Fumiko's Saved Dragon

As Fumiko readies herself for the day, an unexpected surprise awaits her at the front door—a gigantic dragon! To her amazement, the dragon transforms into a human dressed as a maid, introducing herself as Yua.

The night before, Fumiko had encountered Yua, the dragon claiming to be from another world, and had rescued her in the mountains. In gratitude, Fumiko accepted a holy sword from Yua, setting the stage for an unusual bond.

With Yua having no place to stay, Fumiko extends an invitation for the dragon to reside in her house and serve as a personal maid, an offer Yua gladly accepts. Initially hesitant due to her forgotten drunken offering, Fumiko's remorse and recognition of Yua's unique dragon talents persuade her to embrace the arrangement.

Despite Yua's proficiency in housework, her unconventional methods often frighten Fumiko, causing more chaos than assistance. Yua's presence also attracts other dragons, gods, and mythological entities to their newfound home.

Yua's father, the Emperor of Demise, strongly opposes dragons interfering with earthly matters. Much like Odin All Father, he desires to prevent dragons from causing chaos on Earth and worries about Yua's well-being.

A conflict between Yua and her father ensues, mirroring the historical impact of Kei, a friend of Yua's, who had restarted a war between Asgard and the Frost Giants with her actions on Hiroshima.

In the face of this father-daughter conflict, Fumiko intervenes, successfully convincing the Emperor of Demise to yield and permit Yua to stay on Earth.

Fumiko's stand against Yua's father prompts a realization about the complexities within families, emphasizing the need to resolve differences. This newfound wisdom inspires Fumiko to visit her own parents, acknowledging the profound impact Yua has had on her life. In a heartwarming gesture, Fumiko invites Yua to join her on this journey.
