Y/n L/n is currently talking to Kaon through his mirror Kaon's image in the mirror was that of 7 diamond shaped eyes in a circular formation After a very long conversation with the 13th Lord of Darkness Kaon Y/n L/n had learned many things such as the history of the dreadlords all the way from their conception all the way to the end of Kaon's rule.

Y/n: I understand now your life was very interesting but I must know after everything you've been through why are you helping me now? why are you training me to be your Apprentice? Why do you want me to have what you want pad instead of just taking back what was once yours?

Kaon: because I may have a Heart of Darkness but it does not mean that I am completely evil exchanging your life for my own I could never do such a thing personally when I look at you I see myself and in a way you came from me you are like the son I never had.

Y/n: I am proud to be the heir to your throne.

Kaon: that you should and once you have collected all of my fragments this world and all other worlds Beyond will be yours for the taking.

Y/n: I look forward to that day~

Kaon: for now you best get some rest you will need it for the journey ahead~

The image of Kaon vanished and soon enough Y/n L/n did his nightly routine before he went to bed he then noticed Salem standing in the doorway.

Y/n: hello Salem it is good to see you again is there something I can help you with?

Salem: actually I have something to give to you.

Y/n: your kindness and generosity knows no bounds milady.

Salem: doctor you may bring it in now.

Dr. Arthur Watts then Wheels in a large rectangular box on a hand cart he pushes the Box off the hand cart and then walks away with the hand cart in tow.

Salem: a gift for you commissioned by me and created by dr. Watts.

Salem waves her hand using her magic in doing so the Box opens up to reveal a suit of armor in the style of a beowolf Grimm.

Y/n: WHOA!!!!

Kaon: Indeed!

Salem: this suit of armor is made out of reinforced titanium I used my magic greatly reinforce it the armor will give you enhanced strength, speed, and durability it also has a special insulation field that will protect you from radiation and incendiary attacks and with it you'll be able to disguise yourself and once the time is right you will shed the armor and you will no longer need it.

Y/n L/n was amazed by the wildly awesome armor in front of him it looked like it cost a fortune.

Y/n: it's absolutely beautiful I will wear it with pride and when it is time for me to escape this cocoon and become the beautiful creature that I was always meant to be I will look back on the days I wore this armor with pride.

Salem: I'm glad you liked it now get to bed tomorrow is the beginning of a new age that you will bring in with your Quest.

Y/n: alright then goodnight your majesty I will see you in the morning.

Salem: good night Y/n pleasant dreams.

Salem immediately left the room Y/n L/n immediately went to bed excited for what tomorrow would bring.

Location: Evernight Castle the land of Darkness

Y/n L/n woke up the next morning he immediately performed his morning routine except for his morning training since his weapon was destroyed during the battle of the Inner Circle secret base once he was ready he immediately donned his new armor and he decided to take a secret identity until the time was right for him to take his true identity Y/n L/n look at himself in the mirror admiring his new armor and he decided to take the name Shroud.

Y/n: until the time is right to take my true identity I shall be known as Shroud.

Salem: Shroud I quite like that name~

Ragyo: indeed it has quite an air of mystery to it~

Missi: is quite aesthetically pleasing~

Y/n: I thank you my mistresses I'm glad that you approve of my temporary identity now it's time to get down to Serious Business.

Salem: agreed so are you going to begin your journey today?

Y/n: yes I am and I must do it alone.

Missi: are you sure that's a wise idea?

Y/n: I am very sure I may not possess a weapon anymore but I have all the power I'll need to obtain what is mine but I will need a small Invasion Force if I am to collect the first fragment.

Salem: of course take what you need but I must know where is the first fragment?

Y/n: the first fragment is the heart right now it is being held in the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History it's being displayed right next to the Hope Diamond according to what I've read and Been Told it crash-landed on Earth billions of years ago it's Crash Landing was the event that wiped out the dinosaurs and brought the Cretaceous period To an end a few months ago scientist discovered the heart they've been studying it trying to figure out its Origins according to spiritualists the heart is extremely cursed and anyone who's come into contact with it has been preyed upon by the curse they've experienced death, Lose, suffering, bankruptcy, misfortune, pain, and even Madness many believe that there is a all powerful demon guarding the heart and the only way to get rid of the curse is to pass it on to somebody else and right now the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History has been holding it for the last week according to inside sources the Vatican has been trying to get their hands on it so they can properly dispose of it but I will not let that happen~

Salem: what will you need to secure the heart?

