I locked my eyes with Eve. After what she had said earlier was still stuck in my brain. The directors had stopped the shooting for a few hours, so the actor didn't get overworked.

Mike walked over to me and grabbed me by the waist. "I'm so happy you're here. I love you so much."

"I love you too," I said as I kissed him.

After we pulled away, Eve walked up and looked at us. "Hey, guys, I have something I need to tell you both."

I crossed my arms and Mike kept his arm around me. She looked upset, and I felt as if all of this was my fault.

"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to cause you both so much trouble, Maryse really did make progress, and I hope you both are happy."

I released myself from Mike's hold and then went to Eve. I hugged her tight, as I wanted her to know that I wasn't angry.

"I'm not mad at you, and I thank you for coming back to apologize."

She pulled away and smiled. Eve and I had never been friends. In college, she wanted Mike for herself, but that was never possible.

Her and Summer made a connection through parties, and Summer tried to get me to be friends with her, but I just couldn't get past the fact that she liked Mike.

"I should've never said those things about you, because I really do like you as a person," Eve told me.

"I know, I should've tried harder in college to be friends with you, you really are a good person," I apologized to her.

The director called the actors back on set and I felt like going home and waiting for Mike. He told me filming would be done in about two hours, so I wanted to go home and prepare something for him.

"Bye, Eve!" I called as I went to my car.

I drove back to Mike and I's house in LA, and started to prepare dinner. I knew he loved steak, so I was going to prepare one for him. It made me sick to my stomach, to see the dead cow in front of me, but I was willing to do it for Mike.

I called Dolph on FaceTime, so he could help me cook the steak to Mike's liking.

He helped me through the cooking process, and then I prepared salads. The dinner took me almost an hour, and after I was finished, I went upstairs to change.

I put on some lingerie, along with my silk robe. I wanted him to eat dinner, and then we could have each other that night.

I heard the door swing open and in walked Mike.

"Maryse, it smells so good in here, what did you make-" He was cut off by my appearance. "I like this look on you."

"Thanks, I've made you a steak with a salad, and then we can spend the rest of the night together," I said as we sat down.

"Wait," he grabbed my wrist and then sat me down at the kitchen table.

"I know these past few months have been hell, and I should've never left you at the altar by yourself. I messed up, and I've been trying to fix that. So, what I'm trying to say is, Maryse Ouellet," he stopped and reached into his pocket of his jacket.

"Will you marry me?"

I nodded and leaped onto him, even though he was already kneeling on the ground. I kissed him crazy, and he slid the ring on my finger.

"Now, I want my steak," he said as we sat down at the table.

I was going to become Maryse Mizanin.
