found multiple demolished buildings. "Huh, these seem so much more damaged. The whole building has collapsed!" She thought. It must've been something to do with the panjas bracelet. She thought she remembered it somewhere.

She reached the Eiffel Tower just to see Cheshire being slammed into a wall near her. "Cheshire!" Lady Luck gasped as she went over to check on her partner. Cheshire got to her feet with a loud groan.

"Are you okay?" Lady Luck asked. Cheshire replied,"I'm 'feline'  a little more bruised than before but yes, I'm okay. Generally." She frowned,"His punch was way harder than I thought." "You think- Careful!" Lady Luck grappled Cheshire away from the villain who was charging toward them.

"You think it has to do with that jewelry on his hand?" Lady Luck finished. Cheshire glanced at the panjas bracelet,"I'm not sure. I don't remember if he punched me with his left or right hand." 

Stoneheart roared and aimed another fist at the superheroes and they jumped back as a giant crater appeared in the ground. Lady Luck noticed that he was using his right fist. Stoneheart threw another attack and Cheshire pulled Lady Luck away into an alleyway. This time, it merely shook the ground. Stoneheart was using his left hand.

"It definitely has something to do with the panjas bracelet. His hits are harder when he's using his right hand. Maybe it enhances his strength." "Then that has to be the akuma, right?" Cheshire asked. 

"Probably. Okay, I'll use my yo-yo and tie up his hand. I'll pull it back and you can go on and cataclysm the jewelry." Lady Luck said. 

Suddenly, someone tapped her on the shoulder. Lady Luck whirled around to find an anxious girl with braided hair. Lady Luck recognized her as Mylene, because they had gone on a field trip together, both their classes. 

"Mylene... isn't it?" Lady Luck asked,"Get to safety!" Mylene shook her head, surprisingly. "That's my boyfriend, Ivan. We were arguing and he was probably akumatized. I feel bad... can I help? Last time he was akumatized, I talked to him and he was easily de-akumatized. Please let me talk to him!"

"Um..." Cheshire glanced at her partner. "That's brave." Lady Luck said,"But that would be..." "Totally not dangerous, let's go." Cheshire grinned,"If she wants to help then let her help, meow?"

(The cat references were totally learnt from Adrien, Marinette thought as she watched the news. She groaned.)

(In the meantime, Adrien was grinning proudly. Cheshire did listen to him in that five minute lesson he had given on how-to-be-a-good-chat-noir/cheshire. )

Mylene glanced gratefully at Cheshire before walking out from the alleyway,"Ivan!" Stoneheart looked around and noticed the girl,"Mylene!" "I'm sorry, Ivan! We shouldn't fight! We should've settled it peacefully but I got mad at you, I'm sorry! Please don't be angry." 

Stoneheart knelt down and picked Mylene up gently. "Of course. I was just afraid you hate me now." He rumbled, bringing Mylene to his cheek. 

"Awww..." Cheshire stared happily at the pair,"They're so cute together." "Uh.. I guess?" Lady Luck replied. "Oh, sorry, I just like shipping people together."Cheshire said bashfully,"Never mind me."

"Well, you have to cataclysm the bracelet first."Lady Luck pointed out. 

Cheshire nodded in response. "Cataclysm." She said quietly. A ball of black energy appeared in her palm. She leapt forward and ran towards the akuma, building up momentum so that she could jump up and touch the bracelet.

Just then, Lady Luck detected a message from her yo-yo. It was Marinette, calling her! Lady Luck decided that any message from Marinette had to be important, so she accepted the call. "Lady Luck?" came Marinette's frantic voice,"The bracelet isn't the akuma! Don't touch it!" 

Lady Luck was shocked for a second but then she came to her senses. "IT'S NOT THE AKUMA!" She hollered at Cheshire frantically, hoping her partner would hear her.

Cheshire heard her partner yell but she had already taken a running leap. Scrambling in mid-air, Cheshire turned just in time for her back to slam onto Stoneheart's massive arm. Her hand closed into a fist as she avoided touching the jewelry. With a groan, she tried to get to her feet but neglected to remember that Stoneheart's hand was very much lumpy, not level at all.

She stumbled before losing her balance, falling down onto the street. "Goddamn it." Lady Luck could hear Cheshire mumble. She helped Cheshire up as she said apologetically,"Sorry. Marinette said that wasn't the akuma."

"It's alright, I guess." Cheshire stood up, wobbling,"But I thought..." Suddenly, there was a small yelp coming from Lady Luck's yo-yo. "Marinette?" She asked,"Is everything alright?" "Never mind," came Marinette's breathless voice,"But to answer your question, that's the Tiger Miraculous!"