Y/n: I'm going to need a small but powerful Invasion Force they will act as a distraction and while the forces of good are distracted I shall sneak into the Smithsonian and steal the heart right from under their noses~

Ragyo: oh my how brilliant~

Y/n: indeed

Salem: well then consider your request is granted I shall spare as many Grimm as I can.

Ragyo: I will also divert some covers so that they will be under your control~

Y/n: that'll do just nicely now I must go I must do this before the day is out!

Missi: then let it be done we wish you good luck.

Y/n L/n Smiled behind his helmet immediately left the room completely clad in his Grimm armor eventually he made it outside soon enough a small but powerful Invasion force of grimm and covers gathered around him waiting for orders he mounted a griffin Grimm and soon enough he led his Invasion Force against the capital of United States of America Washington DC eventually he broke off from The Invasion Force and he circled round to make sure to avoid any detection soon enough he could hear massive amounts of gunfire he looked towards the White House and he saw the anti-aircraft gun emplacements firing at the Grimm the dragon Grimm he brought with him was dropping land-based grimm from its stomach soon enough he noticed that people were being evacuated he hid in plain sight waiting for everyone to be gone once the Smithsonian of Natural History was cleared out and it was empty he made his move.

Y/n: time to make my move~

Y/n L/n stealthily snuck into the Smithsonian of Natural History eventually he made his way to the second floor to the crystal exhibit and once he entered the exhibit he immediately saw what he was looking for the Crystal Heart of Kaon the heart was made out of a special Crystal that was similar to Amethyst the heart was virtually indestructible It could only be pierced and or damaged by the white blood of Kaon's brother but since there was none of that on Earth it was completely indestructible it could never be damaged or destroyed without the aforementioned white blood the heart acted as a containment vessel for all the power that Kaon possessed it was also the home of his soul but right now it was empty and dormant.

The heart was protected by a thick layer of bulletproof glass the case holding the heart had even been blessed by a member of the church hoping to contain the curse.

Kaon: Y/n L/n I am proud to present my heart the containment vessel for all of my dark power.

Y/n: I must say it's more beautiful than I ever imagined~

Kaon: it sure is it's just as beautiful as the day it was formed when I took the mantle of dreadlord.

Y/n: and now it's all mine~

Y/n L/n immediately tried to break the glass but unfortunately even with all of his enhanced strength all he could do was scratch the glass.

Y/n: damn that's some thick ass tough ass glass!

Kaon: indeed but with my Powers combined with your own there is nothing you can't do~

Y/n: I'm reading your mail~

Y/n L/n immediately started channeling the dark power of the dark lord Kaon in a couple of seconds he was ready He Unleashed a powerful psychic wave of energy directed at the containment case immediately the case began to buckle and crack under the enormous force that was being applied to it eventually it completely shattered as if it were made of regular thin glass as soon as he did this the alarm started blaring.

Y/n & Kaon: it is mine~

Y/n L/n immediately grabbed the Crystal Heart of Kaon he held it in his hands it was cool to the touch but at the same time it felt extremely durable as if you could tie a Anvil to it and throw it off of a large building and it wouldn't suffer a scratch.

Y/n: time to make myself scarce~

Y/n L/n immediately ran out of the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History once he was outside of the museum he noticed that his invasion force was falling just as he planned eventually he managed to hop back on his Griffin Grimm and he left Washington DC with his prize in hand the whole time laughing like a villain who had just accomplished his mission.

Ozpin POV.
Location: the new age Academy

Right now one of the three headmasters of the new age Academy is doing some serious contemplating on what happened at a secret base soon enough got a call from none other than the president of the United States of America.

Ozpin: hmm interesting I haven't got a call from the president in sometime I wonder what he has to say.

Ozpin immediately accepted the communication and soon enough the president of the United States appeared on his computer screen it was none other than president Robert Gray.

Robert: hello Ozpin it's good to talk to you again.

Ozpin: it's good to talk to you to again mr. President what do I owe the pleasure of this call?

Robert: I wish that I could tell you that this call was just for pleasure but this is serious business we need to discuss.

Ozpin: of course mr. President what do you need?

Robert: approximately 1 hour ago an invasion force of grimm and covers attempted to invade Washington DC.

Ozpin: oh my were there any casualties do you need any reinforcements?

Robert: luckily enough we do not need reinforcements and there were no casualties we managed to defeat the small Invasion Force but a couple soldiers were injured but there were no casualties.

