Dear Calum,

Regret was not something I was familiar with. I never had any regrets back then because I believed, at some point, we intentionally did it. But the only thing I regret was never telling you that your laugh was my favorite song. It was like music to my ears-- as cliche as that sounds, but it's true. We would laugh and laugh until the stars disappeared into the sunrise. You loved my jokes, so I always told you the funniest joke my mind could ever make, and I didn't care that I had looked like a crazy person, the laughter you would later let out was worth it. I heard music in your laughter, and saw poetry in your words. I felt alive everytime I'd hear you laugh.

I'm sorry if I'm boring you too much now. I could go on and on about how your laughter was my favorite melody, but I fear that you wouldn't appreciate it.

I'll stop right here for now, my love.

Yours sincerly,

Bea
