Part 19 

Biting her nail, Khushi was sitting on the bed. Her stance was echoing in her head.

"I don't have to prove to you that what I did with my husband inside our room."

How dare she....?

Khushi(in mind): From where did you get that guts Khushi? That too in front of everyone...

She hissed in pain as she bit her finger instead of the nail. She smiled looking at her finger where she bit. Her sight fell on the recliner where Arnav sleeps... She recalled her first night happenings, how he picked her to the room and he slept on the recliner... She remembered the story of the Raizada family. How pity Arnav is that he lost his mother at a young age... And how great he is that he accepted his stepmother's sons and keeping them with him in the same house. She felt so good to be his wife. What he would have thought about her declaration of first night? She felt something in her heart. She again bit her nail nervously and saw Arnav coming inside. She stood panicking whereas Arnav smiled at her with unnamed expression.

"I'm a married woman now. I have my own family. Arnavji is my husband. I won't change my mind... until my last breath. No one could change that. if anyone dares to speak about it then you will perform my final ritual. Mind it."

Arnav recalled her stances. He felt so proud. Dhadi was right, didn't she say, "Khushi will never give up on her husband?"

Seeing him smiling at her teasingly, Khushi rushed to the poolside. Arnav smile became wider seeing her rushing. Taking a piece of paper, he wrote his phone number and kept it on the table, wanting Khushi to see it. He looked at the watch and left to AR as he had a very important meeting to attend.

Dhruv was passing in his room like a wounded snake even though he was weak. He couldn't hold his anger. But he didn't know, with whom he should be angry. He never expected this twist. How Arnav got married to Khushi? Didn't Aman and NK spoke about a girl who stole Arnav's heart? Then why did he married Khushi? Something sparkled in his mind. Why not he play using this wildcard?

His criminal mind plotted something. He saw Khushi coming out of her room. He made sure that she sees him. Taking a knife, he moved to tiptoe, looking here and there, towards Dhadi's room, making Khushi nervous.

Khushi horrified seeing him doing that. Will he stab Dhadi for not supporting him? She followed him, hiding behind the pillars. Dhruv confirmed that she is following him. He entered Dhadi's room. Subadhra Raizada saw him coming with a knife.

Dhadi: Dhruv...

Taking a fast step, he kept the knife in her feet, kneeling in front of her. Khushi frowned seeing that.

Dhadi: What are you doing?

Dhruv: Please kill me Dhadi... I don't want to live...

Dhadi: Dhruv, calm yourself down.

Dhruv: I lost my Khushi... I can't live without her. I want her Dhadi...

Dhadi: Stop it Dhruv. Stop it right now. She is your Bhabi. I don't want you to think about her any more.

Dhruv: Bhabi? How Dhadi? Just for society sake, Arnav married her... just to save Raizada's reputation. But why don't you think about what Arnav want? Doesn't he have feelings? He is in love with someone Dhadi. I heard NK and Aman were talking about his LOVE when I went to AR. Why should he stay in this relationship without interest? Poor Arnav. How would he have felt when he was forced to get married to the girl who he doesn't like?

Trace of confusion crept on Subhadra's face. She looked at him shockingly. Arnav loves someone? Khushi's state was not to be estimated. She gulped hard.

Dhadi (composing): But he is married now. That's all that to be considered. It's his life. He knew very well how to mend things. So you don't have to worry. Change your mind.

Dhruv: Just because of a critical circumstance, why three of us should suffer? Khushi is my life Dhadi. I wanted her in my life even after getting stabbed by her. What does that mean? She is my life. She is everything to me. Like the same, Arnav also adores someone in his heart. Then how could he be a good husband to Khushi? I can't see her suffering for love Dhadi. Aren't you always stand for RIGHT? Why not now? For the sake of damn Society, please don't spoil our lives. Arnav is a pillar of this family. But why should he always bear the pain? Isn't he a human to live his life with the girl he likes? Poor him. Usually, he doesn't like anything. But now, he likes a girl but you snatched his happiness by tying a girl forcefully.

Dhadi: I really can't believe this.

