Warning: there is a little fight scene between a child and mother.

Flashback to last Tuesday

The typical sounds of plastic and glass bottles occasionally knocking against each other sounded as the two made their way out of the grocery store.

"All Right look both ways..." Hoseok's cheerful voice said. "And now!" He readjusted the bags in his hands and reached down for Ana's.

With a little smile they crossed the street and made sure to look both ways at least eight times.

"Uncle Hobi." Ana asked, swinging the white plastic bag around with her small fingers. Each time the bag went round she crossed it over to her other hand and did the whole thing again.

The elder hummed in question. His eyes were busy looking for his car keys that he always seemed to misplace.

"Why do we have to look eight times?"

Hoseok stopped for a second, glancing down at the little girl beside him. She was still occupied with the little bag, causing him to breath a small sigh at her cute antics.

"I mean why exactly eight? Why not six or four times?" She inquisitively asked, peeking her dark eyes up at the red haired man.

He smiled and brought a hand to his back pocket. Bingo. He thought while pulling out his car keys.

"Well princess...we look eight times to ensure that each moment we're crossing there's no potential danger." They move to opposite sides of the car.

"I calculated it myself. With your little steps it takes us eight looks." He unlocked the car. "So if we were to look only six times- the other two to four steps that we have left to the other side of the road could have a car that we missed because we didn't look." Hoseok said matter of factly.

Ana absentmindedly nodded her head and got inside the car. Placing the shopping bag on the floor in front of her she waited for her uncle to hop into the driver's seat.

A few minutes went by as she didn't hear him or the groceries he was supposed to be putting up. A sickening feeling in her stomach suddenly appeared as she turned towards the back to see out the window. There was a black van that she hadn't noticed before. Her eyebrows furrowed with confusion as she called out Hoseok's name. He never answered.

"Uncle Hobi-" She called once more.

A scream left her mouth as the driver side door opened and in came the red haired man she called her uncle.

"Sorry I accidentally stepped on some gum." He murmured, tossing the bags into the back seat.

She didn't say anything and just waited for him to close the door. The feeling of dread was still very present as the hair on the back of her neck started to rise. The feeling of being watched took over her little mind.

"Uncle Hobi- can you lock the doors?" She quietly asked, glancing over at him.

He raised a bow and brought his hand to the small button, the small click sounded. She felt better but wouldn't be fully okay until they were far away from this place.

As soon as their seatbelts were on, Hoseok started the engine. The flat tire signal came on and a curse left Hoseok's mouth.

"You didn't hear that from me!" Hoseok chuckled, reaching for the door handle.

Ana's eyes widened in fear when he closed the door and headed to the back. Her eyes following him the whole way there and then he bent down, disappearing from the little girl's watchful gaze.

Ana caught a nearing figure as it passed through her outside mirror. It was coming in from behind the car.

Her small fingers jolted for the lock button on the door. She screamed in fright when the door was ripped open and the familiar woman smiled down at her in victory.

"Did you miss mommy?" Her sickly sweet voice said as she stared down at the little one buckled into the seat.

Ana glanced out the back window for Hoseok but he wasn't there.

"You will see him soon. Come with me Anastasia."

Chungha swiftly moved in to grab Ana. Only the little girl was quicker and turned in her seat, kicking her leg up and catching her mother right in the chin. The woman yelled in pain, it would definitely leave a bruise.

"Get away from me!" Ana screamed.

Chunha, not taking anymore chances, snagged her ankle and slammed the back of Ana's head onto the dashboard, knocking her out cold.

"You should have listened now look at you." She sneered, picking up her daughter's body and placing her into the backseat.

"Where is that big oof?"

"In the trunk. What are we going to do with him?"

"I don't want a murder on my hands...dump him in an alley?" She suggested buckling herself in.

"Roger that." He nodded, stepping onto the gas pedal.
