Part 45

Dhruv was planning to escape from the police because if he reached Lallan and his men's hand then no one could save him. He knew to where he will be taken... to the building which is located in Delhi. It was the heart of the city. To reach the place, they have to cross many signals. If he raises his voice like police is misusing their power on him, he will get the public's attention. It may turn in to HUMAN RIGHTS issue. Then, without any option left, Police should surrender him to the police station. They can't dare to kill him if he gets the Human Rights Commission's attention. Thank God they didn't close his mouth. He was planning to shout when their jeep crossing the signals.

Of course, Dhruv's plan was brilliant. But Arnav Singh Raizada was not DUMB though.

Dhruv got perplexed seeing the Jeep, taking another diversion. Yes, this time, he was taken to the place where Akshay was kept. That place's atmosphere itself made him lose his confidence.

Naushad: I'm taking leave. Take care of him.

Lallan: Thank you, sir.

Naushad nodded and was about to leave the place...

Dhruv: AC sir, don't leave me here. Take me to the police station. Or else...

Naushad: Or else?

Lallan: Sir, we will take care of him.

Naushad left the place smirking, not giving heed to Dhruv's shout.

Dhruv: Sir, please... take me with you... they will kill me... sirrrr.....

Lallan: He will also do the same if you go with him. Do you know what third-degree treatment is?

Dhruv gulped.

Dhruv: ok, do you want to kill me? Just do it.... Come on....

"You can't die that easily Dhruv"

He heard it from behind. His inner soul shivered hearing a wrathful voice of Arnav. He turned around and saw Arnav standing like a fireball.

Dhruv: Arnav.... what you are thinking is not true. Let me explain...

Arnav looked at Lallan. He took a sword from his back which he was hiding in his shirt.

Dhruv: Arnav... don't do this... this is a matter between us two. Don't bring these guys in it.

He blurts out in fear, not thinking that Lallan and his men will be a thousand times better than Arnav.

Lallan was about to take a step, Arnav stopped him, showing his palm. Without uttering a single word, Arnav removed his coat and tie. He kept those on the chair. His gaze was not moved a bit from Dhruv while doing that. Arnav signaled Lallan. He removed Dhruv's Handcuff.

Arnav(looking at Lallan): Let him go if he knocks me out.

He said the sentence, slowly and steadily.

That was the "do or die" moment of Dhruv's life. He can save his life only if he wins Arnav. But Arnav didn't give him this BIG chance to save his life. He was that confident that Dhruv can't win him. If Arnav's skin has transparency, we could see how inside him is burning in anger.

Dhruv ran towards Arnav wrathfully, bending his head to bang Arnav's stomach. Moving a little, Arnav locked his head in between his left hand and his body. And Dhruv received continues punches on his stomach. He can't even touch Arnav forget about knocking him out.

Who is more aggressive? That was a life-saving chance for Dhruv. He will die if he fails. And his death won't be a normal one. Though that was a battle of saving his life for Dhruv the venom inside Arnav for Dhruv was immeasurable... tenfold higher. Each and every punch fell on Dhruv were not just punches but the remembrance of how Khushi behaved with him in the drug effect.

Dhruv started bleeding. Arnav fisted his fingers and punched on his face collecting all the strength. Dhruv's "implantation teeth" got broken and he fell on the floor.

Lallan: Game over.

Arnav: It's not over. It just begins.

Lallan looked at him.

Arnav: Don't treat his wound. Let the wounds get dried till tomorrow evening.

Lallan nodded yes. Lallan's men made Dhruv sit on the chair and tied his hands with the chair.

Arnav pointed at the direction where there was a five feet length and width water tank.

Arnav: Fill the tank.

He ordered. Lallan gestured his man and he turned the "Motor" switch on. Water started to fall into the tank.

Lallan: Yes ASR... but why this tank is here?

At the same time, Arnav received a call. He looked at the number and attended it.

Arnav: Yup... (pause) bring them inside.

They saw few people bringing a medium size fish tank full of fishes. The fishes not seemed SHOW fishes nor looked familiar. Arnav showed them the tank and they put the fishes into the tank.

Lallan: What do you want us to do?

Arnav: Nothing. I'm locking this place from outside.

Lallan(perplexed): But...?

Arnav: You have to stay inside for the next few days.

Lallan: I know we did a mistake last time. But we will be careful this time ASR.

Arnav: I know you will. At the same time, I too must be careful from my side. A few men will stay outside. They will provide you everything through the window. If you want to come out for anything, call me.

He started walking... Lallan's men divided into two. One group stayed inside with Lallan whereas others followed Arnav. He left the place after locking the door.

Lallan had no idea about Arnav's order. He decided to wait until tomorrow evening.

Arnav was working on his laptop. Khushi rushed out of the washroom with Arnav's shirt as she saw a blood drop in his shirt.

Khushi: Arnavji, get up...

Arnav got up from the recliner frowning. She lifted his T-shirt and checked his chest.

Arnav(chuckled): Why are you tempting me now?

Khushi: Shut up.... Anytime... same thinking...

Arnav: What's there to think more than that? That too, when my wife is willing?

Khushi (panicking): See, there is a blood drop in your shirt. How did it come?

Arnav was stuck. He composed himself and removed his T-shirt.

Arnav: See, nothing happened to me.

Khushi looked at the stain intensively. Arnav snatched it from her hand and threw it away. He sat on the recliner and pulled her beside him.

Arnav: You have spoilt my mood. I thought...

Khushi: This is too much Arnavji. Because of you I skipped my pooja today morning. Don't forget that.

Arnav: but you were doing pooja when I came from the office, in the evening.

Khushi: Yes, I did.

Arnav: So, it was equalized.

Khushi: wait I will bring you tea...

Arnav: I want tea with coffee...

Khushi(looking at him weirdly): Tea and coffee, together?

Arnav nodded YES.

Khushi: But...

Arnav: It's a kind of code... my college mates used...

Khushi: Means?

Arnav: Tea represents Lip lock. (Khushi widened her eyes) And coffee represents Lovemaking.

Khushi tried to go from there. Arnav clutched her upper arms and dragged her on him. He leaned on the recliner hugging her.

Khushi: Arnavji leave me...

Arnav: Not until I get Coffee with tea...

Khushi: No way...

Arnav: A lot of ways are there...

Khushi: Arnavji behave... Nanne will be at home anytime.

Arnav: Hari Prakash will take care of him.

Khushi: But what will he think if we keep our door closed?

Arnav: He will think, YOUNG couple are enjoying their lives.

Khushi: Young? Arnavji, you are going to be thirty in a few months, don't forget that.

She said controlling her laugh. Arnav's facial expression changed.

Arnav: You are right...

He said seriously.

Khushi(feeling bad): Arnavji, I just...

Arnav: I have already wasted thirty years.... I have very little time to enjoy my life... Let's go...

Khushi: Where?

Arnav(smirking): To the bed...

Khushi: What the....

He circled her waist and lifted her casually.

Khushi: Arnavji this is not fair...

Arnav: How dare you tease me? I will show you how youthful I'm.

Khushi: I was kidding...

Arnav: Whatever, you have to pay for it.

She paid... Arnav showed how youthful he is... I'm sure; Khushi will never dare to tease him, taking his age...

Aman and NK were confused. They didn't get any information from Assistant commissioner Naushad. They knew, Naushad was searching Dhruv keenly. They were getting only reply from Naushad that "We are searching for him" which made Aman and NK restless. They observed; Arnav was often getting vanishing. Both of them knew how aggressively Arnav wanted to get Dhruv and he wanted to punish for what he did. They couldn't come to the conclusion what's happening.