"What?" Lady Luck couldn't believe her ears,"So you mean Hawkmoth gave that to Stoneheart? How?" "Apparently. I didn't recognize it until he punched that ground with so much force, and I finally realized."Marinette sighed. 

"But..." Lady Luck stammered,"Th-then where's the akuma? And... so we have to defeat him? But he has a Miraculous as well!" "Well, he doesn't have much of a motivation to defeat us anyways,"Cheshire pointed out,"We can ask him-"

She was interrupted by Hawkmoth's deep voice,"Stoneheart! I see you got your loved one back, but we made a deal! Now's your time to fulfill your end of our promise." Stoneheart grumbled, but then he replied,"Yes, Hawkmoth."

"Wait, Ivan-"Mylene said frantically, still grasped in his massive hand,"Don't listen to him!" Nevertheless, Stoneheart said,"I have to. A promise-" His glowing yellow eyes shone brighter than usual for a second, then dimmed,"is a promise." He finished.

"You've got to be 'kitten' me." Cheshire said,"Never mind what I said, we're doomed."

Lady Luck nervously swung her yo-yo in a fast circle, creating a red shield. Cheshire followed suit and twirled her baton quickly. 

"The akuma might be in his other fist." Marinette noted,"It is clenched, and last time it was in his fist, so you might want to try that." "Okay." With a 'bleep', Lady Luck ended the call. She gave her partner a nod and they charged at Stoneheart.

Stoneheart gave an earthshaking roar when Cheshire's staff hit his arm. Mylene yelped. "Oh, sorry-" Cheshire said, but Stoneheart threw another fist at her and she was forced to jump back. "We have to get Mylene to safety first!" Lady Luck said.

However, Stoneheart was very careful not to harm Mylene. He always used his right fist, with the Miraculous to hit the heroes, and Mylene was very safe in his left hand. Lady Luck and Cheshire could not get Stoneheart to open his fist, because they had to be careful not to hurt Mylene. 

"We're getting nowhere!" Cheshire panted. Lady Luck looked around,"I guess I have to use my lucky charm. LUCKY CHARM!" Lady Luck yelled, and a fishing net dropped into her arms. "A fishing net? That's way too small to capture Stoneheart." 

Lady Luck was pondering when her yo-yo buzzed again. It was Marinette. "Lady Luck, you might want to... see this. Something's happening with the Miracle Box, the box that used to hold the Miraculous!" 

Cheshire was parrying Stoneheart's attacks, too busy to care. "I'll be right back." She shouted, before leaping away. Stoneheart gave a growl hearing this, stomping towards the heroine, but Cheshire distracted him with another tap from her staff. 

"Over here, you hard-headed akuma!" Cheshire grinned at her own pun and ran in the opposite direction of Lady Luck, leading the furious Stoneheart to somewhere else.

"What is it?" Lady Luck asked. Marinette took out a red, round box with oval symbols engraved on it,"This is the Miracle Box. These ovals resemble the Miraculous that used to be here. Since they were stolen by Hawkmoth, they turned gray. Until... now. " Marinette showed her the circles, which were lit up.

"I thought it was a trick of the light but then I realized they were actually glowing... with different symbols, colors."

"Why?" Lady Luck asked again.

"Usually I take them out with the yo-yo, but you're not the guardian, I remembered. So I just... reached in and took out... these." Marinette gestured to a pile of accessories laid out on the table. 

Lady Luck rushed over, inspecting the accessories. There was a pendant, a charm bracelet, a hair tie, a hairclip... They were all either black or gray, very plain. They weren't remotely pretty at all.

"What are they? They couldn't be..." Lady Luck said,"Miraculous, right?"

"They might be." Marinette answered,"Usually, Miraculous have a camouflage mode, they turn into normal jewelry with no indication they're anything special. You should know that." Marinette gestured to Lady Luck's earrings,"When you're in your civilian form, they turn black."

"But I thought all the other Miraculous were stolen by Hawkmoth? Why would there be more?" Lady Luck questioned.

Marinette said,"I don't recognize them. They might be..." Marinette's eyes locked with Luise's ones. "New." She finished.

"There's only one way to find out. Asking the kwamis of these... Miraculous."

Anyways, I wanted to *emphasize* the relationship between Lady Luck and Cheshire(can't say I've done that, really), like the duo relationship before we move on to the group! Next chapter obviously some new Miraculous holders will be introduced so stay tuned, folks!
