Bruce was nothing more than a common shepherd's boy, he and his brother; David helped their mother in taking care of the farm. If, it could even be called that, considering they really only had sheep.  Bruce and David were inseparable. They were best friends, twin brothers. Then, one day, a man, the king, comes to them. Saying he needed David to slay a beast, to pretend to be his son. That, it wasn't Bruce and David, but instead; Bruve, David and James. They were triplets. Bruce goes with David, not wanting for his brother to die.
David ends up in an arranged marriage, but, it is so clear, by the way that he looks at one of the servant man, he is not in love with Princess Katherine.

Kaleb was nothing more than a servant. A man who was meant to guard the prince, to follow his every order.  He had been assigned to him at a young age, but being the same age. In the beginning, Kaleb had believed that he and James were friends. But, one day, when Kaleb hadn't done what James asked, saying he would do it in a moment, James snatched away what he had been working and destroyed it. He told Kaleb he was nothing more than a servant. That they weren't friends, that he would had never, ever been friends with a servant.

So,  when James goes out on a mission, and doesn't return, Kaleb goes out on a search. He finds James's dead body.

But later, James is standing up, dressed back in his armor. Kaleb goes to help him, thinking perhaps it was the lack of sleep, and he imagined it.  Or, perhaps, the king has managed to find someone to perform dark magic, so his son would be alive once again. But the man in front of him speaks in a kind manner. The man in front of him doesn't look at Kaleb in disgust. He doesn't lecture or threaten Kaleb when he makes a mistake.    And then he introduced a Shepard to him, saying they were friends.   Kaleb knows that this man isn't Prince James.
