I let my head sag forward as having to hold it up started to give me a headache. Barely keeping eyes open I hear Chungha end the call. Her feet come into my view and then her hand is slapping my face. I raise my head to look at her, but she turns away and calls for someone at the door.
The door to the small room opens and in comes a woman with dark brown hair and a matching pair of warm brown eyes walks in. She nods to Chungha and then heads over to me.
"Don't even think about trying to communicate with them we took your little microphones." Her fists shake and the little black bulbs shine in the florescent lights from above.
With one last look Chungha shuts the door carefully behind her. I let the familiar looking woman take my face into her cold hands so she can check my head.
"Do we know each other?" I softly asked as she opened the purple medical box.
Her small hands quickly work to get out a sterile wipe and some scissors. She takes my head back into her hands before she answer me.
"I'm sorry I don't think we h-"
"The school." I interrupt, remembering I caught a glimpse of her face before she ran out the door. "You're Mia, Right? The teacher that quit."
She stops wiping and looks at me for a moment. Her eyes enlarge in recognition before a smile graces her pink lips.
"Oh- yeah that would be me. What's your name sweetheart?" She asks, setting the now red stained wipe onto the floor beside herself.
"I'm Luna."
"So you probably covered for me then." Mia said while cutting a piece of tape. The snipping of the scissors being the only sound in the room besides our breathing.
"Can I ask why you quit...I remember you calling the kids demons."
Mia doesn't hesitate to admit she hated those kids. She recalled having to yell at them so many times to behave and that her worst experience was when she accidentally fell asleep and they decided to put Elmers glue in her hair.
I couldn't imagine my students being so reckless. Sure they had their moments but these stories were starting to sound a little exaggerated.
"Do you mind if I asked how you came to be with Chungha?"
Her eyes shifted to mine before she gave a sad smile. I waited patiently as she gathered the supplies and placed them back into the box.
"Believe or not when I quit my teaching job I was somehow casted by Chungha herself. I remember being at the mall when she told me how much I would love it at her company."
It was eerily similar to how Chungha and I had met. Only I was being held captive and Mia here was on her own free will?
"So are you a model now?" I wondered out loud.
Mia snorted quietly and with a shake of her head, I frowned. She brought her legs to her chest and gave me her full attention.
"Not many know this but Chungha is declaring bankruptcy...part of the reason why she kidnapped Ana and then eventually you." Mia suddenly revealed. Her dark eyes watching my mouth drop open in shock.
"So that's why she wants Taehyung's company? And you're helping her achieve it?"
Mia shook her head 'no'.
What is she going to do? Use us as a negotiating thing?" I rolled my eyes with a sarcastic smile.
I watched as Mia clicked her teeth. "That's exactly what she's planning on doing."
"What-"
"But that's not the only person you should be worried about." She warns.
"And why should I trust you?" I asked her, narrowing my eyes at the woman in front of me. "How do I know you're being completely honest and that I shouldn't be wary of your presence."
Mia turns to look over at the door. Then she leans in to whisper. "Luna...I'm glad you're questioning who and what but right now we have more important matters." She blinks boredly and then continues. "Honestly trust no one here...but most importantly that friend group you have is not what you thought it was."
"What are you talking about?"
"There's a snake." She whispers even quieter.
I feel my heart speed up at the thought of one of the boys betraying us. I couldn't imagine it being anyone of them- well maybe Yoongi but I've grown on him, at least I think I did. My eyebrows furrowed in confusion and I motion for her to reveal who it is.
"The one they call maknae is the rat and also the stepbrother of Taeyong who is Chungha's side piece."
I gasped in shock as the news dawned on me. But it didn't stop there.
"Together they plan on taking over KTH ENT." Her finger taps rapidly on the floor as she takes in my current state.
Still dressed in that outfit from the makeup convention, my hair was in a braid but more of a rats nest than anything. I was sure my makeup was beyond messed up. I sighed in defeat. If I ever got out of here what would happen to the boys, how would they feel about this?
"And what about Chungha? You mentioned just the boys as if they're not with her..."
Mia grins. Her white teeth make their appearance as my eyes travel back up to meet her dark ones. "What about her?" She inquired with a distant look.
The hair on the back of my neck began to tickle from the way she was looking at me. I had no choice but to believe that maybe Jungkook was the mole. Chungha did mention him being the one to post that picture of Taehyung and I on Instagram. It sure sounded like a setup.

I didn't know how long it had been since Chungha left. Mia was still seated in front of me and I was leaning my back against the wall. Arms dead and legs unmoving. I wondered why Mia was still here with me. Maybe I could trust her but I had every right to keep my guard up around her.
Deciding to make use of the opportunity I have I decide to ask her another question, hoping she wouldn't be too annoyed with me wanting to know so much.
"Why are you helping me?"
She looks puzzled at first. Dark eyes squinting in a questionable manner. Her eyebrows lowered with them.
"Why did you tell me about Jungkook when you could have kept it to yourself?" I rephrased, watching the look melt into one of understanding.
Mia twirled a loose strand of her hair around her pointer finger as she took a second took form an answer.
"Well you already know I was casted as a model but that dream is a lost cause... I figured why not do this, help you. Because of Ana."
She met my gaze. Her dark eyes twinkling as she began to talk about the little girl who also happened to be stuck here. I had yet to see Ana and I didn't even know if she was hurt or if she had eaten- I had no clue.
"We both can agree that Ana is a sweet little girl, that never caused any trouble unless it had to do with the constant nightmares..." She pauses to clear her throat.
"And I'm sure the boys told you about Ana's mother, she's the reason both Ana and Taehyung are the way they are."
I tentatively listened as she placed the pieces together. She knew more than I gave her credit for.
"How do you do know about the Kim's past?"
"My best friend's cousin's mom used to be Ana's nanny." Mia answered as if it wasn't a big deal.
It was a big deal to me. She was the key to finding out just how badly Chungha had treated her family.
"Anyways when she quit working for them just before Chungha had left she told us of the numerous times she had to keep Ana in her room or cover her ears and eyes when Chungha would go crazy and start yelling at them."
I felt the anger bubble in my stomach at the thought of someone being so cruel to such wonderful people. It made me dislike her even more than I already did when they first told me about her.
"When I had heard of the stories from my best friend at the time I had gotten Ana as a student. She never spoke a word- but I let it slide because I knew what had happened previously."
"That didn't do anything." I whispered.
Mia nodded her head in agreement. "Nope I didn't help. I thought that if I just let her be she'll be good...I was wrong."
Her head hung low as if she was ashamed of herself. She knew what that poor little girl went through and yet she did nothing, even seeing the results of sweeping the matter under the rug: nightmares.
"Ana and I grew close at school." Mia's head raises at this.
"When I had first met her, I knew something was off. That motivated me to want to be the one to help her." I take a deep breath and let it out. I needed to get out of here if I still wanted to help her.
With a smile Mia puts a light hand on my shoulder. "That's exactly what Ana needs."
"Help?"
Mia nods "Well yes, but what I was getting at is that she needs a mother figure...you're someone Taehyung can't replace." She whispered, patting my shoulder once more.
