We don't ask what happened to the first the Anyway story time!

    The soft thud of paws could be heard over the carpeted floor. A Green and Blue raccoon walked around placing down some boxes. His brown eyes scanned around the room. Some of the boxes had been unpacked, but others had not been unpacked yet. He sighed seeing how much he had to get done. “Break time” He stood up from the box dusting off his fur. Flicking his ears slightly. There was a knock at the door drawing his attention to it. “I wasn’t expecting a guest” He muttered before going over to the door and looking out. A short fennec fox who had the colors of a normal fox with cyan eyes one ear was slightly bigger than the other and had black tips that faded down on his ears, and the tail looked at him from the other side. He waved shyly at the other smiling slightly. 

    Trick tilted his head slightly at the other confused at the other. “Can I help you?” he asked the other. “Wow don’t you know who I am Trick?” the other tilting his head at the other. The fox's ears tilted with his head falling kinda funny on his head. Trick blinked at him confused for a good moment. Then like a ton of bricks it hit him who the other was. “Donisi! How are you? I wasn’t expecting you to come so soon” Trick told him smiling like a goofball. “I thought I would come and surprise you by dropping by early. I hope that's ok with you,” Donisi told the other. Trick nodded “Of course it's fine here come on in” Trick moved out of the way so Donisi could enter into the house. The smaller of the pair slipped past the other and into the home. Trick looked around outside before closing the door and locking it for safety. 

    Donisi watched Trick waiting for the other to finish what he was doing. “So what would you like do?” Trick asked him once they were standing side by side. Donisi gave a hum thinking for a moment. “Well, I am a little tired from the Plane ride so probably drop my stuff off then take a nap, for a little if you don’t mind,” He told Trick. “Not at all I was thinking of taking a break from working unpacking, and I believe the guest room is set up if you want to go and settle down there” Trick informed him. “Yeah” Donisi gave a cute little yawn “If you don’t mind me asking where the guest room is?” he blinked slowly as the jet lag kicked in. 

Trick chuckled at the sleepy little fox “Here let me get your bags, and just follow me” He told the other taking his bags, and walking off. He could hear Donisi trailing after him by the sound of his feet lightly hitting the ground as he walked. 

    After a moment they got to the guest room which had already been set up since Trick wanted to get the bedrooms set up before anything to make life easier. “So here's your room, feel free to get comfortable. I will be in the kitchen getting some water then going back to unpacking.” He informed the other after setting down his bags. “Alrighty, thanks again for letting me stay,” He told him. “No problem that's what friends are for” Trick gave him one last smile before leaving to go and get water. 

    Donisi got his stuff settled down before flopping down on the bed and curling up. The Jet lag took effect right away pulling him into a peaceful sleep. Trick who was in the kitchen and got his water and was sipping on it while scrolling through his social media seeing what was happening. It was now 2 o’clock his time happy with how much work he had gotten down. While he was sipping on his drink a notification popped up from discord on his screen. He glanced at it seeing who had sent him a message. Reading over the message he could see who it was from already from the two simple words. “Hi Fluffy!” He smiled seeing Luna had sent him a message. He set his drink down for a moment so he could respond to her message. “Hi Luna,” He responds to her. After sending the message he swiped out of discord. 

    Unknown to either of the fluff balls who were inside the home at the moment clouds were gathering in the sky. The winds began to slowly pick up not by much but very lightly. As the clouds moved in the sky slowly grew dark as they blocked out the sun. The people who were out on the street looked up and whispered to themselves about the storm before hurrying off not to get caught in the rain. 

*TIme skip to the night time* 

    Donisi woke up after napping for a good few hours to sleep off the jet lag. He could hear the sound of footsteps walking past his door. The scent of Trick wafted in from under the door. He got up rubbing his eyes and walked over opening it up to find the other just about to knock. “Hey” Donisi greeted his voice thick with drowsiness. “Hey…” the other responded, seeming to want to say something that had upset him. “Is everything ok?” The little fox asked worried for his friend. “Well I was about to come, and tell you it seems like a storm has rolled in,” Trick told him his tone serious. 

    Donisi blinked for a moment letting the words sink in. Once they had hit him a loud boom of thunder rolled through shaking the walls slightly. Both of them dropped their ears at the loud noise not liking it very much. “Oh dear,” Donisi mumbled once it had passed. “Yeah, I thought I would let you know since I don’t when it's going to pass so I thought I would come to wake you up to let you know.” Trick informed him. Donisi gave him a sweet smile “Thanks though I don’t think I can sleep in this storm.” After the thunder had passed it had woke him up good and well shaking all sleepless from his being. 

    “Yeah I understand that would you like to go watch some movies or something on the couch till we fall asleep?” Trick offered to try to make the other feel better. Donisi nodded slightly stepping out of the room, and into the hall with Trick. He closed the door behind him making sure to grab his phone on the way out. “Lead the way Fluffy,” He told the other giggling. “So I see you picked up the nickname from Luna then?” Trick asked being used the nickname since Luna had dubbed him Fluffy. He had been the first out of their little trio to be nicknamed. Then Luna who called her self baby fluff ball and finally Donisi not long after Luna had been given the name Smol Fluff. The funny part was Luna and Donisi both got their nicknames on the same day. 

