Next Morning

City Hospital

Arnav was sitting beside Khushi who was sleeping on the bed. She didn't come out of the medicine effect it seemed. Arnav caressed her hair softly. His mind was rolling down in the whirl. He was thinking deeply about Dhruv. This time; will be the LAST TIME for Dhruv. His mind got distracted, seeing a Nurse coming.

Nurse: Sir, Doctor wants to meet you.

Arnav: Yup... look after Khushi.

Nurse: My duty is over sir. Day-duty Nurse has already arrived. She will be here in few minutes.

Arnav nodded ok and left the room.

Doctor: Thank you so much Mr. Raizada. Because of you, we got some ideas about the drug. We have sent the teacup to the lab for tests. We will get to know the content of the drug. Soon, the Medical field will find an antidote for the drug.

Arnav: How is Khushi's condition?

Doctor: She is fine now.

Arnav: Will the drug affect her in the future?

Doctor: We can't say anything as of now. As we don't know the content of the drug. But, Mrs. Raizada's blood test results seem normal. Hope she will be good. Ask her to continue the medicine for three days. She will be alright.

Arnav nodded yes and headed to the room where Khushi was being admitted.

At the same time....

Khushi opened her eyes slowly. She felt an unidentified state of her body. She couldn't open her eyes easily. She tried to move her legs and she felt it so heavy. Extreme tiredness pressured her body. Squeezing her eyes, she opened them finally. She frowned seeing herself in an unfamiliar place. She ran her eyes and understood that it's a hospital. That's when she remembered what happened yesterday. Don't know how suddenly she got strength. She sat jerking. She examined her hands, legs and got stuck feeling extreme pain in her body... especially in the lower body. She bit her lips but she couldn't control her tears from flowing down. At last, the evil had won? How could he? She hugged her knees and cried. She had lost herself to the devil. He did what he said...

As she frightened, her nightmare became true. How could she face Arnav with this flaw? He would have watched the video sent by Dhruv. Nothing would be the biggest punishment to a husband than seeing his wife with someone. Because of her, Arnav got the punishment. How much Arnav wanted to get close to her? Nevertheless, she never let him come close to her... But now, a dog called Dhruv took her purity which belongs to only Arnav.

Where is he? Before he comes, she has to do something. She couldn't see his face. She got down from the bed and looked here and there. She saw some operative instruments were being kept in the tray. She rushed to it and took scissors from the tray. She thought Arnav's face one last time. Closing her eyes, she spilled tears and raised her hand to stab herself.

"CLICK" sound of the door dragged her attention. Arnav, who came inside the room got jammed seeing her standing with scissors, crying. She raised her hand to stab her stomach. With a horrible expression, he raced towards her and snatched the scissors from her hand.

Khushi: Arnavji please give it back. I don't want to live. I can't....

Arnav (shouting): Why Khushi? Why the hell?

Khushi: Because I had lost my purity.

Arnav swallowed hard. He didn't expect that she would take this hideous decision because of his deed.

Yes, he thought so.

Arnav: Khushi listen to me. It's not at all your mistake. It's all medicine's effect.

Khushi: So what? How could I live with the flaw? I feel ashamed of myself Arnavji.

Arnav: Khushi please don't be....

Khushi (exclaiming): You can't stop me and you can't safeguard me all the time. I will kill myself by hook or by crook. I won't live after what Dhruv had done to me. Arnav: Khushi what you are thinking is not true.

Khushi: No Arnavji. I know what would have happened yesterday. He would have sent the video to you too. You got to know what I did with him. I don't want to live....

Arnav: Khushi you did nothing with him.

Khushi was stunned. She was staring at him unbelievably.

Arnav: Yes Khushi, it's me.

Khushi (Nodding NO): No... you are lying.

Arnav: I'm not lying. I have reached RM before Dhruv touched you. He was not in our room when I came there. You were sitting on the bed pressing your head, in the beginning, stage of the drug effect.

Khushi was gazing at him blankly.

Arnav: I... I didn't take advantage of the situation Khushi. You tried to kill yourself in the medicine effect when I denied listening to you. I had no other choice to save you. So I didn't deny you when you...

Khushi (cutting him): Is it... is it truly true? Or, are you lying to save me?

Arnav (nodding no): Last evening I crossed the limit to save your life. Now also I'm telling the truth to save your life.

That's when Khushi's sight fell on his neck where there was a fresh bite mark. It looked reddish. She remembered Dhruv's words, "you will believe when you see some love bites on my body". And she observed Arnav was trying hard to hide his swollen lower lip.

Arnav: Khushi I'm sorry. I didn't do that to...

Before he completed the stance, Khushi threw herself on his chest. She hugged him as tight as possible burying herself into his chest.

Arnav: Khushi I'm sorry. Please forgive me.

Khushi (nodding no): No Arnavji, You had saved me, you had saved my reputation and you saved me from the beast. Thank you so much Arnavji. Thank you so much....

A satisfactory smile crept on Arnav's swollen lips. He wrapped her in his arms and kissed her hair. Khushi eyes spilling tears and, it's definitely a happy one. She couldn't stop herself from smiling on his chest.

They stayed for a while. Arnav sensed the difference between the hugs. How strong they were last night and how pleasant this hug is....even though she is hugging him tightly. He couldn't stop comparing.

Khushi got her sense back. What is she doing? How can she be happy when Arnav was in love with someone? How could she ruin his happiness? He already had done enough to save her from Dhruv. It's more than enough for her to be thankful to him.

And he himself told that whatever he had done with her last night was only to save her life, nothing more than that. She couldn't take it in her favor. She pulled herself from Arnav and turned opposite to him. Arnav got confused about her action.

Khushi: I'm sorry. I have lost my sense, then and now.

Arnav frowned at her stance. What happened to her suddenly? He wanted to get cleared it up, there itself. He took a step ahead and stopped as the Doctor came to visit Khushi.

Doctor: How are you feeling now Mrs. Raizada?

Khushi: I'm alright Doctor.

Doctor: you can take her home ASR.

Arnav nodded yes.

Doctor: Follow the medicine.

Khushi nodded ok. Arnav settled the bill and left the hospital with Khushi.

RM

Arnav and Khushi arrived RM. Khushi looked so stressful. She walked taking slow small steps. Arnav came to her.

Arnav: Hold my shoulder.

Khushi (nodding NO): It's ok. I will manage.

She said not looking at him. She was about to take another step, Arnav held her upper hand stopped her from moving. Before Khushi said anything, he scooped her in his arms and marched in.

Khushi: Arnavji put me down....

But ARNAVJI was not ready to go with her words. He strode inside not giving heed to her words. He put her on the bed.

Arnav: Take rest. Don't get off the bed.

It was not less than an order.

Khushi: I'm alright...

Arnav looked at her raising his eyebrows. That look questioned her a lot. She laid down on the bed quietly.

Arnav: I will just come.

He left to see Dhadi.

Dhruv was surrounded by three sides. He couldn't move out anywhere. There was severe checkup took over by the Delhi police all over the city. Lallan and his men were searching him in every crook of Delhi. And the detective Rohan was also on duty for twenty-four hours. Dhruv was frustrated like ever before. He thought to leave Delhi in the next morning. That's why he kept his staff in the airport clock room. He chose to go to Singapore and got a tourist visa for three months. He didn't think that his plan backfire like this.