Ozpin: good to hear but something doesn't make sense some Grimm might be mindless creatures but they're also smart enough to know not to attack when they know they will lose with no chance of victory and the covers are definitely not mindless monsters they don't work without reason they've never attempted to attack Washington DC.

Robert: you are very much right my old friend but that is the least of our concerns.

Ozpin: what do you mean mr. President?

Robert: during the attack there was a break-in at the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History and something very important was stolen.

Ozpin: what was stolen?

Robert: the object that was stolen is called the amethyst heart its Origins are unknown and it's said to be the most cursed gemstone in the world it actually surpasses the Hope Diamond when it comes to cursed status.

Ozpin: interesting I've heard some interesting and wild stories about the amethyst heart but I thought they were nothing more than mere rumor and legends.

Robert: I assure you Ozpin the stories are very much true over the last few weeks the Vatican have been trying to get their hands on the amethyst heart in hopes of either destroying it or containing it but we decided to put it on display at the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History in the crystal exhibit right next to the Hope Diamond.

Ozpin: are you thinking that the church broke in during The Invasion and they stole it hoping to contain and or destroy it?

Robert: I highly doubt it they would never do something so radical at least not nowadays when it could trigger a war we watch the video surveillance and from what I've seen a man wearing armor resembling a grimm stole it.

Ozpin: could you please send me a copy of the video footage Maybe we can recover the heart and return it to its proper place.

Robert: you are always able to anticipate what I was going to say next that's what I want.

Ozpin: alright then mr. President we shall recover the crystal heart and capture the armored man who has stolen the amethyst heart.

Robert: thank you I'll send you the video footage immediately until then goodbye my friend.

Immediately the communication was terminated and within a couple of minutes Ozpin received a video file on his computer within a couple of seconds he downloaded the video attachment of the message and he watched the footage he was very confused as to why someone would steal something so powerfully cursed there must be an ulterior motive.

Ozpin: now why would someone steal something like that maybe they're attempting to breaking apart and sell it on the black market or they're going to put it on display in their personal collection hopefully it's not part of some sort of diabolical plot.

Ozpin tried to figure out why someone would steal something like that but he came up with nothing.

Y/n's POV.
Location: Evernight Castle the land of Darkness

When he arrived back at Evernight Castle in the land of Darkness he immediately made his way to the conference room where his Mistresses were waiting for him the rest of the members of the dark faction going on their own mission.

Salem: welcome back Y/n I'm hoping your mission was a success.

Y/n: it absolutely was your grace I present the crystal heart of Kaon.

Y/n L/n presented the crystal heart of Kaon to the mistresses of darkness they were absolutely amazed and astonished by the beautiful crystal heart in front of them even though 90% of its power was rendered dormant it still had a staggering amount of Dark power.

Salem: wonderful the first part of your quest was a success I'm so proud of you.

Ragyo: as am I~

Missi: I also must admit I am to impressed.

Y/n: it's all in the day's work~

Salem: if I may may I please take a look at the heart?

Y/n: but of course~

Y/n L/n used his psychokinetic powers levitate the Crystal Heart of Kaon over to Salem she took the heart from Y/n's psychokinetic grip.

Ragyo: I must say your powers are developing quite nicely what kind of powers do you possess as of now?

Y/n: I do possess limited psychokinetic abilities such as telekinesis psychokinesis I can sense the presence of any type of creature within a fifty-foot radius and I have the ability to persuade weak minded individuals.

Missi: how interesting~

Salem took a hold of the heart and she started examining it it was the same on both sides it was perfectly symmetrical and it radiated with a dark power that overshadowed Darkness itself she could feel her dark Powers being Amplified by the heart she also felt a strange sensation when holding the heart as if it were calling to her every single one of her dark instincts and impulses was being magnified to insane levels.

Salem: this gem is so beautiful so amazing so powerful I can feel my own dark Powers being magnified by this beautiful gemstone~

Ragyo felt a strange sensation in her life fibers it was quite strange it felt as if she were both being attracted and repelled by the heart as if it were both calling to her to come towards it while at the same time warning her to stay away.

Ragyo: how fascinating~

Missi she could feel her Monster Energy being Amplified by the heart the cane she carried around was reacting to the heart the eyes of the bat figurehead we're glowing and pulsing with dark energy Missi also felt her dark impulses were becoming more prominent and Amplified by the heart of Kaon.

Missi: what a wonderful gemstone~

Salem: so what is your next Target?

Y/n: next I must go to Chernobyl and collect the Flesh and Blood of Kaon~
