Johnny groaned as he sat on the couch after a rough day of work. But he knew it would be well worth it when he was able to get his dad and uncles out of prison. He was working three jobs, going to the moon theatre and going to school all at the same time. He sighed as he looked up at the clock on the wall, it was time for dinner. He went into the little kitchenette and pulled a cup of ramen from the cupboard. Saving bail money also meant not having luxury items besides ramen and peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. Bananas were just too expensive at the moment. And not only that but his dad had done the cooking so Johnny didn't really know how to cook. The timer dinged and he grabbed his dinner and ate, after he looked around the garage. It's been nearly eight months since his dad's arrest, and he really missed him. Oh sure he'd go and visit, since that night at the performance their relationship was really starting to patch up. Sighing once more, he got up and went to the jar he had on the table labeled bail money. He always put his earnings in at the beginning of each pay week, he decided to count the money to balance it and keep it neat. When he'd finished, he had to count it three more times to make sure he was right. He had it! "This is it, I've got it! I've got the bail money!"