Dhruv: What if I prove?

Dhadi looked at him bewildered.

Dhruv: That, Arnav is in love with someone?

Dhadi: is it true?

Dhruv: I will find the girl and bring her in front of you.

Dhadi: Do it. We will talk after that.

Dhruv saw Khushi leaving the place with disappointment. He smiled inwardly as his plan worked. Hereafter, Khushi won't dare to get close to Arnav. He supposed and continued his acting.

Dhruv: And if I prove that Arnav and Khushi are not happy with each other, Will you make them Divorce?

The shock was visible on Dhadi's face.

Dhruv: don't repent if you see Arnav and Khushi are suffocating with each other. Please free them from this relationship Dhadi...

He hit the point. Dhadi left the place said nothing. Dhruv sighed in relief. But he didn't know, Khushi heard his last stance too. Of course, she wanted to leave the place but she didn't. Because she wanted to know about Arnav's LOVE in fullest. Now she got to know, what exactly Dhruv wants.

She rushed to their room and thought about what to do. She felt guilty. She didn't think of Arnav, in the processes of getting rid of Dhruv. Dhruv was right. Arnav also has his own will and wish. He has all the rights to live his life. He married her for his family. Why should he bear the girl who he doesn't like? She shouldn't disturb Arnav. She can't be a hindrance of his love life. She has to let him go in his way.

But Dhruv is all set to prove their marital status to Dhadi. He is waiting to eat her like a Hawk. She should handle the situation carefully. In the processes of saving herself from Dhruv, she shouldn't stop Arnav. At the same time, she can't save herself from Dhruv without Arnav's help. She has to make Dhadi believe their relationship is working, keeping a distance from Arnav. What a life-threatening situation is this?

But what made her confuse is, why Arnav is acting cool like he is absolutely fine with this marriage, when he is in love with someone? Is he that much bounded with family commitments? Does anyone leave his LOVE for his family? What a noble quality he has... How a great man he is... Just because he married her, he is trying his best to protect her. Poor him. She can't use his helplessness into her favour. She has to go away from him when Dhruv brings his LADY LOVE. That will be good for everyone.

She concluded unaware of the truth that Arnav's LADY LOVE is none other than SHE.

Her sight fell on the chit, which Arnav kept on the table, writing his phone number. She took the receiver and dialled Arnav's number.

Arnav saw his mobile when "Home" flashed on it. He thought it must be Dhadi. He attended the call.

Arnav: Hello... ("silence") Hello Dhadi ....("still silence". Arnav thought for a second...) Khushi...

The call got disconnected. He had no clue whose call that was. He was about to call again, NK called him to attend the conference for which he came to AR. He thought to call "Home" afterwards and went after putting his phone on voice mail.

Two hours later...

Arnav came to his cabin and checked his mobile while taking a glass of water to drink. His hand stopped near his mouth. He kept the glass on the table without drinking water, seeing Khushi's voice message. He opened it hurriedly.

"I'm sorry for speaking in front of everyone about us... First... night. I got irritated seeing Dhruv taking advantage of the situation and tried to influence Dhadi. I shouldn't have done that without knowing your stance. Please forgive me."

Arnav smiled rolling his eyes. He sensed hesitation, repentance and also firmness in her tone. Not bad seems like, it's not that hard to mend Khushi if he try to get close to her. He tapped the phone on his forehead with his trademark lopsided smile, unaware of, what Dhruv had created in Khushi's mind.

Arnav is all set to get close to Khushi. And Khushi is planning to keep a distance from Arnav. Let's see, what FATE has planned for them. But one thing is confirmed that we are going to get many things to relish.

Dhruv saw Arnav's car entering RM vicinity. His dirty mind acted fast. He has already confused Khushi with Arnav's LOVE matter. And this is time to make Arnav anger. Doesn't he know Arnav's anger? He won't think anything straight if he gets angry. He planned what to do and rushed to Arshi's room. Standing outside, he ran his dirty eyes inside. As he didn't find Khushi, he got inside and closed the door but left without locking it. He sat on the bed silently.
