Dear Calum, 

I got the news that you were back in town to visit Joy. I pretended not to hear my parents discussing about it, but it was hard not to when their voice was too loud, and the walls were thin. I also heard them say that you were back with her. I heard how you introduced her to your mom, but when Joy came over afterwards to visit me, she told me how your fiance didn't make her feel at ease. But as a good person, I had assured her that you wouln't just choose someone who wasn't worht it. Joy was only worried about you though. 

Anyway, how are you? I've heard that your band was getting bigger and bigger, and I missed those idiots, but just like you, they left me when things got hard. Even so, I'm still proud of you guys, and I wish you all the best in the world. 

Did I ever tell you how your voice always soothes my mind? Probably not, but yes, it always does. Your voice always calmed me down even when there's a raging storm inside. I was a tear drop, waiting to burst. Your voice held the sincerity and peace that can destroy every noise out there. And I never knew a better sound than my name in your lips.