They walked to the Living room cause Luna doesn’t know Trick's layout. (Ahah nope wrong fix the fourth wall please! *Duckie tapes the forth wall back. Let's try that again!) They got to the living room. Donisi flopped down onto the couch waiting for the other to come back. Not long after he had left Trick dropped some blankets down on Donisi surprising the other slightly. “In case we get cold” Trick told him before going and putting on the movie. Donisi grabbed set the blankets up so they could both be cozy while watching the movies. 

A little while into the movie rain started to come down and mixing with the sounds of the movie and the storm. Donisi slowly fell asleep listening to the sounds of the rain and thunder mix every so lightly with the movie. Slowly the little fennec fell back asleep. Trick who wasn’t paying attention to Donisi suddenly felt a weight land on his shoulder and body. He turned his head slightly and found the other fast asleep leaning on him. He blinked for a moment before just lightly shrugging so as not to wake up the other. 

*Warning Platonic cuddles ahead don’t like then skip* 

Not longer after Donisi fell asleep Trick started to drift off. Before he fell asleep he carefully moved to where Donisi was cuddled on his chest while the both slept. Trick put his arms around the other acting like a blanket. He closed his brown eyes and drifted off listening to the sounds of rain and soft snores from the other. 

While they were sleeping the storm slowly grew stronger and the thunderclaps got louder with each passing hour. Some time around 3 to 4 am a thunderclap came through. 

BOOOOOOOM! Trick woke with a start at the sound. His eyes shot open when he heard the sound. His ears flicked slightly confused and worried about what the sound was. Slowly he evened out his breath. “What in the world” He murmured slightly after calming down. He looked around the room and out the window seeing the storm blowing around. Outside his window, some branches had broken limbs. Carefully he moved his arms to where he could hold Donisi in his arms while sitting up. 

He looked down at the little fluff ball in his arms smiling. Somehow Donisi was sleeping through the storm while Trick had been started awake. He sighed softly before settling back down so he could try and get back to sleep. Donisi who slightly woke up after being moved around a little looked up at the other confused and concerned. “You ok Trick?” he asked yawning slightly. “Yeah, just a thunder sound woke me up and this is normal when I would wake up but I wanna go back to sleep” He murmured. 

Donisi nodded before nuzzling his head under Tricks. Yawning slightly they both settled back down slowly each drifted off to sleep. The sounds of the storm acting like white noise and helping each sleep a little better. 

*Later that moring the platonic cuddles are over* 

Trick slowly woke up from his peaceful sleep. The first thing he noticed was that there was a wight on his chest. He glanced down finding Donisi still fast asleep on his chest snoring every so slightly once in a while. He smiled softly before carefully moving Donisi off his chest and onto the couch onto a nest of blankets. 

Once he stood up he glanced at the time seeing it was 8 o’clock he gave a soft hum wondering what to do now. His stomach grumbled at him letting him know it was time for breakfast. He walked off the kitchen to start some coffee for them both. “What would be a good breakfast food?” He looked around wondering what to make. After thinking for a moment he decided to make some waffles. Grabbing what he needed he got started on the waffles. 

After 20 minutes of cooking, he had all waffles made and on a plate. “Now time to wake up sleeping beauty,” He said placing down the plate on the table before walking off to wake up Donisi who was somehow still asleep on the couch. He knelt next to the small fluff ball and shook his shoulder lightly. “Sleeping beauty wake up,” He told the other trying to get him up. Of course, he didn’t even move much from his slumber. “Breakfast is ready! Come on I made waffles and coffee” He shook Donisi a little harder slightly stirring him. 

Donisi was vaguely aware someone was shaking him and saying something. “Wha?” He cracked a cyan open to see who was shaking him. His eye locked onto brown eyes which were watching him. “Wahey! Sleeping beauty is awake!” Trick exclaimed seeing he was awake. The smell of coffee and freshly cooked waffles hit his nose. “Breakfast time?” he asked slowly sitting up still a little sleepy. “Yep I made some coffee for us and I also made some waffles to go with it,” He told the other smiling. “Thank you big goofball,” Donisi told him before standing up. 

They walked off to the kitchen sitting down once they had gotten some coffee and some waffles for breakfast. “Soooo what happened last night?” Donisi asked Trick after they had gotten settled and started to eat breakfast. “What do you mean?” trick asked him looking up from his waffles. “I mean with the storm. I slightly remember falling asleep on the couch then waking up at some time in the night curled up on your chest and you were awake then you woke me up just now so why were you awake last night?” Donisi looked him dead in the eyes while asking. “A loud boom of thunder woke me up so that's why I was awake and I didn’t mean to wake you up,” Trick told him. “Its fine thanks for telling me also you're a wonderful body pillow” He added giggling. Trick flushed slightly not expecting that. (NOT A SHIP I WOULD LIKE TO SAY NOT A SHIP!!!!!!!!!!). They fell back into peaceful silence while eating. 

The rest of the week continued as normal as if nothing happened. They hung out at Trick's house and played some Minecraft along with finishing setting up his house. No other storms came through for the rest of the week and all the broken limbs and branches had been cleaned up. After a week Donisi left to go back to the US but promised to come to visit when he could some time.
