As everyone was going, it was Akari who offered her home to Himai, since she doesn't have any relativities in Oshiooshi.

"Akari, I don't know what to say." Himai said, with a surprise expression to a friend that she barely know.

 She sees Hikari who is still unconious due to the dangerous outcome of the Ofunehiki ceremony. 

"Is ... Is he going to be all right, Akari?" She asks nervously as she looks at him.

Manaka smiles at Hikari, "He's going to be fine, Himai. Don't worry about it so much, Hikari is one of the toughest person I know.

If anyone can survive this, it's Hikari." 

Himai looks at Hikari, but she couldn't stop thinking about Uma, Shelby and Akaria.

It doesn't felt right for her to escape the hibernation, and didn't join Akaria and the others?

As she was lost in her thoughts, Kaname said, "I think it's best to leave for the night. It's late, and I don't want anyone to catch a cold here."

Sayu nods at her boyfriend's concern. "I totally agree. I've been shivering since the Ofunehiki started."  

Tsumgu and Chisaki was the only people left, making sure that everyone in Oshiooshi is safe.

Himai thought, "Why me? Of all the people who escape the five year hibernation, I shouldn't be all alone!" 

That was when Hikari woke up from his coma, looking at Himai with a curious look on his face, wondering what is wrong.

Hikari looks directly at Himai who was lost in her thoughts. 

Hikari asks, "Himai, is something wrong?"  The girl suddenly fell backwards , as she wasn't expect him to be awake so suddenly.

"Akari! Hikari's awake!" Himai exclaimed, running to get his older sister's attention as he looks around in pure curious state.

As Itaru, Himai , Munia and Akari sat around the dinner table, Hikari notices that there was a empty seat that belonged to Akaria.

"Hey, has anyone seen Akaria anywhere?" Hikari ask, which causes Himai to run away from the room, crying.

"Was it something I've said to make her cry?" Hikari asks, but Munia said, "I'll talk to her. " 

She walks up as she follows Himai, but Hikari was too curious of what they were going to say, so he decides to eardrop on them.

"It should've been me! It's my fault that Uma and the others aren't here anymore. I don't know if I can..." Himai said, but Munia hugs her in comfort.

"Don't say that, Himai. You're not alone . You have me, my parents, and Hikari to help you live the five year hibernation.

 Hikari went through a lot during the five year hibernation and I know Manaka loves Hikari." 

Hikari slumps into a nearby wall and couldn't believe what he was overhearing. Akaria, Shelby and Uma went into hibernation.

As Himai came out from crying, she notices Hikari who was silent and shaken. 

Himai said, "Hikari. Did you really hear all of that? I'm so sorry that you have to find out this way. 

I just feel alone now." That was when Hikari hugs her in comfort as she was stunned by his actions.

"H-Hikari?" She asks the boy with stun tone.

Hikari said, "Munia's right! You're not alone, Himai. We're going thru this hibernation together. I just know that Akaria wouldn't be alone . He's with Uma and Shelby in Shioshishio, and it will take some time for them to awoken. Just believe that they'll return to us sooner than expected, you'll see." 

Himai pulls Hikari closer to her as she said, "Thank you, Hikari. Thank you." 

He was silent for a moment, as Himai was smiling. 

As he pulled apart from her, he knew that he needs to find Manaka.

Manaka was sitting on the beach , staring at the waves, couldn't believe that Akaria and the others went into Hibernation , just like she, Chisaki, Kaname and Hikari. 

"Hey, there you are." She hears a voice and she was surprise to see Hikari . 

"H-Hikari! Are you feeling ok? Everyone in Oshiooshi was worried about your condition." She said in a worried tone.

He said, "I'm totally fine! It's just hard to believe that Akaria went into Hibernation, though. You know... there is something is on my mind lately." 

Manaka was curious as she waits for him to continue.

He said, "I known you ever since we were kids. I always had a crush on you, even though I never shown it, even during our hibernation.

The thing is... I love you, Manaka! And I really want to spend the next five years with you, if you want." He said, desperately.

Manaka smiles as she said, "If that is how you want me to marry you, then why it took you so long, Hiki?"

Hikari laughs at her as if nothing else mattered. It finally made him happy that he has not just Manaka to look after, he has a purpose .
