Mike's POV

Maryse and I had arrived in LA, and I couldn't have been happier. Hell, my whole life was just full of happiness right now.

I had an amazing career, this movie was going to be a hit, and I had a wonderful woman to be with through the whole thing.

Maryse Ouellet.

She was so perfect, everything about her. I missed her and this entire relationship was blossoming again, and that made me beyond excited.

"Mike, when do you start shooting?" She asked as she put her sunglasses on her face.

"Noon, so I figured we could hang out for a little bit."

She smiled. "Okay, but can we get something to drink first?"

I chuckled and then took her hand in mine. I honestly felt like a teenager in love again, being flirty and funny with her. It didn't feel any different from when we started dating.

I stopped at a street vender and got Maryse water, just like she wanted. She thanked me and then we continued to walk around the city.

"Mike, can you take my photo?" She smiled pushed her phone in my hands.

I groaned. "Really?"

"Just do it."

I took at least fifteen photos of her in front of the palm tree, and I knew she'd be picky with which one she chose. She skipped back over, her blonde hair swinging in the process.

"Here, I took like a million so you had options."

"You know me so well," she smirked as she took the phone and started swiping though the photos.

I smiled as I looked over her shoulder, watching her face as she went through each photo. I saw her delete some photos, but then she finally took one to Instagram.

"Okay, all done, thank you so much," she kissed me and then we headed to get lunch.

"Maryse, I have a question."

"What?"

"Well, I've been thinking, what if you and I go back to the house now, and spend some time not in the city, but just with each other?"

She pondered the thought for a minute. I didn't want to be out in LA right now, considering we lived here.

Maryse and I were buying a new house in LA, so we knew the city fairly well. And the contractor told us that we could live in the house while I was shooting this movie.

"Okay, fair enough."

I smiled and then we took my car home. On the way to the car, Maryse ran into a girl she knew.

Quite frankly, I was pretty sure I knew the girl too.

"Eve, it is so good to see you," she said as they hugged.

"I know, but I must say, I'm disappointed you cancelled our therapy sessions. You didn't make any progress," the brown haired girl answered.

Maryse's face dropped, and I immediately wanted to hug her and tell her that this woman didn't know what she was taking about.

"I wanted to fix the issue my way," Maryse finally said.

Eve crossed her arms and then shrugged. They gave one final goodbye and then Maryse came over to me.

"Maryse, who was that girl?"

"Eve Torres, she was my therapist I was seeing before we got back together."

I furrowed my brows and she still looked shaken up from what that girl had told her.

"She's also dating Zack."

That was how I knew her. Zack had photos of her in his house, and when I was over there, I had noticed them.

"Maryse, it's okay. You don't need therapy, and don't let that woman think you do," I reassured her.

She grabbed me into a hug and just stared there for a while. I knew she still had issues with me, but Eve came and ruined our perfectly good day.

"Mike, thank you. You don't love me any less for this do you?"

"Maryse, God no. I love you even more," I said as I kissed her.
